Reviews for Hotel Olivo
Review 1:Small room charge for baby bed. Staff don't speak English. Air conditioning stopped working in the middle of the night so we had to open the 1x1(bearly] balcony.
Review 2:Location
Review 3:I was travelling alone and at breakfast the female waitress told me: I have prepared a place for you in the corner! (I was unsure if she meant to punish me)
Review 4:I go to this hotel every year and I am never disappointed: very helpful staff; convenient location; healthy breakfast; relaxed atmosphere. The managers are very nice. I also like the hotel's dog.
Review 5:Perfectly situated in the center! Free parking eather open air or garage and cage for locking away bicycles ... Stuff is very friendly and charming ! Not our first and definitly not our last stay at olivos!
Review 6:Heat sensor in the room did not working well and I felt cold. I had to use extra blanket but next day it was disappeared. Color TV was too old to show correct colors.
Review 7:Quiet location, kind staffs
Review 8:Hotel Olive is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Arco. There is a long path leading up to the entrance which gives it an aristocratic touch. Next to the entrance a wonderful olive tree stretches itself out to greet the guests. When leaving the hotel one is immediately captured by the scenery with Arco's medieval castle opposite the hotel in the distance. This image alone is worth choosing Hotel Olivo. The atmosphere in the hall and restaurant is always warm and welcoming. The staff is very communicative and helpful. The hotel director sets the tone with his highly professional standards, impeccable discretion, and communication powers. And so is his youngest son working with him at the reception and restaurant. The guests enjoy the warm professional attention they receive during their stay. There is always a pleasant conversation to engage with in the hall. No one feels lost or alone, everyone is looked after. The food is outstanding, both for lunch and dinner. And the breakfast buffet is so rich and well presented to make one wish for nothing else. It is also well set with the big window and their elegant blinds behind the buffet tables. The staff here is as professional and caring as one can expect from an Italian hotel. The room service is as outstanding with clean towels changed every day and faultless bad and floor. As a whole, Hotel Olivo is a place where guests can restore their body and soul.
Review 9:The Hotel is very clean and there is attention to detail but I feel this hotel deserves to be updated to a more contemporary look which would suit it well. (it's a bit peachy and chintzy, 1990s for me)
Review 10:After a long journey we were greeted by the friendliest staff who, realising we were sisters, immediately upgraded our room. There are gentle stone stairs but also a lift for the tired or infirm. our room had a small balcony with stunning views of the Dolomites but not, unfortunately, the amazing medieval castle on the mountain. We had a hairdryer, fridge and air conditioning with our marbled ensuite showeroom which was equipped with local Olive OIl Handwash and shaving mirror and electrical point. There's also a safe for your valuables. The beds are very comfy and there's little or no traffic noise. It is excellently placed in the village next to the fountain and tourist information office (also very friendly staff). The Via Roma is one way but a lovely tree-lined cobbled street. There's also a Gelataria across the street. The food was very good (wine is a bit pricey). the continental breakfast with fresh coffee and freshly baked pastries was also very good. (they have a range of specialty teas for those so inclined). On our last morning the manager was SO helpful with driving directions and advice for us to the airport. Overall one of the best I've stayed in so far in Europe.
Review 11:Organic and healthy food. Car parking
Review 12:TV quality was terrible
Review 13:very friendly people, good parking, breakfast ok
Review 14:Bad bed and worse Wi-Fi, NOT available in room
Review 15:very poor / no internet connection
Review 16:a nice place, good service
Review 17:I did not like the fact that it doesn't have Wifi and Room Service.
Review 18:The receptionist was great and he did anything he could to make the guests happy. The hotel is very nice and the location is great because it is in walkable dstance from the historical centre of Arco and very close to restaurants.
Review 19:We were happy enough with the room and the staff we met, but we arrived very late at night and left the next morning so it was really too short a time to comment
Review 20:If we ever returned to this hotel again, we would if possible request a room fronting the side road (entrance to the Hotel from the car park) rather than be given a room at the rear, because if you wanted to sleep with the window open then one would get early morning traffic noises. Having said that we had a nice view from the 3rd floor.
Review 21:We arrived late evening to the Hotel Olivo, having driven from England, but we still managed to have a walk, and found a little open-air bar on the edge of the park only a short distance from the hotel. Next day in glorious sun-shine we realised how local it was to other amenities. The hotel is very well kept considering the age.
