Review 1：A bit far from the center of Ubud but shuttle is available. However it can be an advantage as you feel totally immersed in the nature during your stay in this hotel.

Komaneka staff was more than helpful in arranging transportation from and to Denpasar airport and private daily trips in and around Ubud. Communication was timely and thorough. I believe the staff put in an extra effort to make their stay perfect helping them to arrange their movements and suggesting and booking restaurants for them. 11/10 for te staff As for the resort itself, there is no doubt about the absolute beauty and tranquillity surrounding the hotel. Their spacious suites with private pools will satisfy even the most romantic among you. 10/10 Enjoy!

Review 26：It was the best hotel I've ever stayed in. A perfect stay from the beginning. The staff were genuinely helpful. It was my Birthday during my stay and they brought me a cake and sang to me at breakfast. There was a helpful free shuttle service into the centre of Ubud. The best thing for me was the view of the nature from the infinity pool.

Review 27：The staff at the reception is good but they wouldn't exceed expectations in terms of excellence of service. On our second night we decided to have dinner outside the hotel and we asked for a taxi booking for our return. The taxi never arrived and after 30-mins wait we decided to call back the hotel. They never explained the reason and we felt that they simply forgot our request. We had to take a taxi from the street and they paid it at the reception to compensate for their mistake. They were good but we didn't really trust them after this event.

Review 28：The infinity pool of the hotel is amazing and a great place to relax. The hotel location is convenient for getting around in Ubud and the hotel offers a shuttle bus which goes to the center quit often (every 10-15 mins). We would highly recommend the hotel restaurant if you'd like to relax at the hotel for a full day.The food was very good and among the best we had at Ubud and the service very polite and on time! The hotel offers lots of activities as well and there is a souvenir shop in place that has a very good collection of Balinese things.

Review 29：Mattress could do with replacement. Showing signs of wear and tear. Would prefer if garden gate could be locked by guest when they are not in the room. Night light needed in garden for when you return and is dark. Getting the key into the room door lock is not easy if it's dark. Shuttle service to Ubub was unreliable.

Review 78：Our suite was on the bottom floor and shaded by the suite above us which made the pool quite cold, especially since it was during the rainy season. Note a major "problem"- the experience was still lovely- but we would have preferred a suite with more sun.

The bathroom amenities - shower gel, shampoo, conditioner were terrible - little refillable plastic containers that they just kept refilling - old and all the guests before us would have used the same containers. No bar in the hotel to get a drink. Furniture in the room looked about 20 years old. Lots of cables out of the back of the TV cabinet. Terrible Wifi. Had a look at the valley pool Villa - better but still dated. The Premier Valley Pool Villa was really nice - but if you are not prepared to pay the price - probably skip the hotel altogether. Sorry! $285 per night for the Suite - not worth it. We were offered the Valley Pool Villa for an additional $45us per night - but after looking at the room - not worth it either.

Review 100：these are only minor negative comments, we really appreciated our staying, .. it was not far to "perfection" .. - in the bungalow we had, toilet is not fully separated from the bedroom, only separated by a door but not roof and not a direct window or Air vacuum for toilet, ie when you go to toilets, the other person in the bungalow will “smell” it .. It did not bother us, but let’s say that I might be quite uncomfortable, especially those who are not couple. After all, may be that they have other bungalows for non-couple people who avoided this problem. - The Hotel being in the heart of the forest, at the night it became a fantastic free Zoo outside of the bungalow .. A lot of frogs, insects, lizard, Gecko, … I loved it, but it may be uncomfortable for some others ... Clearly, if you don’t stand with insects, don’t go to Bali, especially Ubud and Forest valleys

Review 101：We recommend this luxury hotel, We appreciated our staying and especially the attentive services provided by the team of the hotel Positive things - Location : in full forest, bungalows are made in a way that you really fell being alone with the forest without feeling the other bunglows. - Free shuttle to center Ubud are very useful (1 every hour, the last one being at 10pm) - Three swimming pools (with two infinity pools having a wonderful sight on forest and on rice terrace) - Bungalows are done in a colonial style, with wood roof, very charming - The restaurant has interntional menu and indonesian menu. Looking for discoveries, I took always meals in the indonesian one, it was always tasty and very good (one of my best was pumpkin soup, gulig with rice, rice pudding as dessert and so many others …) - Spa and Massage service was nice (we took the one of 90 minutes for 70 USD) - the hotel is huge, you can spend the whole day there relaxin, forgetting even Ubud ..

Komaneka is not in the centre of Ubud but the resort conveniently provides daily trips - a drop off and pickup service every hour to the centre of Ubud and surrounds. I loved that it was secluded and you were surrounded by forest and rice fields. We stayed four nights in the Premiere Pool Villa and it was pure delight. Its luxury without pretentiousness. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Can't wait to go back.

Review 115：We stayed here when celebrating our 10-year anniversary. All I can say is WOW. The grounds of the resort are just so beautiful. The staff are wonderful. Breakfast was amazing. We loved our private pool and the Apple TV was so nice during the late day rains. The shuttle was really useful. We had a great time.
