Review 1：It was difficult to get anywhere without a car and the mattress was very hard.

Review 2：The restaurants and tranquillity. The pool was amazing and staff very helpful.

Review 3：Very nice small hotel with super friendly staff in the lovely old Capalbio, with all its delicious restaurants. Good spot to explore the area - the beach front and the wonderful villages inland.

Beautiful medieval village with several restaurants to choose from every evening. The staff were very helpful and welcoming.

Review 8：Very nice, small tuscany style hotel in Capalbio (medieval village). We spent 1 week here with my family. This hotel gives you opportunity to fully relax, from the other hand is good base for the trips around (e.g. Pitigliano, Terme di Saturnia, Siena etc.). Very friendly staff and managers. For sure we will come back here again!

Review 9：Only slight and I mean very slight criticism is, that when it us busy space for breakfast can be limited. That saying the staff went out if their way to find you a table somewhere. Maybe some tables could be available outside for breskfast

Review 18：Great two night break while attending a wedding in Capalbio. The fact it was low season added to the personal attention of the staff and the tranquility of our stay. Breakfast was adequate, buffet style with a nice selection of options. Room was spacious and comfortable. We didn't get a room overlooking the countryside which in hindsight we might of paid the extra cost. All in all a nice stay and the staff were great. Pool is also very nice if not a bit cold but perfect for to aid the recovery of tired legs after a morning run.

Capalbio is a wonderful town to explore and this hotel is ideally situated within walking distance (albeit up quite a steep hill). We had an one-bedroom apartment unit which was large and nicely decorated. There was a small terrace balcony. Breakfast was excellent. In addition, the staff was delightful - helpful and pleasant. It was a lovely, relaxing stay.

There are 10 restaurants within walking distance from the hotel, so don't let the 3 star rating fool you, this is a top notch hotel.

Review 53：Main reasons for booking this hotel were the close proximity to places to eat, the gym and the swimming pool. The hotel did not disappoint on any of these. There are many places to eat locally without having to drive. The gym is small but sufficient for a holiday workout and the swimming pool area is lovely. The hotel is very clean and staff very friendly. Breakfast was also very good.

Review 58：All in all it's an ageing hotel and could need a little renovation. Rooms are not soundproof and as there have been families with small kids it was noisy.

Review 59：The hotel is right at the foot of the medivial city Capalbio. We had two rooms (breakfast-kitchen & a bedroom) and a small balcony. The bed was large and comfortable. Breakfast was good (different kinds of freshmade cakes). Parking is free.
