Reviews for Hotel Morgana

Review 1:The bed was a little hard for me, and the bathroom a little small. I longed for a kettle in the room to make a cup of tea. The 'sea view' was more of a parking lot view w Marina di Carrara is not at all the prettiest beach location on the northern tuscan coast, and the town is pretty unimpressive. The towns further south are nicer.

Review 2:Breakfast was typical Italian BnB fare, but with some better than average elements. The cakes and croisant were delicious - really high quality and there was a good selection of things to put on bread. The distance to the beach couldn't be beaten, especially as it comes w free parking. The balcony was cute; too hot to sit on even tho it was well shaded, but very handy for drying swimming things. Reasonably good air con and wifi connection mostly ok. Extra pillow already provided in the room. The staff were reasonably accommodating but variable in friendliness. Pretty much no English spoken but we managed. There's a fantastic fruit and veg shop just up Galileo street from the hotel. And a very good gelato shop on Cristoforo Columbo street walking north about 10 mins.

Review 3:only the bathtub was available in the bathroom. No shower.

Review 4:Position, room, breakfast

Review 5:Was handy location for my purpose, comfortable bed quiet and clean.

Review 6:Like every were in Italy breakfast has a lot of sweet things, but to little normal food.

Review 7:close to the beach

Review 8:on the way from Tuscany to Cinque Terre. Private parking.

Review 9:Bathroom a little small and cramped but clean and everything there what you need

Review 10:Staff friendly and nothing to much trouble, very clean, close to the fiere and the beach, would reccomend to all.

Review 11:There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Review 12:The hotel was spotless and welcoming. The staff, even though they didn't speak English, made a huge effort to try and understand. We had a family emergency during our stay and they were extremely helpful and kind. I wouldn't mind returning in the summer months.

Review 13:We had no hot water as their boiler system has broken down. They took off 20 euro off the cost of the room.

Review 14:A friendly and very clean room for a 3* Hotel!

Review 15:- A bit tight rooms - No late evening or Sunday transport links for the railway station (not even taxi)

Review 16:- Friendly and flexible staff - Great location with all necessary facilities nearby - Quiet area and convenient transport link to railway station - Good value for money - Clean, quiet with all basic amenities

Review 17:The hotel was very hard to find. Our car's GPS and road numbering showed the hotel across the street at least 2 blocks away. The hotel's signage wasn't easily visible from the street. There were a couple of restaurants nearby but the neighbourhood had very few services. The area had the look of a run-down beach town.

Review 18:The room was clean and adequate though not as nice as other 3 stars en route.

Review 19:Can be a bit noisy from the road junction right outside the hotel.

Review 20:Really nice smaller hotel - <50 m from the beach - large well appointed rooms - good breakfast served in restaurant on site - friendly staff.

Review 21:The wifi was very slow and I could not get connection on the first jugh

Review 22:The rooms were very clean functional and well maintained.

Review 23:It is in the corner of a busy street so some noise from traffic.

Review 24:Close to the fair center. Close to the seafront. Good parking behind building.

Review 25:It is like coming to visit your family! Very good!!

Review 26:Unfriendly reception. Possibly because of the language barrier.

Review 27:A few minutes walk to the beach. Nice balcony outside our room.

Review 28:Really close to the beach. Private parking.

Review 29:i needed internet connection this was very poor and very slow

Review 30:staff good, frendly, close to beach and other parts, rooms clean
