Review 1：This is the second time I've stayed at Platan. It is a lovely facility, very modern, and the location is fantastic next to the old fort, walking distance to restaurants and central Tata. The breakfast is terrific and I will definitely continue to stay there when visiting family nearby.

Review 3：This is a very nice local hotel right next to the lake and castle in Tata. The room was nicely furnished, great AC and very clean. Staff was very friendly, they gave us early check in. Good wifi.
Review 4：The breakfast was very poor we stayed for four nights and on both occasions there was no coffee left and the hot food was cold it would be better to order hot breakfast when the guests arrive for breakfast

Review 6：We had a tiny room. We've stayed there three times in the past and always had a spacious accomodation. I don't know if I picked the wrong type of room or what, but t was not at all what I was expecting. We also ran out of toilet paper and there was not any brought to us as we were in the room after breakfast when they were going to do the cleaning. Even though we were out of the space for breakfast and majority of the day, it was not cleaned and we did not get more toilet paper. We had to go ask to get some, and no one brought any. The room was also never made up or cleaned that day. Like I said, I've stayed there before but based on this last experience, I do not know that it's worth the price. We might try another place in town.

Review 10：Located in a historic building a stone's throw away from the lake and the castle , Platan Vendeghaz is a real gem. Beautifully designed and spotless room, peace and quiet, fast and free wifi, free parking, friendly service, good breakfast, great value for money.
Review 11：Reception behind closed gate difficult to find in the dark. Bath tub overflow not connected. Nowhere to put your soap and shampoo. Too expensive compare to other HU accommodations.

Review 14：Clean, quiet, small hotel next to the park and submerged :-). There is a lake Tatai and the hotel sits just next to river exit, at the bottom of dam. The guy who welcomed us spoke perfectly english. There is a restaurant next to the hotel.

Review 27：There were small ants in the bathroom, though they didn't really bother us. The jacuzzi was in need of a part so we did not get to use it.
Review 28：It is an interesting location, right across a mill stream from the old castle on the lake. The Eszterhazy Palace is around the corner, but it is not open and in need of much renovation. The hotel is right next to the lake, which has an excellent walking path. Boating is available, but we did not have time. The breakfast room was in a beautiful vaulted cellar, and we were offered fresh-cooked cheese omelets. There did not appear to be other restaurants close by, but we had a very nice dinner in the restaurant on site. The bed was comfortable and it is in a quiet location.
Review 29：This past stay I was on second floor, and the airconditionerdidn't work. Hotel staff could not help, and it was a very warmunpleasant night. Do not stay in basement rooms, internet does notwork, no room view.
