Review 3：The rooms are terrible! Smell like mold, not very clean. One of our rooms the shower would flood the floor and another room our group had the doors wouldn't shut. Not worth the money.

Review 9：The beach is rocky and horrible although the water is beautiful. The buffet breakfast was good but the lunch a la carte food was not good. Frozen and served cold although the staff was aiming to please.

Review 10：The grounds are spacious, the apartments are very nice, as is the pool/area. The location is good and is a short drive to Siracusa/Ortigia or the other way to nice beaces at Fontane Bianche for example. The gentleman who was working for check-in and check-out was extremely helpful, patient and friendly.

Review 11：The restaurant seemed a completely different part of the hotel/apartment complex, and they were not friendly. Although advertised as self catering, there were no pots and pans, and we had to ask for them. There was nothing to clean the pots with, and the restaurant staff were grumpy when we asked about this, took our pots away and said we had to pay to get any more!. Restaurant itself very very expensive with one option on per day, and drinks exorbitantly priced. No shop on site, which might have been nice. The beach was tiny, and very rocky, and packed. THe hotel's private beach was just some sand imported onto a clifftop, and again very busy. There were no parasols on the balcony so shade impossible. Although pool nice, there was nothing going on around it, there was a big tent/bbq area that was totally unused. The whole complex felt a bit disjointed, like it hadn't been thought out very well, and like it couldn't decide what it was. This place isn't cheap, and for the price we paid, I expected first class service and facilities, and we just didn't get it. They advertise free bike hire, but that's only within the complex, which is small, outside of the complex it's 50 euros a day! Each! Although clean, and the main staff lovely, I wouldn't go back.

Review 32：The kitchen was not fully equipped and was not suitable for self catering. The breakfast was ok, but not very tasty, so, although there seemed to be a lot of choice, it was, in fact, quite limited what I could eat.

Review 33：It was well laid out and the pool and games facilities were nice. However, I did not see, at any time during our three day stay, a lifeguard, anywhere near the pool, considering children also use the pool, I would have thought this to be obligatory.

Review 36：Beautiful and very clean apartments, new construction and very comfortable. Staff very friendly. The swimming pool is great and the sea is very close. It is a nice place to stay and relax and visit the surrounding historical towns and beaches of the area.

Review 39：Car required to stay at this hotel, far from city centre and any other amenities ie restaurants, fast food, supermarkets. This made it difficult to find dinner and although there is a kitchenette in the apartment there are no cooking utensils provided to prepare meals. Wifi was intermittent at best and even when it was working there was no range in the apartment forcing us into the driveway or front office to pick up signal. Apartment had a very, very strong moldy/musty smell - most uncomfortable to spend time in the apartment, plus there were ants throughout apartment. The hotel advertises a private beach however it is merely a gate on the hotel premises opening out to a public beach. The hotel only has one key to the gate for all guests to use, which is most inconvenient and makes it not worth the hassle seeing as the walk from the apartments to the gate is almost a km. The front gate to access hotel / parking is controlled by hotel staff only (from the office) and no key is provided to guests for ease of access to come and go during the stay. Breakfast had mainly sweet options with limited healthy / fresh food. Reception was not attended at all times and was not locked when not attended, leaving all guests passports visible and free for anyone to take. No call bell was available at reception to gain attention. Overall not worth the money.
