Review 1：noise from boiler or heating system somewhere outside. Sounded like a truck ticking over.

Review 2：Our stay was only for 1 night. We thought the breakfast menu was very varied and had something for everyone. Not just the standard full Irish. Staff very pleasant , friendly and helpful.

Review 3：Really nice facility. Good food served in the bar and restaurant. It was well worth getting breakfast added to our stay. Yummy! Liked that the bar has many locals.

Review 4：fruit and meats/cheese selection at breakfast buffet was limited compared to other hotels in this star rating; service was erratic at breakfast; waited 20 minutes one morning and then had to ask for a menu and a pot of tea before our presence was noticed; seemed the more staff ( young girls, some with limited english) the worse the service; on mornings where there was a more experienced gentleman on duty with only one or 2 helpers the service was perfect. Daughter ordered pancakes every morning and it was presented differently each time - not consistent. limited restaurant hours surprising in August / peak season;

Review 5：Clean, comfortable, front desk staff pleasant and helpful, plenty of parking, feee wifi, close enough to town centre but far enough away to ensure a quiet night.

Review 6：Breakfast was poor. Marmalade was awful & paper " pots" not good . Fruit selection very very poor . Fruit salad consisting of mainly apple , no seasonal fruits atrocious! No bananas available at all!!

Review 9：Poor drawer facilities in the room. Wardrobe is solid wood with only one drawer and dressing table drawer too narrow to take anything of use. Room lighting needs improvement

Review 10：Good value for money with free car parking on site. Excellent staff service very friendly and approachable. Good breakfast cooked to order 10 min walk into town. Shops, Subway and 2 petrol stations within minutes.

The staff (outrageously helpful with my delayed luggage!) could not have been any kinder or friendlier, the breakfast, and oh my goodness, my room! (#203) I couldn't have asked for a room more to my tastes!

Review 17：For a start the rooms that we seen on the site where nothing like the one we got .booked for three nights but only two because couldn't sleep with people walking past the room window .no breakfast or evening meal included in the price should of been at least a breakfast on the mornings seen outside hotel €45 two people sharing breakfast included after the money that was paid for are stay and got no breakfast was realy let down by that

Review 19：Reception staff(x2) unwelcoming, disinterested, uncaring about guest. Received an upgrade on arrival but would have been happy with a warm friendly welcome and eye contact when holding the simplest of conversation.

Review 25：The very dull and dark decor. Probably seniors over 80 years of age will feel at home here. We went to the restaurant for dinner, but we only could have a set menu for 30 euro p.p. Probably the same menu as the German group, so 30 euro is overpriced. It was also possible to eat in the bar, but the TV's showed a soccer match and the noise of cheering onlookers and the volume of the TV's were deafening. We had dinner elsewhere.

Review 26：We were given a room over the party room where a large and loud wedding was held. Staff did apologize and did not charge us for room, also provided a complimentary dinner and bottle of wine. All that was great. However, as a site that must have large parties weekly staff should have known not to put a guest in those rooms who was not connected to the party. We did not sleep that night and as a result our next day was largely a write off.

Review 30：I'd never experienced kinder staff, loved the hotel inside and out.Not to mention the incredible bar attached "Johnny Franks"that serves amazin food. Despite previous negative comments, the wifiwasn't a problem at all. I recommend the Meadowlands to anyone andeveryone! :-)

Review 51：This hotel has an older fashioned styling which really works well. As we were in the area visiting family we didn't get an opportunity to eat in the hotel for dinner, but if the breakfasts are anything to go by the food is excellent. This was a great base to visit the surrounding Kerry area. Very clean, comfortable rooms and helpful friendly staff. We would certainly visit this hotel again.

Review 60：Double key was issued for my room and I got woken at four in the morning by people trying to enter my room. My night was over then... Not good, when you consider I only went to bed at two.

Review 62：The bedroom was very old fashioned needs updating. Work was being done in the bedroom next door so there was drilling going from 10.30 in the morning. Went down for breakfast but walked out. The buffet wasn't stocked, no fruit, no bowls, no bread, when we did order our breakfast they brought out the coffee and toast and gave it to the next table who had only sat down and not even ordered.... very poor service.

Review 63：One small niggle. On the first night of our stay there was a wedding party on our floor and some noise till around 1am.

Review 65：The fact that I had to give reception a pre authorized credit card charge the day I arrived and a bill for the room when I left. Both charges appeared on my account and as yet, a week later, the first one has not been lifted.
