Reviews for Hotel Residence Moneglia

Review 1:No wifi in the rooms, only at the reception.

Review 2:Nice hotel placed in a wonderfull area. Good value of money considering the location (beautifull Moneglia and impressive Cinque Terre nearby).

Review 3:No a/c just because I'm use to having it

Review 4:I LOVED the fact that it was in a great location!!!! The train was literally 600 feet away.... We went on a nice walk and there was the train. If you want the beach side it's literally 4mjns away! My husband times me because I was walking "slow" and it only took us 4 mins and there was a beautiful beach!!! There was a small town where we ate and their pizzeria, bakeries and small markets with fresh fruit!!! The cinque there towns were not far either. The hotel room was okay. Living room with a couch, kitchen with cups, fridge small freezer , table and its own private porch entrance. Then it had a good size bathroom with a nice bedroom. It's just not modern with garnet tops and all but we enjoyed it! It did not have a/c and we went first week of sept and it wasn't so hot where I was dying and I get hit fast. It was great!!! Money well spent

Review 5:Very annoying is the railway just 60 feet away from the hotel. We had to sleep with the windows closed and there is no airco, only one ventilator. The smoke of the pizza oven came in to our bedroom evey day.

Review 6:The swimmingpool was very nice. The proximity of the beach and the center of the village was perfect. Neatness of the appartment OK. Every day cleaning and towel service.

Review 7:The location was perfect. 5 min walk (if that) to and from the trainstation, and 5 min walk (if that) to the strip in Moneglia. Easy to getto Cinque Terre but you can also escape the tourists when you want to gohome. Room perfectly adequate and had a nice pool, nice lobby and goodrestaurant right on spot.

Review 8:Expensive room rate for 2 star accommodation. Children charged as adults. Parking and breakfast were not included in the rate and cost extra. Wifi did not work in rooms. Shower was difficult to use due to shape of tub.

Review 9:Close to sea and 5 Terre. Nice balcony for sitting outside.

Review 10:Bath tub is of amazing shape and extremely small, medium sized person cannot stand/sit comfortably as having step inside bath tub. No toilet paper stand near the toilet Kicthenate was not having utensils and cooking equipment as required, no cleaning stuff, no microwave and dish washer. Trash has to be disposed off by guests otherwise charged

Review 11:Location, very near to railway station also near by beach. With attached restaurant as an advantage

Review 12:quite old looking rooms..

Review 13:good place for a budget, nothing fancy. Clean, wi-fi works only at the reception. Beach is near if you want a quick morning swim.

Review 14:Room towards railway, very noisy. Super tiny bathroom, you can hardlymove inside, bathtub was not very clean. No window, balcony door in thecorner behind kitchenette, which made the room dark and not verywelcoming. Internet free but not accessible if more than 4 people try touse it. Breakfast composed of huge amount of plastic jams/packedcakes etc, tiny amount of ham/cheese and vegatable disappearsimmediately and they do not bring more unless you ask for it.

Review 15:Location. The hotel has a parking which is an advantage when you need topay on the meter on the street, they change for it but still it is lessthan on the street. Breakfast was included in the Booking.com rate butwe noticed a hilarious information in the room: Breakfast is notincluded in the room rate. It is 6 Euro but it does not include ham andcheese. This is great indeed, after you have dare to eat some ham andcheese, they will charge you additionally. I have not seen anything likethat before.

Review 16:The shower is a bit old fashion.

Review 17:We stayed in a nice apartment with two bathrooms and a big terrace. The nearby restaurant offers good pizza and local food. The apartment was cleaned everyday.

Review 18:Although dated, our 2 room apartment was comfortable. Huge terrace withumbrella, table, and chairs. Hotel was perfect for us... Very close topublic beach, many restaurants and shops, and also train stationaccessing the Cinque Terre. Perhaps the biggest surprise- the restaurantdownstairs! Simply amazing! Honestly, the best meal our family hasenjoyed since we arrived in Europe 3 months ago. Pizza, pasta dishes, mussels, desserts, coffee-- everything was perfect! Thank you!

Review 19:Train too close, very loud. It was right outside our bedroom window. Balconies attach, you could step from one to another.

Review 20:Beautiful outside, nice pool

Review 21:Wifi didn't work in the room, breakfast was extra but they didn't really mention that. It was just posted behind the desk. You could feel the springs sticking out of the mattress, so I didn't sleep well.

Review 22:Working a/c, staff was very helpful when we needed a map or had questions, walking distance to beach, pool was quiet but nice (seemed like it would be fun for kids too), restaurant downstairs was convenient and delicious.

Review 23:train passing quite often, but we got used to it:)

Review 24:I liked the spacious (meant for 4 persons) apartment with a separate bedroom and a nice balcony. The pool was great for our children and both the beach and train station is only minutes away.

Review 25:Bathroom dated but was clean and not a problem. Breakfast had a limited choice and was very disappointing -sliced bread, in a town full of good and varied bread, was just not good enough.

Review 26:Comfortable friendly hotel. Excellent location, within an easy stroll from the station and to the beach and town centre which contains many good restaurants. Large pool. Room very comfortable with a balcony on which we ended each evening with a bottle of wine!

Review 27:The WiFi is only available on the first floor. The room was quite dark because of its brown colours. It was sometimes a little messy outside with the leafs from all the trees.

Review 28:Well located close to the beach and the train station. Cozy hotel with a beautiful view over Moneglia. The staff was nice and the terasse on the roof is excellent for sunbathing. I liked the little bathtub in the room. But the absolute best part of the hotel is the cute outdoor pool and the warm outside shower:)

Review 29:This hotel is close to the train station which is convenient, but sometimes at night u can hear the training passing by.

Review 30:I enjoyed the staff they was very helpful with making my family and I feel comfortable. The lady at the front desk valoria (i spelled her name wrong ) was so helpful. She spoke good English. She helped me with getting around touring with my family. they cooked my husband and I eggs every morning because we requested. which was a first for me in Italy. When they closed the pool they allowed my kids to go in pool so they don't ne bored. They is a restaurant right outside of the hotel great food and prices. Another thing that made me love this place more was the lady at front desk brought some shoes for me that i had compliment her on. She went to get them on her DAYOFF!!! I was so amazed with this place. The rooms was spacious and clean. The came in everyday to change my sheets and straighten up my things. I will most definitely be returning next summer with my inlaws

Review 34:Facilities are a little run down. Far from the main La Cinque Terre.

Review 51:The facilities were great, staff was friendly, room was spacious and clean. Within 5 minute walk of the beach.

Review 52:The road in was scary, I would recommend catch train to Moneglia.

Review 53:The location was really great. The village was quiet and great proximity to the train to vist Cinque Terre.

Review 54:a bit noisy from the train station, the relaxing area outside could be more clean. lot of leaves and dust around the pool area,

Review 55:Nice place, close to the beach and friedly staff

Review 56:The rooms were very outdated (but very clean I must say!). Wasn't aproblem though, bed was comfortable, and everything was as advertised.

Review 57:Great location, beautiful pool, great restaurant attached. Perfect for arelaxing stay at a beautiful beach town just north of Cinque Terre.

Review 58:It rained heavily which rather spoiled the experience. 6 euros to use the (empty) car park. No water in swimming pool (too cold to use it!). Very close to railway line - heavy trains through the night.

Review 59:Attractive seaside location. On site restaurant, friendly staff. Free bottle of bubbly waiting for us in our room! Rather delightful simple tourist hotel

Review 60:We stayed there and traveled to the Cinque Terre towns during the day. It was nice to be in such a great location that wasn't crowded with tourists. The staff was friendly, the room was amazing.

Review 62:There were a lot of bugs in our bathroom. It was disgusting.

Review 67:Breakfast Bathroom Cost of Room Noise of Railway

Review 68:Staff Pool Balcony Nearness to Beach

Review 69:a bit dated.

Review 70:nice swimming pool.

Review 71:They advertised as cinque terra, it was four train stops away. Thebreakbeat was terrible.

Review 72:The town was nice

Review 73:Inexpensive, still very nice. Not outstanding amenities but relaxing and convenient!
