Ipomea Club has direct access to its own private beach, 1,700 feet from the fishing village of Santa Maria di Ricadi. Rooms have air conditioning, TV, and some have balconies with sea views.
The Ipomea' s buildings are surrounded by landscaped grounds, with panoramic views of the Tyrrhenian Sea. The outdoor pool with jacuzzi is set on a sea-facing sun terrace.
The private white, sandy beach is just steps away, and is provided with lounge chairs, sun umbrellas, and an exclusive bar service for guests.
Rooms at Club Ipomea are simply decorated using materials and colors typical of Calabria. All have private bathrooms and a minibar.
Ipomea Club's restaurant serves a continental menu, with freshly cooked regional specialties. After dinner drinks are served on the terrace overlooking the sea.

Review 1：They don't to make a fresch juice orange or Lemon or other juice or fruit fresch to propose to the people it' 4 star hotel ... And hot hot land ... In the afternoon proposing fresch fruit or juice was welcome .... We paied for but NOTHING ....

Review 3：Wifi reception was spotty at best and parking was not ideal. Parking spots were assigned but if you left your spot was taken by someone else or you are blocked in by other people.

Review 9：There was no elevator to rooms on the second and third floors. Mattress was very firm and I found it uncomfortable, but that is a matter of personal taste. The beach itself is sandy and the water is crystal clear, but once you are in the water, there are lots of rocks and boulders so be sure to bring water shoes.

Review 10：The pool was lovely and immaculately clean. Easy access to the private beach, with plenty of chairs and umbrellas for guests. Lifeguard is on duty. Tasty breakfast with lots of choices, including made-to-order omelettes. Rooms were clean and modern. Had a great dinner at the outdoor restaurant as we watched the sunset on the sea.

Review 12：Wonderful small calm hotel with beautiful territory. Nice sunset view from the beach restaurant. Delicious food and drinks. Everyday housekeeping. Very nice helpful personnel! No crowds like in big hotels, everywhere is so calm and relaxing. Transfers at good price and no problems during the stay. Very warm sea and swimming pool. Overall impression - i recommend.

Review 13：The hotel is located on one of the most beautiful places in Italia. The staff is extremely friendly and helpfull. Rooms are nice and clean. The hotel provides lots of services and entertainment. Loved it and will return next year!

Review 16：The WiFi was only in the office or just outside of it. As the advert for the Ipomea Club had said WiFi was available in public areas you would have thought that you could use it at the bar or around the pool area.You couldn't. To me this is false advertising. At the Ipomea you couldn't get a light snack, such as a panini for lunch. We ended up going off site to have lunch as their prices were too high. I do feel that the cost of the room with breakfast included was slightly high for what we got. However, this being said, we still enjoyed our stay here and the Italian people made it all worthwhile.

Review 17：Our family of four,which includes two teen-age boys had an enjoyable time at the Ipomea Club. It was great being right on the beach. The pool area was relaxing. There were many activities going on to keep everyone amused. My wife enjoyed the Aqua Gym in the pool twice daily. A day trip to Tropea is a must. We thoroughly enjoyed the shopping there. The view from the city looking down towards the beach is spectacular. There was entertainment every night. We didn't attend as we were too tired from the days activities. But it sounded like it was good fun! Our room for four was spacious enough and we had a nice terrace to sit out on when it wasn't too hot. There was a mini fridge to keep our drinks cold which was handy. At breakfast there was lots of variety. The fresh fruit was plentiful and the cornettos were to die for!We had one dinner there by the sea which was O.K but nothing exceptional. The staff was very welcoming. Even though we were the only guests that spoke English they tried their best to accomodate us and we in return made an attempt to speak a little Italian. All in all it was a truly positive experience for our family.

Review 18：The expandable sofa is good for kids only - an adult cannot sleep or even sit on it! The construction is very bad and I recommend to replace it with some functional and comfortable sofa.

Review 19：We admire the service and hospitality of Desole Sebastiano and would like to thank Giancarlo Cultreria for helping us to spend a beautiful holiday with small children. Ipomea is a good place to stay with kids, very good beach service. The restaurant is quite expensive - compared to the excellent fisherman's restaurant Pepino il Pescatore nearby.
