Reviews for Bio Agriturismo Valle Scannese

Review 1:Nevertheless, given the location I'd say the price is a bit high. Also, we stayed for dinner and although we ordered single portions to share (except the pasta), we ended up paying 75 EUR for the experience. Admittedly, the amount of food was absolutely unreal, but at most agriturismos, we pay 25 a head and get just as much. This seemed a bit excessive. We would be happy with less food for a more reasonable price. We were the only guests at the restaurant, and the lodgings.

Review 2:The drive up to this place is an adventure in itself. The location is very remote, high up in the Abruzzo hills. The welcome was warm and very familiar, and they did everything they could to settle us in. They have an incredible array of cheeses and salamis made in house.

Review 3:Nothing. However, I belive that you won't be able to get to this farm without a car

Review 4:1. Peaceful location among the mountains. A lot of possibilities for hiking. When we did our hiking we have not met a single person, except for the local farmer and shepherd. 2. The food is really tasty. It is so natural and real home-made. Ricotta was fantastic. Casa del vino - very good. 3. Very friendly staff. There was a lady who speaks English well, she gave us some useful advice. 4. Parking space. 5. There a two lakes in the area (10-15 kms) - Scanno and Barrea. Very chilly and beautiful. We took a caatamaran on Barrea lake. That was a relaxing journey

Review 5:Nothing in particular, but directions to find it not good

Review 6:Quite location, good local meats and cheeses and most pleasant staff/owners

Review 7:This is a wonderful farmhouse to stay at! The owners made me feel at home. The food was all home made and delicious. There were so many animals to see, and great hiking opportunities in the mountains.

Review 8:Fantastic food - but as vegetarians it proved a bit heavy on cheese! We would have loved some fresh salad or vegetables and some fruit and yogurt in the morning. It would be lovely if there was a 'lounge', soft chairs and a bar to relax in.

Review 9:Lovely location. Very friendly. Fantastic cheese!

Review 10:Nice Agroturismo. It very busy when we were there. Great for famillies, a bit noisy for couples.
