Review 1：The hotel was a long confusing walk from the train station dragging our bags up some steep paths. Sometimes we felt we were staying at Fawltey Towers lots of notices around about rules etc. it was challenging being a guest there

Review 5：The owners/staff..booo :( I titled this review 'Lemongate' after the owner refused to allow me to have a Lemon at breakfast and physically removed from my hand - unreal!!! But you have to laugh about it and lack of understanding around customer service, considering there were bowls of Lemons! Wifi is turned off every night @ 11pm...bizarre and weird! I really wanted to like this place but after my 'Lemongate' incident it's hard to, especially after spending in excess of £500 for the weekend. The Owners' Mama is fantastic and hilarious though!!!

Review 9：They didn't take Visa or any other cards despite info on Booking.com, No Air condition in the room, even this false information on booking.com Lots of rules for everything, everywhere there were smal notes with different smal rules, don't rest legs on chairs outside, no suncream in the pool etc. etc... smal things but ruins the good feeling. No WiFI in the rooms and they shut down wifi after 23 or 24 hours every day ?!

Review 11：Not a real disadvantage, but something to consider: the access to Moneglia from Sestri, which is the usual way to get there, is through a 5km one way tunnel along the shore. As it is one way, it's open three times an hour for five minutes. Just plan when you're leaving. Otherwise relax and wait.
Review 12：We are always looking for a quiet hotel with swimming pool at walking distance from the town centre. Leopold sure meets our demands. Just walk across the cliff and within 10 minutes you are in the centre of Moneglia. Head the other way from the hotel and you reach the railway station within 10 minutes. Perfect, as we like to leave our car in a parking place (provided by Leopold, very convenient just 100m further along the road). Train brought us to Genova (1h15m), Sestri Levante (10m) and the Cinque Terre (25m). Hotel breakfast is extraordinary, absolutely great! View from the terrace is marvelous; when you don't have a sea view room, you can use a large terrace at the third floor. Swimming pool is nice, long stretched, good enough for my morning swim workout. We found all seats mostly for ourselves during the day (in June). You can walk down to the beach in 5 minutes where you will find a very good bar/restaurant. Lunch is very good. Always a lot Italian people having lunch there. Hotel Leopold is definitely a place to get back to. Besides rooms they also rent apartments.
