Reviews for B&B Montebello
Review 1：you can only use the pool at certain times (which is fine for explorers, but I know some would like to lounge by the pool all day), no mosquito 'net/barrier' by the windows and no huuuuge biggy, but the family live there too, and on a couple of occasions the teenagers were around which = loud music and frivolous playing around next to the pool (can imagine this would not be the best for families with young children).
Review 2：Truly excellent place. The location of the B&B is perfect, right next to the mountains and a 15 minute walk from some shops and bars, whilst only a 25 minute walk to the lake and main town. Spectacular views, perfect continental breakfast, free wifi, private parking, spacious and comfortable rooms. I'd especially like to mention the attention and welcoming attitude of the owners, especially Lilo (Raphael). Helpful in every sense of the word and is always available if you have any requirements, questions etc.
Review 3：There were a lot of rools in the common areas and pool. There were also rools that were not told to us when we arrived and the owner was very rude and disrespectful to us when we cooked pasta and didn't know we were not allowed to use the stovetop. After this incident the owner started to cut grass next to us when we were eating our dinner. Although the owners were nice and helpful for the most part, this was unexeptable.

Review 6：This was a fantastic place! The owner was top class and couldn't do enough for us. Very friendly, gave us lifts into Lecco free of charge to save us getting taxis (bit of a walk into town). Rooms lovely, great pool and fantastic views over Lecco and the lake. Brilliant value for money. Just wished we had stayed longer!
Review 7：Price way to high for the service. No remote control for the TV, breakfast items still in plastic package, self service coffee in plastic cups, no curtains nor blinds in the room, and no bedside lamp.
Review 8：Nice to have a swimming pool but you can't use it between 12:00 and 15:30. Host is nice and helpful.
Review 9：This B&B is located in a great spot with an overview to the city and lake. It is close to some high point (monte San Martino,ect). So possible to do a nice short hike in the morning and then jump in the pool. The place is great for relaxing and staying by the pool and enjoying the surrounding mountains.
Review 10：Too hot . room no - air conditioning (temperatures of 36degrees + and they onlybought fans when we offered to re nt some. At first given single size room with two beds in .Changed it to disabled room after we complained. Not disabled but was at least larger. Pool dangerous with no hand rail- Into pool and very slippery surround - 3 of party slipped over - no life saver ring. . No hot water to shower or wash hair. Beds not made bathrooms not cleaned. No pool towels supplied had to use same towels, as flying had not brought any. A small charge for some would have been acceptable. We were a large wedding party with 5 rooms. Only under roof rooms had air conditioning. Because of location far away from the centre and buses ,car essential, which we got. Owner did give us an occasional lift. Security high and codes necessary if returning after about 10pm. Not told about fitness room. Told not to use too much toilet paper.

Review 13：We loved the calm elegant villa setting in incredible proximity to breathtaking mountains and the lake views. The owners are very helpful and friendly. My children loved petting the donkeys each morning and on another more summery stay they would surely love the pool. The rooms and breakfast area have just been renovated and everything is very tasteful, modern and extremely clean. It is also great value for money.
Review 14：You can feel the authentic Italian style: peacefull, drinking coffee enjoying the lake view. High cleaning standards and very kind owners! I will recommend it.
Review 15：Very comfortable modern room with a stunning view of the Lake and Mountains. Large grounds, beautifully kept. Quiet and secluded. I slept with the drapes open so I could enjoy the view every last moment I was awake.

Review 19：The service was extra ordinary. The owners are a very nice and dedicated couple, aiming to please every one of their visitors. Raphaello is the sweetest and gives lots of tips on places to visit. The house is beautiful and the rooms very modern. Beautiful view over the Como lake and close to the mountains. All is very clean and the pool is situated in a wonderful garden overlooking Como. Very safe area which is closed by a gate with its own code. We couldn't have felt more at home.

Review 21：The breakfast is typical sweet pastry Italian fare. He does try andEuropean it with cold meats and cheese, but it is not outstanding. Youcan't use the pool if he is not there.
Review 22：This is a fantastic b&b with amazing views. The owner is absolutelysuperb, despite our communication struggles, when our daughter'sairbed pump broke he fixed it, despite having to get his soldering ironout and mend the electric! Truly superb and thoroughly recommended.

At the given address there were easy to see direction signs (maybe the owner put them because of those feedbacks)
