Reviews for St Helens Country Cottages
Review 1:Nothing to not like, except the heat, which was NOT the fault of the owners.
Review 2:We enjoyed the Friday "Happy Hour" with the owners and another couple staying in another cottage. The breakfast provisions were very satisfactory and the cottages are close to all the must-see and do's in and near Clare.
Review 3:I did not realise that the suite is attached to the home it is more a bnb feel. Which is fine as Russel and Carol are great just unexpected.
Review 4:Russel and Carol are great hosts very accommodating to all requests.
Review 5:An excellent location, beautiful décor great facilities, clean and very well stocked with food , drinks and toiletries. Overall a very nice experience.
Review 6:None
Review 7:We stayed in the Coach House and it was very comfortable and well furnished. Plenty of breakfast supplies made for an enjoyable stay. Carol and Russell were excellent hosts.
Review 8:We spent two nights at St Helen's Cottages in March, 2015. Located on the Riesling Trail the cottages provide an excellent location to explore the Clare Valley. Our cottage was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast supplies provided (eggs, bacon, cereal, coffee, bread, jams) more than adequate. We thoroughly enjoyed our all too brief stay and can highly recommend St Helen's cottages to others.

Review 14:The spaciousness of the bedroom and lounge area was fantastic. Breakfast was most adequate and enjoyable. Access via road was easy and the atmosphere was friendly and pleasant.
Review 15:Two nights was not enough.
Review 16:A great location with beautiful surroundings compliment this cozy and comfortable cottage perfectly. Relax and recharge by the fire or in the spa or get energetic with a ride on the Reisling Trail, visit nearby cellar doors and sample the great local food, your options are endless.
Review 17:We thought that the cottages are a bit tired and jaded and need some refurbishing. Breakfast could have been better. Supplying local produce i.e. fresh baked bread from a bakery and local bacon and eggs rather than from a supermarket are those little extra touches that stand out when comparing other B&B's.
Review 18:We liked the location of the cottages as they are located in a quite street within walking distance to a winery and Artisans Table Restaurant and are not too far from the township of Clare. The hosts are friendly too.
Review 19:The spa motor needs to be replaced. Past it's used by date. Spa itself is big roomy and very comfortable. The motor doesn't fire up every time.
Review 20:Home cooked breakfasts were great. Nice big rooms and period furniture. Wine, port and chocolates were a lovely touch. Hosts Russell and Carol are lovely.
