Reviews for Hotel Ristorante Reale

Review 1:a little bit noisy as the room was above a road in the piazza - but the view was more interesting - walls quite thin but earplugs can be useful!

Review 2:Location, faded charm - friendly staff - convenient and decent quality restaurant

Review 3:Poor service air conditioning broken but did get fixed eventually Breakfast very disappointing. The waiter ignored us for 20 mins and had to be asked for coffee, which was grudgingly brought and "plonked" on table. Reception seemed un-interested in our stay and there was a general air of "whatever" which diminished its once great splendour. Dinner was poorly cooked in very old cooking oil and this was definitely not good value for money

Review 4:Location Size of rooms

Review 5:Very limited breakfast

Review 6:The receptionist and cleaner were pleasant and helpful

Review 7:WiFi went out more than once

Review 8:Vert accomidating

Review 9:Ventilation motor of the kitchen all the night from the roof. Wifi inoperating from 6pm to 10am next day, no staff to help.

Review 10:Toilet flush in the room didn't work..room changed Bed side light wouldn't work and had to be held down with the room key Breakfast appalling The whole feel of the place was as if no one cared...

Review 11:Greeted by a two-story scafolding taking up most of lobby. Only people present were workmen. Rooms were large but well worn and not very clean. Bed pillows were literally hard as rocks. Construction noise outside the building began by 7am and continued until about 4 pm with a break for lunch. The accommodations did not meet our expectations at all.

Review 12:Good location in city center.

Review 13:Sometimes the WiFi is iffy

Review 14:This is the third time I have stayed here, and this time the internet worked in the room. The staff is pleasant, and they made me a bag with several small sandwiches when I missed the breakfast. I returned to the hotel well after midnight, and they were still very welcoming. They are an easy 10 minute walk to the train station, and on Saturday mornings (and I believe Wednesday mornings), there is large market in the piazza outside the hotel (that is usually a large parking lot). I will stay there again when I return to Asti.

Review 15:Convienently located in the center of Asti. Breakfast was OK Wuro style. Good rate in advance. Room was large and clean. Receptionist hooked me up with some ice. Nice little place. 'Rustic'.

Review 16:Slow service in restaurant with very long wait for ordered food.

Review 17:We only stayed one night at the Reale whilst on a road trip. We chose it for its location and parking. Hotel reserved parking places are very limited but we were lucky to find one. There is an air of faded grandure about the Reale but it was OK for a night's stay. We ate in their restaurant which was OK but nothing special. Good breakfast.

Review 18:Very noisy at night Sunday staff did not speak any English at all.

Review 19:Ideal location for an overnight stay between Italy and France

Review 20:Noisy and too hot

Review 21:Easy to walk to centre of town. Friendly reception.

Review 22:The room allocated to my son was rather shabby and smelled of smoke. Staff were polite but, with one exception, a bit on the cold side.

Review 23:Location

Review 24:It was a really nice, smart hotel in a superb situation from which to visit the city
