Reviews for Hotel Feluca

Review 1:Breakfast was not particularly great though the coffee was very good.

Review 2:View from our room was great and we liked not being in Cinque Terra proper made for more relaxing evenings. Staff were helpful. Room was clean and though small updated.

Review 3:The matrasses of the beds were quite hard, even for someone like me who usually prefers that.

Review 4:The location is an absolute gem for all that want to see Cinque Terre without staying in the villages overcrowded with international tourists. Very nice town and also a good base for hiking in the area

Review 5:The people at the front desk did not speak English and were at times a bit unfriendly. The room was a bit of a disappointment for the amount of money spent...small, bed was not comfortable, no internet...and there was hair in the shower. The breakfast had lots of options including some savory ones...but it could do with some fresh fruit and vegetables versus canned fruit.

Review 6:The location is a bit further away from the more touristic towns but still close by train or hiking. The beach is very close to the hotel. The lady serving in the restaurant was so very friendly and willing to help! :)

Review 7:The facility was very clean and well kept. The staff, while not all fluent in English, were very kind, helpful and courteous. The language differences were not an issue as we were able to communicate easily. As others have stated, the WIFI is only available in the lobby and typically you had to request it to be turned on. However, once you see the view and spend a little time on the beach you won't want to spend any time in the lobby on the WIFI as the location is excellent. If you are looking for a respite from the rigors of life in the digital, global age, this is the location for you. A nice place to visit to get way from it all.

Review 8:Small town with all you need - extremely friendly staff - practical rooms - beach very close- you hear the eternal swish of the sea, while falling asleep at night

Review 9:The bed was a bit hard and the wifi access is limited.

Review 10:The staff are excellent, breakfast is amazing and the Hotel is in the heart of the town, a 5 minute walk from the train. Really a great place, the food and the whole town is stunning.

Review 11:Poor internet connection, only in common areas

Review 12:Excellent location, personnel extremely nice. we had a room with a balcony, with a great view to the sea. very comfortable.

Review 13:When booking hotel it was shown that internet wifi is free in area.but the truth is that we had to ask in reception and could only connect in reception area.

Review 14:Everything was fine.

Review 15:The view from our room was wonderful, with the sun setting over the sea at night. The sound of the waves as you slept was very soothing. The staff were very helpful, and Bonassola is a lovely, peaceful place to relax.

Review 16:It was a bit difficult to find the hotel,as the sign in the street showed the wrong direction. Some car-traffic in the parking lot in front of the balcony - just in the daytime, not really a problem.

Review 17:The friendly staff, nice, clean room and bathroom, balcony with a sea-view, free parking, wi-fi in the lobby, delicious breakfast. A nice small town with Italian family-life in the piazza, a nice beach two minutes away by foot.

Review 18:N/A

Review 19:Great support from staff and the locals, fantastic location.

Review 20:There is no elevator, nor parking specifically for the hotel. To get to Cinque Terre, trains from/to Bonassola are less frequent than from Levanto.

Review 21:Right on the beach, close to shops and restaurants. The water looked fine to me, but we didn't swim while there because it was raining. Staff was very nice, and although they did not speak much English this was not a problem. We brought a small travel bed for our then 2 month old and she slept happily in the hotel. There is a parking lot near the hotel (not free). Breakfast very good. Hotel was clean, comfortable. We liked Bonassola a lot, it's a cute little town but definitely quiet. We found it relaxing, but if you always want something to do then you may not like it.

Review 22:Breakfast could include standard dishes made of eggs: omelet, fried eggs or French toasts at least. All other varieties were tasty and fresh so lack of eggs was not critical

Review 23:Location is great, very close from the station and the beach at the same time so that car is not necessary. Very clean and nice hotel. New furniture and snow-white towels and bed-linens. Wifi is accessible on request.

Review 24:the shower cabinet was really small. a grown man would not fit inside. was unable to turn on the aircon. breakfast was not very good.

Review 25:location was good

Review 26:We don´t sleep late and breakfast doesn´t start until 8.30, a bit annoying. Forget internet if you are staying here. There is supposed to be wifi in the hotel, but it didn´t work for us. And if you do not like hard beds, at least the bed we had is not for you.

Review 27:Bonassola is perfect to stay in if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle in the more famous villages of 5 Terre. You can park the car in the village and get around with the train. As we were there pre-season, we could get a free parking space. The hotel itself is good standard, with a better-than-usual breakfast for Italy. We had a room with a small balcony, and as it is close to the sea, you fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Although it may not be essential when you are in this fantastic area, the TV had BBC World, not so common in Italy.

Review 28:Bonassola itself was like a ghost town. We walked down the main street once at 9pm and saw no one. There were only a few restaurants and a grocery store. The beach is also not protected like the Cinque Terre so you cannot go into the water. Luckily you can easily take the train to the other towns and because it is less well know it is a bit cheaper to stay.

Review 29:The hotel was extremely clean and well kept, and the staff was very friendly. We were traveling with my 89 year old grandmother and wanted to see the cinque terre but were worried they would be too difficult to get around for her. This hotel was perfect because we could park right in front of the hotel, and drive where we wanted.

Review 30:The mattress was uncomfortable for me.

Review 31:Super clean, great breakfast, accomodating & friendly staff, bicycles available, and a nice bathroom. Slept to the sounds of the waves.

Review 32:The signal of internet is very very weak even if you have your internet key.The same for telephone and TV. If for first two you can't complain to the staff ... for TV I think they can make something. But as it is in a valley, Bonassola, I think it is hard to have signal there. The parking managed by Comune is 8 euro/day and in festive days is 15 euro/day. For 1h is 1.50 euro and ... is hard to find a place in summer. For single room the shower is very narrow, in fact the whole bathroom, but compensates the room size. The walls are quite thin and you hear your neighbor in the bathroom or ... in room.

Review 33:The hotel is near to beach and the staff is very friendly. If you need something they help you. It is really nice if you go just to stay on the beach without extra fun in the evening.

Review 34:Rooms are quite small (especially toilettes). Using air-condition was almost impossible as ice-cold air waves blows over us. Fortunatelly, Bonassola is quiet place after 10 PM and there is no problem sleeping at open windows. Relatively expensive in comparison with some other hotels we stay in - but I can understand, that is seafront location in the high season! Parking in front of hotel doors was full, public parking normally isn't free (1,5 €/hour at daytime).

Review 35:Perfect location at sea, small and quiet, good breakfast. Rooms are clean and nice decorated. Public beach just across the parking area. Easy access by car, which is not common in the Cinque Terre area. Ideal for short stay at beautiful ligurian coast.

Review 36:no dinner - but out of high season

Review 37:friendly, quiet, easu fo sccess to the town and other local points of interest

Review 38:Poor wi fi connection. Twin beds joint as double, uncomfortable.

Review 39:Clean. good location, close to beach.
