Review 1:Nothing...
Review 2:We had two wonderful nights, this B&B is located in a very nice place with a great view. Very nice work with the sheepdogs, amazing.Thank you so much.
Review 3:This is more for information, and a note for other travellers . Card payment facilities aren't available, cash only. It was fine for us as Martina met us at the bank in Donegal town.
Review 4:Great hospitality and wonderful views of the mountains. Good breakfast and coffee. Really enjoyed the sheep dog trial performance!
Review 5:For me, the location was perfect, with beautiful scenery to look out on. On the morning of my departure, I was able to watch the dogs herding the farm's sheep. Very friendly owners with a beautiful B&B... fantastic cook come breakfast time too (Excellent home made brown bread which I couldn't get enough of)!
Review 6:We had a great stay, but the hill up to the house was a bit steep for us on bikes but well worth the effort.
Review 7:We were immediately welcomed and shown our rooms, offer tea and assistance in a choice of places for our evening meal. The table was reserved for us in the best restaurant, and a taxi ordered. Super friendly and helpful stay.
Review 8:Peaceful position in the country, but only five minutes in the car from charming Donegal. Comfortable room for three. Nice breakfast and good advice from the owner.
Review 9:Thank you Martina and Patsy for making us so welcome in your beautiful home. Martina is the perfect hostess and the hospitality shown to us during our stay was amazing and very much appreciated. The breath taking view of the Blue Stack mountain’s from the breakfast room was more than matched by the breakfast provided by Martina. The room was spotless and cosy. Drumcorroy may be officially listed as three star accommodation but in our opinion it merits 5 stars. We look forward to returning and definitely recommend the Drumcorroy Farmhouse B&B to anyone visiting Donegal.
Review 10:Got an upgrade as a better room was not used that evening. Host asked what we would like for breakfast and we got next day a full irish breakfast included.
Review 11:I brought my GPS from Canada, loaded with European maps, but, I had a bit of difficulty locating the place.
Review 12:Everything was great. We spent some time the following day watching the owner train some of his Border Collies.
Review 13:Nothing bad to report. Just keep in mind that it's a farm, locatedin the countryside: you need to move by car to get to Donegal town (only10 minutes drive anyway).
Review 14:We spent 3 nights at Drumcorroy Farmhouse and we were totally satisfied.Great Irish breakfast (scrambled eggs with salmon also available), freesheep-dog demonstration, beautiful location and a perfect room withevery comfort (hairdryer, iron and ironing board, kettle, coffe and tea,tv...). Shared bathroom with bathtub. The staff was welcoming and verynice. Not to be missed for an authentic Irish experience.
Review 15:The warm greeting as my daughter and I walked into the door was lovely after a long day of travel. Breakfast was very relaxing with a beautiful view of the hills and the hostess went the extra mile and put in some washing for us. Very warm stay.
Review 16:Doors closing and opening very early in the morning.....but we were early risers that day willingly there was so much to do and see
Review 17:Martina was friendly and helpful when we had trouble finding the farm
Review 18:This is well marked with signs which is required as there is no street name as yet and hence need to know where the turn offs are. There are no lights in the streets.
Review 19:Lovely quiet area with great views of the hills. Host looked after you and enjoys a laugh. Do ask for the turn off directions on the highway.
Review 20:Beautiful quiet location with amazing views. we enjoyed seeing the sheep dogs work, and my children loved having Tara the horse to pat, the kitten to play with and taking the dog for a walk. Martina and Patsy made us all very welcome, gave us lots of local advice, and were very kind to our girls. Breakfast was great, we enjoyed the quiet of staying away from the town.
Review 21:Not being able to pay by Debit Card.I had to drive into Donegal and find a ATM to get the cash to pay for our stay on the morning of our departure
Review 22:warm and friendly welcome
Review 23:If you want to stay close to town this is s little bit outside of town, but I liked it.
Review 24:Martina was friendly and welcoming. She shows a pride in her home and in County Donegal. She pointed out the Bluestack Mountains, showed off her family, offered me a personal connection for a restaurant in another town and discount coupons for places in Donegal. I appreciated her care for each of us staying.
Review 25:It is a bit far from things.
Review 26:It was nice and quiet. Comfortable rooms, nice breakfast. Amazing views and a very exact proprietor. She was very nice, but she was a business owner. Including she told me were to sit for breakfast, at first I was a little confused as I was the only one eating and one of a few in the house, turns out she had me sit in the seat with the best view, but she didn't tell me that she just put my tea at the seat she wanted me to sit at rather than the seat I had sat in. Just remember that you are on a farm that has cows and sheep.
Review 27:There is nothing to improve as this B&B is excellent.
Review 28:Very friendly lady who made us feel so much at home. The room and breakfast in the conservatory was excellent. Located in a beautiful aspect close to Donegal.
Review 29:couldn`t stay longer.
Review 30:location, just far enough outside the town , but only 5 min drive to bars etc, breakfast was superb, rooms spotless, couldn`t fault Martina at all .
Review 31:Everything was wonderful.
Review 32:I can't say enough how much we enjoyed our all-too-brief stay. The location is spectacular - a beautiful, actual working farm set against a backdrop of impossibly green fields and mountains - and no more than 10 mins from Donegal Town. The house itself is beautiful and inviting, with a lovely common area for guests to relax in. We loved our room, which was impeccable and featured a really comfortable bed and perfect shower. The wifi worked well - always an important point! But what we appreciated most of all was the warm welcome and willingness to accommodate. Martina and Patsy are incredibly gracious hosts. We especially loved watching the sheepdog demonstration - a real treat for city slickers. Patsy was kind enough to give us a special demo because we had missed the regularly-scheduled morning demo. Would love to come back here and spend more time. A really lovely experience.
Review 33:The place is run by the nicest ever landlady and her husband. It's really clean and pleasant. It has the most beautiful view of glorious mountains surrounding the house. My stay there was not only relaxing and pleasant. Martina and Patsy took care of providing some entertainment. Anyone visiting Donegal should go and see... Happy place to stay for the weekend or a couple more days.
