Reviews for Agriturismo L'Ulivo E Il Mare

Review 1:The proximity to the next apartment. Should have been some kind of partition on the terrace to provide some privacy. No wine glasses and only 6 glasses in total in an apartment for 5 people! The bedroom was located 3 steps down from the livingroom. There was no mention of that in the description. The hard spring matress in the bedroom gave my husband a severe back pain. No mosquito nets anywhere. You either had to sleep with all doors and windows closed or endure the itching mosquito bites.

Review 2:The view from the terrace. The friendly owner who gave us 2 bottles of local wine when we asked if he had some wine to sell, and who told us we could pick fruits on the fig tree in the garden.

Review 3:this place is poorly located next winding and unpaved roads. Moneglia is a dull city with little shops where to get supplies. Only for the desperate travellers.

Review 4:We enjoyed everything. Was easy to find by car. Bruno was a fantastic host. We had a wonderful apartment with a balcony facing the ocean. We also enjoyed the 20 minutes hike down/up to Moneglia. It's highly recommended to take the train to in Cinque Terre.

Review 5:Our room was a bit crowded with a double bed and a set of bunk beds but still functional for our needs.

Review 6:It's off the beaten path which made it quiet and relaxing. Bruno was extremely helpful when we arrived, showing us everything we needed to know about the property and unit. It's a 2 or 4 km drive to Moneglia (depending on which route you take) on winding roads through the countryside. Bruno sent driving directions two days before our arrival. Moneglia was quite compaired to the Cinque Terre towns 30 minutes away by train. Our room had a nice balcony facing the sea.

Review 7:Bruno was an excellent host and very helpful with alll our needs. Easy access to train to Cinque Terra and Moneglia just 4 km away had everything including beaches and restaurants.

Review 8:It was quite a hike into town, about 3km on the "short cut." It would probably be better to drive and try to find a parking spot there, but the roads are VERY narrow and have a lot of twists and turns. But- you can't get that kind of view and serenity without being a little removed from conveniences!

Review 9:The view from our room was breathtaking. From the balcony we could see olive groves, the town of Moneglia, and the sea. The apartment was fully furnished and the kitchen had all the necessities. Bruno was very friendly, and our dog was more than welcome there. If we return to the Cinque Terre area, we will definitely try to stay there again.

Review 10:That we were there only for 3 days, a prefer to stay longer.

Review 11:Great location and great view to the see. Near the main roads and easy access to the Cinqua terre and other places around. Polite staff and parking area.

Review 12:Great view and location!

Review 13:Very close to the train station, beach and town. The place was very clean!

Review 14:Bruno, the owner is very friendly and helpful.

Review 15:the access is a bit difficult, very narrow road!

Review 16:great location with breathtaking view, very quiet

Review 17:Very close to other residence, difficult drive way to get into

Review 18:The view was great

Review 19:You do need to be confident driving on very narrow winding roads. They are the norm once you get off the autostrade in this part if Italy. When I struggled to get the car up the driveway one day, Bruno kindly came out to help.

Review 20:Bruno was very friendly and helpful! We felt like we were away from the tourists and in the real Italy. Wonderful view. Emailed instructions to get there were clear and house well signposted. From Moneglia (4km) train access to Le Cinque Terre.

Review 21:The road leading to the place is a bit narrow and tricky to navigate.

Review 22:The apartment itself was modern, clean, spacious and very comfortable. The owner was extremely welcoming and friendly, we had no problems with late checkin.

Review 23:It's quite far away from the village, you will need your own transport. It's up the hill and you will need some guidance to find it.

Review 24:The studio is big, well appointed and clean. The view is great and the area very quiet and relaxing

Review 25:Getting around in the car not easy due to tight winding roads. Watch out for pickpockets on trains to Cinque Terre.

Review 26:Great view. Loved the walk down to the town. Nice spacious feel and very helpful owner.

Review 27:Has to do with location only: the extremely narrow road - typical italian - to Moneglia and the beach, the footpaths are also quite steep.

Review 28:It is a very comfortable and convenient place to stay at, suitable for going to the beach or hiking and also for visiting Cinque Terre. Bruno, the owner, is a great host and the view is wonderful.

Review 29:the neighbors are too close.

Review 30:Very nice people, everyone is very helpful. 20 minutes of walking from the city. they gave very helpful tips about the sights, restaurants and the beach.

Review 31:Very limited hot water, very narrow roads to and from the hotel. Fridge and outside porch were dirty with food scraps.

Review 32:Great location, great views of the ocean. Easy train trip from Moneglia to the 5 towns of the Cinque Terre. Very peaceful and quite spot. Free washing machine and Wi-Fi. Self contained apartment - having a kitchen was great.

Review 33:Bruno, the owner speaks good English and explains everything you can do around. The view from above the sea is amazing! But you have to be a very skillful driver to go up there! Thanks - it was excellent!

Review 34:The location was challenging as a traveler on foot, but our host was most generous about making sure we could get around. Beautiful setting...breathtaking view...very convenient to hiking on the Cinque Terre trail. Moneglia is a beautiful town, off the beaten path.

Review 35:The owner Bruno is really friendly, speaks fluent English and will help you with any advice you might need about these parts. Appartments location is sweet, with a nice view from the terrace and a footpath that will get you down to Moneglia in 15 mins. It was very peaceful, we slept well every night, although that might be of the tiredness from hiking all day. Really liked the place and the city of Moneglia as well.

Review 36:Small water heater made for really quick showers so as not to run out. There were 5 of us, so we had to manage pretty tightly. The entrance isreally tight to get into via car, so that took some getting used to. Butafter a day or two, you become really good at 3-point (or 4/5/6/7-point) turns! :)

Review 37:Loved the great scenic views, the (initially scary, but so awesome)drive to get there. Liked the isolation/quiet, the owner is greatand friendly, liked the price, liked that it was close by car to a trainstation to get you to Cinque Terra.

Review 38:Noise of the kids of other travellers in the morning at 6 am on saturday and sunday morning.

Review 39:View, terrace, clean, well equipped, good hospitality

Review 40:hotel alittle hard to find. road a bit narrow

Review 41:the peaceful countryside. relaxed atmosphere

Review 42:Great view of the gulf.
