Hotel Resort Tonicello sells fast on our site. Featuring a private beach area and an outdoor pool, Villaggio Tonicello, is surrounded by a spacious garden set on the so-called Coast of the Gods, between Tropea and Capo Vaticano. It offers views of the Aeolian Islands and free WiFi throughout.

Review 1：WiFi was hit or miss. The food could have had more variety.

Review 2：Extremely clean and staff was very helpful. Kids club was fun and gave parents a break to relax.

Review 3：The complex is set a considerable height above the beach on a very steep hill. People with mobility issues or who like to be right on a beach might find this a problem but they provide golf buggies up and down whenever needed. Some of the apts are a LONG way from the reception and up a steep hill but again you can call a buggy. The kitchen/lounge in our apt was very basic and lacking in character but our huge balcony made up for it.

Review 4：Location - our apt overlooked the beach and right opposite Stromboli. It is also just a 20 euro taxi ride from Tropea which is a fabulous historic town with lots of great restaurants. Gardens and landscaping on hotel complex are beautiful. Food - we ate in the hotel a few nights and the food was excellent. There are also some really good value local pizzerias just up the road. Price - we stayed there in October and it was fantastic value.

Review 5：service is non existent. Moscquitos are everywhere and when requested they said that it is the season...no repeller was available so first night was orrible.

Review 9：Wearing wristbands and being completely secluded from the town, lots of mosquitos in the bedroom because of absent nets, sticky rooms, long queues at the breakfast menus because of just one coffee machine, the limited menu in the ristorante (both in quantity and quality - if you can better eat in town).
