Review 1：a little pricey compared to other places in Bali though certainly an incredible place it maybe felt a bit over priced given the context. Also - COMO Shambhala promises and delivers a very specific experience that isn't for everyone - decidedly not for the party crowd or the fried food / soda drinker or even the traveller that needs constant motion and stimulus - while there are activities and there is no shortage of things to try, see or experience this is the type of retreat that one also cannot do without a of introspection and self healing - so if you're not

Review 2：the place is gorgeous. you have to be ready for a quiet introspective period. the staff is incredible. maybe the best thing about the place is the food. i needed exactly this and though it took me a few days to adjust i really loved the experience and would go again without reservation

Its a must ) i think its a place where u have your soul free way from all stress and tension .. Ive stayed for 3 nights and really wish it was a longer stay than this

Review 7：Everything about the entire experience. The staff were excellent and friendly. Accomodation was faultless. Facilities were complete ad maintained at an excellent level. Food was delicious with a great variety to suit all pallets. There was nothing we could fault. 3 days felt like a week in heaven and we unwound and relaxed completely from day one. The estate grounds were beautiful and transquil and the activities offered were wonderful

Review 8：The ayurvedic session was spent with the doctor telling me for 20 mins how I should stop bathing with soap because he does, and just because society uses soap, it doesn't mean I should. He didn't even take my pulse, which all previous ayurvedics have done. I think he's less experienced than the Como ayurvedic I visited in my last stay 3 years ago. The food is somewhat a hit or miss. The 4 of us who stayed liked 1 thing for dinner and 1 thing for dinner and that's all we ate for the rest of the stay. Being able to speak the local language, I know that the hotel gets 50% kickbacks for taxis you take. Which is why the price is 50% higher than if you call a car without the hotel's 'help'. 1 driver took advantage of this anyway and charged us the 50% extra even if we called him externally. Worth to check first.
