Reviews for Antico Borgo Agriturismo
Review 1:Only convenient if you have a car. No eggs at breakfast
Review 2:Beautiful, green, peaceful, wonderful Francesca. Big dinner, couldn't eat all the courses, so they charged us less. Francesca organized our trip to Etna immediately upon request, though it was late at night for the following day.
Review 3:The noise from the motorway. I am asthmatic & was affected by the proximity to aforesaid motorway.
Review 4:The restaurant serves delicious Sicilian cuisine.
Review 5:The cons are the mosquitos (which will be present in any farm/agriturismo stay in any case, just be ready for it), and the location is too close to the highway, which can be heard (but not so much from within the rooms). No wifi in the rooms.
Review 6:Excellent breakfast with homemade jams and pastries. A huge garden with fruit trees - picj and eat! Very friendly staff. The dinner was nice - the entrees much better than the main course though.
Review 7:Wifi is only available in the public areas. Having said that, this has got its own good side.
Review 8:Antico Borgo is an amazing and very charming place to stay, close to the beautiful beaches inTaormina . It is run in a very friendly and professional manner. Astonishing breakfast. The room was quiet, nicely decorated, spacious and extremely clean. I would recommend this place and I will definitely come back!
Review 9:Everything was just wonderful. So beautiful house and garden (kids eat fruits from the trees), great and helpful staff and the food! We recommend to order dinner in Antico Borgo, it was soooo delicious. They also arranged a guide for Etna trip for us - it was also great. Wish we could stay longer!

Review 18:Very nice rustic location with a view on the Etna. Beach is nearby and Taormina can be visited by half an hour drive. Rooms are clean and modern. Highway and train are nearby, but not disturbing. Breakfast is very good and staff is very friendly.
Review 19:Wi-Fi in the room could've been nice, but then again, you can live without that.
Review 20:A fantastic location. Beautiful surroundings and very helpful staff. The hostess recommended us to go to a local festival in the nearby village when we asked for restaurants close by. It was truly our best food experience in Sicily, one we will never forget. Walking back from the food festival at night we could watch lava pour out of the volcano, a fascinating experience. We really liked it here.
Review 21:Nothing to add :)

Review 49:Nothing. No complaints here at all.... Most accommodating .
Review 50:Everything from the lodging to the staff running both the lodging and the restaurant with great Sicilian food and hospitality
Review 51:Room was old-fashioned and lighting too dim to read. Property in stage of development and verandah overlooks rubble not garden. Have to ring on arrival for key. The B&B is unmanned after breakfast/room cleaning.

Review 53:There is a road not far from hotel. At night you hear a noise from cars.
Review 54:This hotel is older house. It was build more then 500 years ago!! There are a beautiful place, Etna view and orange grove. The staff Giusy and her daughter Franchesca are very nice and friendly. They do everything to make you feel at home! In the restaurant the chef prepares delicious typical sicilian dishes. All was very majestic! I would like to come back to this hotel next trip to Sicily!!!
Review 55:The location is a nightmare as the building is right next to the mainhighway with constant traffic from Messina to Catania/Palermo andthe train station is very nearby, so very noisy at night. Calatabiano isa horrible place with no restaurants (we found one near the Castle whichwas a rip off).
Review 56:The manageress Giusy was delightful - friendly, helpful, nothing was toomuch trouble. Breakfast was very good and Giusy changed our room to theground floor with no problems.
Review 57:the hotel is quite a distance from the nearest town making it difficult to get food or enjoy nightlife at night. also, be sure to bring your bug repellent as the insects are numerous.
Review 58:the hotel staff were very helpful and the breakfast in the morning was delicious. They also have lemon and orange trees on the property that guests are allows to pick directly off of. Parking was available on the property. Its a very affordable hotel.

Review 62:Wonderful breakfast buffet with fresh fruit. Views of Mt. Etna steaming from main patio/WiFi area. Quaint setting. Close enough to Taormina and Mt. Etna for evening or day trips.
Review 63:particularly the staff, mother and daughter who could not do enough to make you feel welcome. The surroundings were idyllic, especially being at the foot of Etna. it was 11 ha of paradise
Review 64:Interstate noise at night was difficult to sleep thru. No wireless internet as advertised.
Review 65:Excellent service, staff was very friendly. Beautiful grounds. Conveniant to Taromina and Mt Ettna.
Review 66:The location was quite near the motorway, which can be heard from the garden.
Review 67:The reception was very welcoming and friendly, the room very nice and well furnished . It is part of an old winery which is now an orange and lemon grove. Delightful at this time of year (April). We stayed 3 nights and were mostly alone, which was a little strange but ok. Breakfast was good. A good location for Etna and Taormina.
Review 68:Nice view to the Etna. Very friendly staff.
