Reviews for B&B Residenza Marina
Review 1:The wifi struggles a bit when you are in the garden and beyond (ie in our suite!) but that wasn't really much of a problem except for our teenage daughter!
Review 2:Very friendly - booked the 4 bed room and were really happy to have a little suite at the back of the property. Breakfast lovely and staff very keen to please. Great for an overnight stop.
Review 3:The entire process from check in to check out was without issue. It's a small B&B and provides everything needed for a quick business trip. Great food a short walk away.
Review 4:The breakfast was a bit thin this time.
Review 5:The staff is super friendly, the room is tidy and pretty well equipped, the price is decent and the location is central.
Review 6:On the saturday of the weekend, there was a travel group which made a lot of noise. Not technically the B&B's fault but this gave us the idea of a hostel stay for a brief moment. During the first breakfast, the juice machine was probably broken. The juice tasted like soap. Seemed to be fixed really quick, though.
Review 7:We arrived on a friday afternoon for an extended weekend to stay in Residenza. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and the environment peaceful. The breakfast was pretty good too. On the last day, the owner(?) even offered us a few local specialities to taste which were not on the buffet. That's service!
Review 8:We stayed at Residenza Marina for 10 days in early July. It was wonderful. Our expectations were high given the comments we read, and actually we thought that it was even better. The owners are very nice and super helpful family. They adviced us on finding restaurants, recommened a wine cellar... The breakfast was very good, even when we were late! If you miss anything... try asking for it. If they can, they will give it to you. We stayed in the Carrara room... wonderful. Very quiet, clean, with a little terrace and AC although we barely used it. In sum, very recommendable. Besides, you can walk to the beach in 5 min!
Review 9:Very nice and clean room, perfect location and very nice staff

Review 21:Very comfortable bed and breakfast ...very good and taken care of the details ..excellent room, breakfast and very friendly owners We loved our stay here
Review 22:This B&B was excellent. It is family-run in a section of their (large) family house two blocks from the sea. The people were just lovely. Especially Pierro was extremely helpful - we arrived downstairs at 12pm one day whereas breakfast had supposedly ended at 10am. This was no problem - he immediately appeared and brought us fresh croissants and little baguettes he gets every morning. He helped us book a tour of the Carrara marble mountains and showed us a map of the mountain. The next day he printed detailed instructions, a map and ferry schedule to visit the Cinque Terre towns. I had mentioned during the booking that we were on our honeymoon and they gave us a bigger room. They also had a complimentary bottle of champagne in our room when we arrived. The B&B itself is in a modern building and very nicely decorated, with great taste and creativity. We also enjoyed the town of Marina di Carrara as a base for visiting the marbles mountains and the Cinque Terre. It has a beautiful marble piazza and many of the sidewalks in the town are made with marble pieces. It is a cute, fairly spacious, breezy coastal town - mixedly modern and historical in architecture. There are more historical villages nearby and there is also countryside scenery nearby, as well as the mountains, and the beach. We went there in May and there were practically no tourists, a nice respite after the tourist-swamped streets of Florence. We only spent 3 nights here and we'd like to come back here for a longer stay.
Review 23:The roof terrace is wonderful! Great location, good value and very quiet and very clean.
