Review 1：Great location, sea-views, close to Levante (20min walk), close to cinque terre, far from touristic rush. Steep slopes, down to beach and up back home, prepare, you're in mountains!

Review 2：My only negative would be that I found out the hard way that you need a key to open the gate to access the trail/tunnel to Levanto. I did enjoy the extra 25 minutes it took me to walk to Bonasollo and up the mountain road to get back to the resort - no harm done.

Review 3：The resort is well situated to easily access Bonasollo, Levanto and the Cinque Terre villages. We were two couples who rented a 2 bedroom house for 3 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed the views while sitting on our balcony. We picked up groceries in Levanto and ate al fresco for two nights. Within a 15 minute walk to Levanto or a 10 minute drive - we found it a great base to explore Cinque Terre. Negative comments by other reviewers about the hike or long walks involved from one end of resort to the other must be taken with a grain of salt. Hiking this region is while most people visit it. The house was clean, well equipped for our needs. We did not use the restaurant or pool - cannot comment on these facilities. We did visit the beach - very private and secluded. Good value.

Review 4：No bad experiences, but things to be aware of. There are maintenance and cleaning staff busy every day, and because of the geography of the resort, they are transported in cars to the different parts of the site to work. Therefore it is never completely tranquil. Tennis court charge is €8 per hour! Too expensive, we hoped to play every day, and were not aware of any charge before arriving. Swimming pool only open from 11.00 - 1.30pm and 3.00 - 6.30pm. Again not aware of this before arrival. We had hoped to swim early before breakfast. The terrain of La Francesca is not suitable for anyone with certain mobility difficulties. It is very very steep.

Review 5：Location. Friendliness of staff. Private beach. Great bar and shop......very fresh, local, and quality products. Generally well equiped and appointed bungalow. Lovely balcony with sea view.

Review 6：From 12 PM to 19 PM restaurants and minimarket closed, no chance for lunch. Long and hard way to the beach. No air condition, no insect net on the Windows.

Review 8：I did not like my less than enthusiastic welcome at the restaurant by the 'Maitre D', whom I seemed to have upset in some way. His arrogant and condescending manner, spoiled an otherwise enjoyable evening and left a bad taste.

Review 10：We were not aware that this place did not have air conditioning and the heat and humidity during our stay was nearly unbearable. It also must be clearly stated that this place is not possible for anyone with physical restrictions.

Review 20：It was a scam. There is no ventilation in the room.the bed sheets were kept on the mattresses. We had to make our beds after the long drive. No fan ! Forget air conditioning. I was advised to open the windows and doors by the front desk. That was the beginning of nightmare. Too many mosquito s and lizards. I and my family spent a sleepless night. We tried to get out of the hotel but the receptionist works only from 8 am to 7 pm. We waited 1 hr outside the reception gates to check out And flee the resort. My worst experience in a resort ever.

Review 22：Average furniture, problems with warm water in the shower, leaking sink in the bathroom (the problem has been resolved during 3 days), firm beds, Tiring path up to the villa form the beach. Awful breakfast: average bred, jam and awful coffee and tea and nothing else! Average restaurant for dinner.

Review 42：Not a Hotel to stay without a car. The staff gave us a room at the top of the mountain, which made our life pretty difficult, when we had to walk down the hill and go up again. Really exhaustive. The bad Thing about it was that there were many free rooms closer to the beach, but the Hotel refused to give us one, without charging extra Money. The wifi doesn't work in the appartment at all. Zero Signal.

Review 50：It's the worst hotel I've visited in my life. Fist of all: theycall themselves "resort" and they say they have 4 stars.It's a lie. It's not a resort and it's far far away from 4stars – stars are including in name of this place, actually place called"La Francesca ****", but these stars are not a stars of acomfortable. In your room you'll meet ants, spiders, lizards andother representatives of wild nature. The blower in room doesn'twork. A staff'll tell you that you have to buy: shampoo, soap, Fairy(for cleaning dishes), toilet paper – cause it's an apartment. But.There is no any comment? No any word on booking.com or other sites aboutan apartment! Everyone tells there's a hotel! Then. The personal isvery rude and impolite. The swimming pool runs on a schedule and youneed to buy a swim cap to swim there. About a sea. Of course, the sea isbeautiful, wonderful, amazing etc – cause it's a Mediterranean sea.But they say and they write that there are only 30 meters to the sea –it's a lie again. 30 meters – from restaurant, which stays in factabove the sea. But the rooms, and the bungalows are located on a highand quietly sheer mountain – in fact from the first bungalow there are150 meters to the sea, from the last – I think I don't lie if I say– 500 – cause I lived in room 203. Summing up – stay in Francesca is tooexpensive for this place.
