Review 1：The tap water is salty. You can buy water in the minimarket which is only a 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

Review 2：5 minutes walk to the best beach on Santorin! A minimarket also within a 5 minutes walk. Cute building, nice and clean rooms. The pick up at the port worked very well. We rented a car at the car rent office that is near (2 minutes walk) the hotel.

Review 3：The Hotel is very good located. Shops, coffees, restaurants and beach is very close which you can reach in a short walk. The owner is nice who will pick you up on the airport. Scooter and ATVs are delivered to house for a low price!

Review 4：The studios are extremely clean and 50m away from the beach. If one stays at least 2 nights, the owners offer free transfer from and to the port/airport which is very convenient. It is our 3rd time at St George and we will come back!

Review 13：Unhelpful to help us contact renting companies. The recommended motorbike hiring company is unprofessional and wants to keep your passport in an old drawer. Don't use them, there are better companies.

Review 19：lovely family run accommodation , very close (practically on) to the black sand beach, a bit far from the main towns - though close to lots of bars and restaurants (and a few pools!!) but there is a bus to Fira - though it's slightly unreliable - but the property also offered us some great day trips we went on that visited Oia and Fira (and the volcano). great place to stay in santorini!!

Review 20：Sometimes the air-conditioner was not cooling the air. The water is salty in the shower/sink, but I don't know maybe the whole island has the same issue.

Review 21：Great Location, 2 min from the beach. Clean, every day new bed-sheets and towels. The owner took as from airport when we arrived and took as to port when we left.

Review 23：We asked in advance for a room with two beds but then it had a double one. On the website was written that room had TV but ours didn't have. Owner took my identity card when arrived and gave it back when we left!

Review 24：the location of the property is very not ideal as it is very far from Oia and Fira which is the most beautiful places in Santorini. Even we had rented the car, it is still far and inconvenience. The toilet is old and dirty. The water came out from the tap and shower head is salty guess its from the sea as the house is very near the black beach. We had rented the car and tried to find our way back home. We got lost many times and we kept making rounds and rounds. In the end, after staying for one night we decided to book another hotel located at Fira which we really enjoy our stay there, i would recommend other travellers to pay more for good accommodation to enjoy their time in santorini.

Review 25：the owner provided free pickup from the ferry port to the hotel. it is nice as it is difficult to travel around santorini without a vehicle. The owner helped us in renting the car from the car rental company.

Review 26：Great value for money, location is very good for a relaxed holiday but you can explore the whole island by car or quad. The owners are very nice, came to pick us up at the airport and were helpful with every question.

Jorge. the hotel is new and very nice. the most important aspect is the location: it is very very close to Perivolos beach. the room were cleaned everyday:new bath towels, new bed sheets etc. The staff was kind, familiar and very honest. I recommend this hotel for sure!

Review 42：The check-in closed before the arriving time of the ferries. The responsible of the hotel was very rude and unkind. He had no education in the way of speaking with costumers. His wife was the opposite. The bath water was salty.

Review 43：The last stop for the bus was abit far and not good enough wifi in the rooms esp in our rooms and no breakfast, but it was next to all the cafes and restaurants by the beach so it wasn't a major problem. Once you checked out or before you checked in the fact that they didn't have a toilet for you to use was disappointing.

Review 44：I liked the kitchen facilities and our balcony where we could sit outside, eat and talk and put our wet clothes as it would dry so fast! :D and it was next to the black sand beach! The airport shuttle service ! made our journey much easier and the staff were friendly enough!

Review 45：1) The staff in the hotel did not help with the indications to arrive to the hotel. Instead they try to sell you all the time the 20 Euros service from the port to the hotel. But this comparing to the CIty bus (2.40 Euros) is expensive. 2) The buses that pass close the hotel they just pass like two times in a day, so it is not well conected to go for example to Fira an Oia. 3) The internet does not work in the room.

I was impressed with the distance from the beach (you can see the nicest beach in Santorini from your balcony), the air conditioner which made the hot days more bearable, the size of the room which was cleaned daily and the fact that we were taken from the airport and back by car. We got everything we needed, really.

Review 49：The pictures represent the studios (twice the price) but not the basicroom, which is not comfortable. Our room was small with only a smallwindow. The door kept making noises all the time due to the wind.Bathroom was old and dated and the shower let the entire bathroom wet.The bed was hard and the hotel was away from the city center. The busdid not pass very often and was always busy. The hotel kept my passportthe entire time even despite the fact that I had paid in advance.

Review 53：The location was incredible. The nearby restaurants are superb. The pick-up and drop-off service was very handy. A day trip to Thira was also very feasible. The rooms were in excellent condition and very, very clean.

Review 54：You are required (mandatory) to leave your passport at the reception during your stay. The hotel was paid in advance so no need to keep it as guarantee. If it would be to keep a record for the authorities they should ask for (or make) a copy of it. The running water in the bathroom is not totally desalted, thus the taste and feeling take a bit of getting used to. No "free" shuttle service on day of departure.

Review 55：The location is excellent. The owner and staff are super friendly and attentive to your needs. Price is very good for the area. Free and friendly pick up on day of arrival despite of a 2hr delay in ferry.

Review 56：1. The boss is so mean that he cut off power of the room in the summer night. 2. The kitchenware is too dirty, even rubiginous. 3. It is only the first time picking up from airport or port is free. The fee is so expensive. 4. When you come back later than 9pm, the busess don't stop at the closest station. You must walk more than 1 hour.

Review 57：Unable to locate the hotel using booking.com map (and Sygic plugin)- the hotel is pin-pointed in a wrong place and is really situated a couple blocks away from the pin. That's a HUGE problem if you have to find the place yourself! I had to ask for its location at 12:00AM which wasn't the most comfortable situation you can think of. And the area is not really distinctive- I had big trouble finding the hotel. The phone number provided on the page and the reservation confirmation was incorrect- fax answered the phone. It didn't help to locate the hotel either. Of course- once you've found it, the location is quite cool, just near the black-sand-beach. Towels provided, but soaps- not really.

Review 58：Value for money- in Santorini, every place with a reasonable price is worth looking at. Side note- I don't have anything against the staff, but I can't call them particularly helpful or friendly either- like other opinion posters did. I didn't feel the "Greek hospitality", but then again, it's hard to experience that in Santorini (no offense to REAL Greeks living there :) )...

Review 59：this place would definitely lower your experince in santorini. if you only stay one night or the hotel do not come to pick u up it would be quite painful to find here in the summer. the location is really difficult to find, it is not in the beach road, it is somewhere behind that. i spent two hours on the beach road to search the hotel. and the owner of the hotel is quite mean. the woman is ok but her husband is really mean. I ask him to send us to the other side of the beach(about 2 km) to catch the bus to Fira since our luggage is too heavy. he refused my request and ask"how heavy is your lungage?" can you imagine taking so many luggage and walking more than 2km in such a hot day? and he offer me a choice to spend 15 euros to take his car to fira.I never ever met such a mean man in Fira. and the room is not comfortable, it is quite old and not clean, there is no wifi at all. the water is salty, it seems that the water is the ocean water without any purifying. I have lived another studio on the perrisa beach for two days before, the water is absolutely not that salty and the studio also only cost me 40 euros per night and offer a more convenience room with wifi and better location. all in all, the place is not worth its price.

Review 61：The place is near the beach but far from everything else, literally in the middle of nowhere. We chose it only because we had to stay one night and we needed a lift to the port but it was even too much time. The reception and the welcoming were terrible. We arrived at night and we couldn't find anyone to ask where our room was so we had to scream in the dark at night to wake up the receptionist. Then the room: literally two beds and two fold sheets. We even FOUND A COCKROACH in the bathroom. But the worst thing was that we had to pay not only 40 € for a very ugly and dirty room and just 4 hours of sleep but even 20 € extra for the lift to the port because we "only stayed one night" even if an other couple of people had to go there anyway and for free. A really awful place, just don t go there

Review 63：They really took care of us and both picked us up from the airport and dropped us off because they had to pick someone else up. Room was spacious, clean, cool and a stones throw from the beach.

Review 64：We were mislead by reviews and pictures. The wifi did not reach our room, only worked 30% of the time, and when it did work was VERY slow. The room's A/C unit did not work. We were not even in the building pictured. The bathroom had a shower spout, but no "shower area". The beds and pillows were so uncomfortable we debated sleeping on the beach. We have traveled Europe quite a bit, and frankly this was one of the most disappointing places we have stayed in.

Very very very close the the black beach, and has a wonderful restaurant in front of the room ( nice food & good place). Beside the room has a bus station, th problem is only 5 bus / day to Fira. Another bus station needs to walk at least 10 minutes. But really nice place for enjoy sunshin & swimming...Wonderful big black beach!!!

Review 72：Absolutely LOVED the location of this guesthouse!!! It's literally a stone's throw from the beach and all the restaurants. The family that owns this property is wonderful and were very welcoming. He picked us up from the airport, recommended ATV/scooter rental companies (which we were very happy with) and dropped us off at the harbour when it was time to leave. Our room was cleaned daily. This room was simple but perfect for us. Plus it had air-conditioning which was a welcome relief to the hot, hot sun!!

Review 118：It is very close to all you need for an amazing stay: beach, bar, cafe, restaurant! Staff kind and very helpful in suggesting us a friend of yours for rent a motorbike, in recommending bakery, shops and restaurant, in trasfer from and to the port! We booked a double room but Mr Dazentas put up us in a studio of new bulding; it is comfortable and clean: you can have the breakfast in the terrace in a spectacular sea view!

Review 119：Far from center of the island and big market.(there is only one small market near the hotel) Big markets and cheap restaurants are about 2km far from the restaurant.

Review 120：Location is nice,very near the black beach and quiet. The facilities are ok, wifi didn't work sometimes. It was clean enough , they cleaned our room everyday . The owner was very helpful,and he take guests to the port or airport any time, even midnight!!

Guests who wish to be picked up from the port/airport are kindly requested to inform the hotel at least 36 hours in advance of their estimated arrival time. Please also note that airport or port pick-up times are between 09:00 and 17:00.
