Reviews for Giada

Review 1:Only two plates worked on the cooker and the key to the bathroom door didn´t work. My husband almost got locked in the bathroom.

Review 2:The owner was very friendly.

Review 3:We gave best score because we appreciate the staff , that was polite, supporting, helpful and treat us that we felt like at home. Thanks indeed! Great location, beach, clean and well equipped old fashioned apartment, seams like we're back in 70x. We enjoyed a lot. Nice place to go to Cinque Terre (by train)

Review 4:It is a bit noisy from the street and from the life going on on the streets - but it has its own flair. Parking is a bit away from the property - so you should be prepared for taking your luggage while parking for a while on the public parking and than take your car to the dedicated parking. Car is anyway not the best transportation mean in this area, rather train and ferries.

Review 5:Great location just on the sea side and in the centre of this small city, pretty close to shops and restaurants, 10 minutes' walk to the train station. Very helpful owners, kitchen well equipped, Wi-Fi in the room. Moneglia is a lovely city, (looks like the best option in this area) with real Italian spirit, which didn't go lost even with high number of tourists.

Review 6:The accommodations are very basic so don't have high expectations but they are clean and well kept.

Review 7:Loved loved loved my stay at Giada! Gorgeous, quiet and clean town. Hope to return for a longer stay someday.

Review 8:Air conditioning loud... And bathroom /furniture average at best. No elevator

Review 9:Nice staff and welcoming, and the flat convenient in cute old town (church's bell wake up)

Review 10:The staff is very friendly and helpful. Room clean and well equipped. The central location is perfect. Beach, restaurants and train nearby. Best pizza ever just a few steps away at Il Ciocco !!

Review 11:Franco was very welcoming. The place was so cute - very authentic and the village is a wonderful location to watch daily life away from the tourists. We asked for twin and it was no trouble for Franco opened our windows to views of the sea :)

Review 12:Very firm beds.

Review 13:Very nice small town with easy access to the Cinque Terra. Proprietor was very helpful and personable. Lots of pride of ownership evident. Easy access to the beach with nice terrace overlooking the beach.

Review 14:There were a lot of dead gnats on the floor that kept piling up day after day. Also there is not daily housekeeping.

Review 15:Location is great, Franco at the front desk is very helpful, free beach towels, and ocean views!

Review 16:I had a Wonderful appartment overlooking the beach. Perfect facilities for preparing own meals and also within very close distance to eateries (Moneglia is tiny). Plenty of little grocery stores nearby. A casual stroll to and from the train station for exploring the Cinque Terre. Wifi got a bit slow, I'm guessing at busier hours... The host was wonderful and stayed available a little bit longer for me as my trains were running late.

Review 17:We loved the apartment style of this property. It was beautiful inside and out. There was an amazing deck with tables and chairs right across the road from the water where we had lunch and marveled at the beauty of the village. The church bells sounded amazing through the many open windows. The hosts were extremely nice and welcoming. We will definitely return in the future!

Review 18:I found that the bed was a wee bit hard, my husband liked the hard bed!!!

Review 19:we had such a nice stay, the staff were wonderful and the rooms were perfectly clean, thank good we choose not to stay in the Cinque Terre!!!! it was mobbed...

Review 20:Great location, nice clean self contained apartment. Close to beach and restaurants and bars. Moneglia -Cinque Terra is 5-10 minutes by train. I'm glad we stayed away from the 5 villages and away from the crowds.

Review 21:Il y avait des travaux dans la rue en face donc un peu bruyant durant le jour. Mais les travaux devraient etre fini tres bientot. Bruyant cote ruelle mais les fenetre sont tres etanches.

Review 22:L'acceuil du personel

Review 23:I did not figure out that there was a need to activate the boiler in advance. It took a while before being able to use the shower.

Review 24:The room had a ocean view, yet not so far from the train station. There was a nice restaurant with feel-at-home design and personal service nearby.

Review 25:Extra was charged for sheets and towels (Euro6 a night) which we did notice after we had booked but Giada was so reasonably priced we did not mind. Just something to be aware of.

Review 26:With a few days to spare after visiting Tuscany we happened on Moneglia and Giada. What a piece of luck - the highlight of our trip. Close to Cinque Terra but in April completely uncrowded, friendly staff, beautiful view of beach which was just across the road, a fully equipped apartment if you felt like cooking but minutes to cafes and restaurants. 10 minutes to railway station. Almost too good to share!

Review 27:Walking distance to beach, station, shops, restaurants and shops. Lots of different size apartments to suit our group of 10 ladies. Friendliness of staff. Comfortable apartment with all basic necesseties for a self catering holiday.

Review 28:I didn't know that one switch turned off the water heater.

Review 29:Staff members were friendly and accommodating. They were able to alter our reservations even though after the deadline. The place is great. I will stay there again.

Review 30:Loved the location,10 min walk to train station, 20 mins on train to cinque terre, beautiful friendly little village off the main tourist track, ocean right outside bedroom window. Everyone says no problems & and that sums it up, nothing is a problem. Highly recommend.

Review 31:Wifi was a bit weak, but this is really nitpicking, the place is fantastic.

Review 32:We messed up our booking, the staff were so friendly and helpful they changed everything for us (without making us pay extra as was in the terms and conditions). Great site close to the beach and many fantastic restaurants. I would highly recommend this place.

Review 33:The wifi didn't reach our room so we had to sit in the corridor next to the modem. The reception desk is usually empty

Review 34:Rita was a legend, she washed and cleaned our clothes for us and even with the language barrier tried her best to help us. Good location and nice and quiet.

Review 35:WiFi was slightly in and out but a computer was available at the front desk.

Review 36:This place could be my home. It is beautiful, quiet, and the people are so friendly!! Literally across the street from the beach! Gorgeous views and easy access to Cinque Terre and La Spezia which will take you any place you want to go! It is a hidden gem. I will return and stay for at least a month! We had 5 adults in a one bedroom. The bunks were actually quite comfortable. It was a little crowded at night but for the price it was worth it!!

Review 37:Just a notice to the people drive there, the tunnel on the 2 side of the town is one way with traffic light, please be patient to wait until green light!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review 38:nice hotel, with great location, near to the train station, so you can stay here with a cheap price and easy go to visit cinque terre by train.

Review 39:The bed and pillows were a bit hard for our taste. Everything else was good - great value for money.

Review 40:Very convenient to the station - train into any of the Cinque Terre villages. Lovely view and always a breeze. The kitchen was very well equipped for people to cook in the apartment.

Review 41:Отличное месторасположение - до моря, равно как и до всего остального, рукой подать. Номера отлично укомплектованы, у нас не было никаких замечаний. Хозяин апартаментов Франко оказал очень радушный прием и во всем помог.

Review 42:No view in our apartment, no patio to sit on.

Review 43:location, right in the town square, very close to the beach and lots of restaurants and shops. Easy train ride to cinque-terre.

Review 44:Great location, nice and helpful staff. Comfortable and clean apartement, free private parking. Moneglia is an amazing little town, with great restaurants and beautiful beaches.

Review 45:Not much.

Review 46:Really lovely atmosphere provided by welcoming staff. Very central location - literally seconds from the beach - and good apartment with spacious balcony at very reasonable price.

Review 47:the wifi is really weak, and we live in the four person room, one is sofa bed which is really small and uncomfortable. And the blanket is not warm enough.

Review 48:This place is amazing, better than cinque terre cause there already been commercial too much, is too crowded .Moneglia is much better. Is really quite, and the people here is friendly. Especially the reception person who was a nice old guy, teach us how to use the wash machine and send us to the train station.

Review 49:The Wi-Fi needs to be updated. It was very slow and sometimes not accessible on the top floor.

Review 50:We loved talking with The owner everyday. He was so helpful. The location was fantastic- very close to the beach and close to coffee shops etc. Mongolia is a beautiful little gem.

Review 51:Everything about Giada was very nice: nice staff, clean place, and very convenient. The town of Moneglia is a much better place from where to plan a visit to Cinque Terre, specially if one is driving (which we were), because access is easier. Also, the town has much fewer visitors, and so it provides for a nice counterpart to the crowds in the towns of Cinque Terre.

Review 52:Super location, across the street from the beach. Walk to restaurants. Ten minute walk from train station. Full size bed plus pull out bed. Our most spacious room for the price in Italy. Nice AC for late afternoon.

Review 53:Cleaning is so so.

Review 67:Towels so thin not so absorb

Review 68:Good location

Review 69:No towels Very loud outside at a cafe all hours of the night

Review 92:Location Friendly owner

Review 93:The owner is kind and helpful! The hotel ha a great location and views!

Review 94:Was not clean, very uncomfortable, did not like moneglia, ants in room all over, outdated linens, will NOT return

Review 95:The staff was friendly, and went out of their way to be helpful to our family. The hotel is very clean and all our needs were provided for. We had a wonderful time in Moniglia walking, relaxing on the beach and enjoying the amazing food in this town. Highly recommend for Giada for an excellent value.

Review 96:- Pictures are very much misleading the clients - Not every rooms has balcony - Towels are not refreshed every day - Bathroom is not cleaned every day - Single bed was very small for a 3th adult - Rooms on 3th floor have no good views and small windows - Towels are very thin and not real towels.

Review 97:- Internet was connecting well -

Review 98:The internet router was on the first floor and the main living area was on the second. In order to get half decent internet service, we had to sit on the stairs.

Review 99:The location was great, right by the beach, and close to the train station making travel to Cinque Terre VERY easy. Tons of restaurants and shops very close by.

Review 100:The friendliness we found at this little hidden city was amazing ! And to be honest we haven't even spent too much time in cinque terre!!! We preferred to stay as much as possible in moneglia! Giada is extremely well located for that and you wake up overlooking the ocean! Really nice

Review 101:We had a lovely stay with a beautiful view and ample space. It was situated across from the beach in a very quiet town and it was exactly what we needed. Definitely value for money and a lovely surprise.

Review 102:Washing machine was kind of confusing, although that may have been due to the language barrier.

Review 103:The kitchen and balcony were great additions to the room. There was lots of space even for six of us being in one room. It was easy to commute to cinque terre but was perfect if you just wanted to lay on the beach.

Review 104:This place and people were brilliant could not have been more helpful and a lovely spot to stay and rest and then visit different parts of the cinque terra region would recommend this place to every one we will go back for sure

Review 105:Lovely little town, you can leave your car there (parking is free) take a train to the 5 villages and enjoy the town less touristic atmosphere when you return. The apartment is nice, not fancy - but does the trick.

Review 106:Our stay was amazing. Lovely hosts, close to amenities, in a beautiful setting - sleepy little seaside town. The price was incredible for the experience we had! No complaints.

Review 107:We stayed here for two nights in May 2014. The location was excellent. Its a seven minute walk to train station with trains stopping at all villages on the way to La Spezia. Parking available for free with the owners..they will direct you to their carpark. A lovely Sunday Market on the prom and not as touristy as the villages in Cinqueterra. Very helpful owners who posted a jacket my daughter had left in reception. Overall a great place to stay.

Review 108:Our room had a balcony overlooking the ocean. It was a beautiful way to end our trip. The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was very nice and clean.

Review 109:Nothing to complain.

Review 110:The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and in good condition. The location is in thecenter of the village close to the beach. A very good place to stay in Moneglia

Review 111:Rather cramped living room - no sofa, just two armchairs. And access to the town can be difficult via the tunnels - but that's not their fault!

Review 112:A generous terrace with our room, with sea view. Very pleasant welcome from the owners.

Review 113:It took a few moments to find Giada, but when we did we were very pleased with the welcome and the apartment that we had booked, which was perfect for our holiday. The apartment was clean, well located and Franco and his team were very responsive to ensuring that we enjoyed our stay, We will certainly consider Giada if we are visiting Moneglia again and tell our friends.
