Review 1：I had a room at the ground floor and had like 15 Mosquitos bites and couldn't sleep well because of that. Although the staffs were trying everything to avoid the Mosquitos, but it didn't work.

I was in Ubud for the writers' festival so the free drop off and pick up car service was invaluable. And the spa service! Fabulous. I will definitely be back for next year's festival, and I look forward to seeing everyone at Kajane again.

Review 26：We booked a standard room and I would not recommend booking this category ever. View on a "bamboo wall" highly disappointing and highly overpriced in my opinion. Manager was very understanding, though. Made a lot of efforts to get us a room with a pool view so we cannot complain. I guess not everybody will get that lucky considering the hotel might be fully booked in time so for a couple of dollars/euros I strongly recommend travelers book a superior room in the first place. Still somewhat pricy for Ubud anyway.

They offer transfer(a lot of which was free), the facilities were absolutely beautiful, the bed was so comfortable, and it was in was in the ideal location. They offered afternoon tea and these delicious fried bananas everyday which was silicosis. We could walk pretty much anywhere from the hotel. Also, I felt very safe there!

We received a wonderful afternoon tea spread everyday, a great breakfast, and bikes to use from the property. They were polite, efficient, and welcoming. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ubud-what a value! We will be back!

Review 44：So many things didn't go right:1) noise vu night from tjr next door bar 2) noise At 6am from the machine killing the insects (heavy engine noise) 3) noise during the day from the hotel building next door AND all kinds of ceremonies going on at the hotel 4) we hired a baby sitter of the hotel as we couldn't use ours due to hotel policy, we found her after 1 hour sleeping on our bed! She tried to appologise saying she felt asleep because she couldn't watch TV... I informed the hotel staff (2 different ones) who didn't appologise and didn't seem to think there was anything wrong with that ("she must have been tired" -> it was 9am!!!) 5) oh and expect noise from anyone rolling their suitcase (anytime of day or night) If you have a baby who needs sleep it's a night mare

Review 49：Wow, we had the most amazing stay at KajaNe Mua. The staff is super friendly, kind and helpful now and than it was even a bit overwhelming for us. The villa is great, the pool is semi private as you share it with another villa. For us this was no issue at all. There are about 5 different kind of breakfast menus, for a little amount it’s possible to add some extras. The breakfast is served in the villa, quit a good start of the day. KajaNe Mua is located at the busy Monkey Forrest Road, with all its restaurants and shops. The moment that you make one step at the property of the hotel you don’t see anything back from the busyness. It feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. They provide a free shuttle (not by schedule, just ask) in the Ubud area, which can be a good thing during a rainy hour.

Review 58：I had a room in the main building. In order to enter my room I had to walk thru the restaurant. My room had no mirrors but did have a balcony. The bathroom was black with spotlights so I never saw myself in natural light! this is good at home, not really when travelling! the wardrobe doors were stuck, the ac was located above the bed & the fan direction was on my face until after the 4th night someone managed to divert the direction! I was given 2 small bottles of water daily, never any fruit & I did not feel looked after compared to previous hotels of this standard. The bathroom design was poor. there was space for another 2 shelves & a towel rail would have been very practical. I had a few problems! I think the villa experience must be better!!

Review 59：I have stayed in monkey forest road my past 3 visits & I know this hood well! the restaurant staff were all very welcoming & friendly also eager to please!

She said no one in our family dropped the bottle. 2nd time, another person asked my daughter the same question. And lastly the cashier asked me when I checked out. They didn't press further. Our mansion room was gorgeous and comfortable, the semi-private pool (shared between 4 rooms) was it's own little tropical oasis lined with lush vines and vegetation, and the service was excellent. We had breakfast included--a great selection and more than we could eat. It was delivered to our patio table at no extra charge within minutes of ordering it. The room was cleaned twice a day, including turn down service. We were offered afternoon tea each day. The staff was extremely friendly--always greeting us and asking if we needed anything. The location is also amazing. Right out the hotel entrance the street is lined with eclectic restaurants, boutiques, yoga studios, and art galleries. It was about a 10 minute walk to the Monkey Forest. We wished we had stayed longer than 3 nights! Highly recommended!

Review 68：Even though we had mentioned that we would be traveling with an infant they gave us a room on the second level which you have to climb two flight of stairs for which are quite slippery (it rains a lot in ubud in dec) they changed our room however but we found it small with an old tv and not much space to move around. They put an old cot bed for our baby which was dusty with a hard mattress. Breakfast is said to be included but when we asked for another cup of coffee or fruit cup we were charged.. There aren't many options anyway. Staff tried to help but most don't speak much English so it was hard to communicate. The room however does come with a shared private plunge pool so if your looking for some quiet time in a small boutique hotel and don't want anything luxurious which is central this is the place to be!

Workers from construction site sometimes peep at the villa, (even bath!), because the building under construction is taller than the barrier of the villa. Even though staff installed screens at the bath, privacy has gone. I think that the issue will continue because the building is taller than any of villas in Kajane. 2. I booked the One-Bedroom Villa with Private Pool via booking.com. The pictures shown for this type of villa in booking.com do not match with the villa where I stayed. Moreover, the villa where I stayed was two-story villa. This information is not described in booking.com. Two-story villa is very inconvenient for family with a young child.

Review 107：Air Conditioner blows right on you when laying on the bed with no way of shifting the vents away. So you freeze at night or you cook if you leave it off. Also the bathroom is dangerous in the dark in the middle of the night as the floors are black with a high step between the sink and toilet making it a tripping hazard if you don't turn on the lights.

Review 108：Well located in the centre of Ubud it is quiet and comfortable. Amenities are best when renting a villa than a room in the main building that is acceptable with a 4 star rating at best. Compared to 5 star hotels in Nusa Dua it is too expensive for what you get.
