Review 4：Absolutely everything. I have stayed in many villas on Sayan terrace but this has to be the best I know of. The Thai food in restaurant was superb. The staff helpful and so polite. The villa itself was just devine and well kept. The main pool a "must do" place to hang out beside the river, if you can drag yourself out of your villa. My new number 1 place to stay in all of Bali.

Review 9：The villa is located in a jungle. Its a fantastic location , but the problem is there are lot of lizards around. Thats not the problem. The problem is u might find them inside your room as well. We saw something like 20 lizards right from the entrance door to our villa pool to the entrance door of our villa. We found 3 or 4 lizards inside our villa , what pissed us off was that there was a big 15 cm lizard in our bath tub. My wife was scared of lizards hence we did not enjoy our stay at the villa. We had planned to stay at the villa for 3 nites. We saw a big lizard on the first night and called the butler.He came alone but on seeing the lizard he called 2 other people as he himself was scared. Finally the somehow caught it. On seeing another big one on the third day we checked out.The villa and the staff ate good , but if u dont like lizards please dont go.

Review 13：Our butler was a little over keen to get us to get involved in activities, when we were happy just to enjoy the surrounds. Ubud is great it has plenty of shops, restaurants etc. the complimentary shuttle was tops.

Review 14：My wife and I loved our villa and the pool was fantastic after a day out& later in the evening. Plus the bathroom just made us feel like we had all the peaceful luxury of a villa away from the hustle & bustle. Very private to so you get to really relax. The staff were fantastic, so helpful & our room magically was cleaned up every time we popped out. The restaurant breakfast is a must do. Looking out over the beautiful Unud jungle having a lovely breakfast, Wow just enjoy. The property's pool was marvelous, it felt like we were swimming in a river surrounded by all the nature. Really luxurious place to be and yet lots of natural beauty. The spa really topped off the stay. 1 hour of bliss my wife and I melted away with the wonderful masseuses while hearing Unuds sounds. Serenity comes to mind. We definitely recommend Kayumanis Villas & hope to be back next year.

Whilst the staff were really good, quite a few were 'inexperienced' in the detail - which is not a criticism - more an observation and if a t all critical is aimed at the staff who are doing the training - as the experience through the staff at these kind of hotels should be 'seamless' ...... I think my overarching comment (to the trainer) would be: "you need to teach (particularly the younger) staff members the nuances of detail and the expectations that guests travelling to these places might have - it is more than just being super friendly and polite" (the staff were ALL super friendly and polite)

Review 24：The Manager was unbelievably unfriendly and unprofessional. We arrived in Ubud at 9 p.m. with a young female friend who decided at the last minute to join us for the first night. She insisted that we have to pay 100$ per night for the friend. The booking.com page doesnt say this anywhere but she wouldnt allow us into the villa otherwise. There was plenty of room at the villa and the friend really wouldnt have been an issue. Instead the Manager gave me the option of sending the friend away (from a place in the middle of nowhere).. or for all of us to go away and find another place to stay for the night and not having any refund issued. The whole check-in process was a disaster.

Review 25：This is a beautiful place. Truly. Amazing villas - with outdoor living room, kitchen, bathroom, shower, etc. Absolutely gorgeous. Breakfast was the best I've had in Bali by far. Staff (most) were very friendly. The Spa was fantastic. All in all great quality every where. Would probably stay here again on my next visit to Ubud.

Review 33：The villas are truely incredible. Tucked down a stone drive in a small village you arrive to wonderful service and amazing facilities. We loved the open living pavilion and bathroom, the traditional shower and the private garden surroundings. The food was beautiful and the service faultless. Try the wet edge pool down overlooking the river.

Review 42：Being an avid traveler my husband and myself have been to many places but this hotel took our breath away. We were here from 19-23 December 2014 for our honeymoon and we are glad that we chose this place. From our welcome on the first day till the time we departed we were given utmost care and attention. We took a deluxe one bedroom villa which had a huge private swimming pool, living area, kitchen, bedroom, completely open bathroom (which was an awesome experience), free 30 mins massage and 24hr butler service. They pay great attention to details, may it be designing of the resort or service from the staff. Whenever we got back to the resort after spending the day out in the city the staff would welcome us by saying " welcome back home". Every person from the staff would greet you with "Bapak" and "Ibu" in most gentle and loving tone. Being vegetarians we have very few options when it comes to food but the kitchen staff was extremely cooperative and modified every dish to vegetarian which we wished to eat. We loved the strawberry marmalade at the hotel as it was made at the hotel itself with fresh strawberries and when we expressed this to the chef he packed us some marmalade as a gift when we were leaving from the hotel. Free breakfast and high tea were included in our room. You can order your breakfast in the room at any time of the day(may it be 9:00a.m or 5:00p.m) and high tea was served between 3:30p.m - 5:00p.m. I have never come across such great service anywhere in the hotel so far. Together with my husband we would strongly recommend Kayumanis for every one in all age groups visiting Bali. People who love nature, details and perfection, this is the place!

Review 43：Over priced, far from town, and poor infrastructure (shower head was like a 1 star hotel, did not drain, serious ant problem made the private pool difficult to enjoy, many holes in netting around bed making it not useful against bugs, and the list goes in). I expected ALOT more from a 4 star hotel with such high prices in Bali. I do not recommend it. Many improvements in infrastructure and layout of resort required to be worth it. Totally Disappointed.....

Review 56：Kayumanis Ubud, set in the midst of the Ubud forest, is both relaxing and luxurious. The villas are spacious and timeless. Yes, there are bugs and other animals (geckos & birds) but it did not bother us as we understand that the most of the space is open to the outdoors. Mosquitos were not a problem for us. You can choose to dine at the restaurant near the forest or in your villa. We had the balinese pork ribs for dinner and it was amazing! The butler service is very prompt. And all the staff are very friendly and helpful also, although our room wasn't ready during the check-in time, they arranged an alternative room for us. They can also offer tips on what to do for the day, they arranged a trip to Ubud centre and Como Shambala for us.

The aircon didn't keep the room very cool so we had to open the doors at night when we went to bed...but it was a whole new experience and I recommend turning the aircon off and open the doors when you go to bed...nature sounds amazing and it made my sleep so much better. (no worries about insects as there is a net around the bed which keeps all the nasties at bay) Somehow the only negative things I have to say actually became positive experiences..haha

Review 95：This is the best holiday accommodation we've ever stayed in. The ambience is so relaxing I didn't feel bored at all by doing nothing but lying down and listening to the birds sing, the water flow, the trees sway...the staff are amazing, they are very polite and efficient. Edi who showed us around the facility during check in did a great job and made us feel very welcomed. Another great thing about the villa is the spa...the view from the spa pavillions and the atmosphere made the whole experience so relaxing. Food at the restaurant is also fantastic!! The view from the restaurant is breathtaking. If you prefer to dine in your private villa, they will set up the table nicely with table cloth etc too. Now, about the villa itself, all I can say is WOW, WOW and WOW...I love the pool, the living room, the dining area, the bed, the outdoor shower (waterfall), the outdoor toilet, the outdoor bathtub, the bath gel (smells amazing and they sell them at 200,000 per bottle..worth buying!!), the Bose CD player with a few lounge CDs, free daily mini bar, free cookies, fruits, afternoon tea, mosquito repellent, fast wifi etc etc...the list goes on and on and the little details amazes me...you really can feel right at home. another thing worth saying is it was our honeymoon, dating anniversary and my wife's birthday all combined and they surprised us with cakes and all...I was so surprised and happy that they make their guests feel so special. I will give this place 20 out of 10 if I can!!

Review 108：Depending on your personal preference, the villa was too closed to "nature". There are quite a lot of bugs, lizard and frogs in the villa. Some animals, like cocks and frog also made quite abit of noise too. Both the public and private pool have some uncleaned fallen leaves, making us slighly reluctant to jump in. However, to be fair, close to nature is probably the key theme for this villa, it is up to you to choose base on what you are looking for. Restaurant choice is too narrow, there is arguably only one proper restaurant in the villa, while they do have anoth so called restuarant which I think it is only a pool side cafe.

Spa was excellent and it is one of the best spa I had ever been to. There were quite a number of freebies for, including, high tea, spa discount and free 30 mins massage. The villas were beautiful and the sound of running water from our pool was so relaxing. Breakfast was delicious and was served until 6pm! Perfect for us because we love to sleep in! The location was perfect! Absolutely amazing! Away from hustle and bustle but fairly close to the main street. We had a scooter, so it made it extremely quick and easy to zip around.
