Review 1：room was too hot. TV did not work and when one of the staff came to fix it when we turned off and turned on later we had the same issue. wifi was poor.

Breakfast buffet looks small, but all you need is there. Private parking garage available. The owner clearly did a great job with the recent refurbishment.

The lakeside location is a short taxi-ride from the railway station and the evening market stalls made our 10 minute walk to the recommended restaurants even more interesting.

Review 34：The staff were only too happy to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel is on the lake and very close to the ferry terminus. An excellent place to stay. Most rooms have a lake view.

Review 36：Recently renovated, our room was modern, clean and comfortable. Although it fronted the main road and faced the lake, the amazing window and doors to our terrace made the room soundproof. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was lovely. We were able to walk to both the village and the lakefront areas, which are very close by, enjoying a community fair and entertainment one day. This was a perfect place from which to explore Lecco.

Review 82：we had booked (and paid the price) for a family room, but when we arrived this was not available so we had to fit all four of us in a two person room with my 5 year old son trying to sleep in a babies cot. result - very poor sleep. If we had not arrived after a long drive we would have argued for a refund and tried to find somewhere else. Owner was apologetic but I'm still left with the feeling that this place ripped me off.

Review 83：When going upstairs we noticed а smashed cockroach on the stairs. Room however was clean with a smell of cleaning chemicals though. Breakfast was very lean as they do not have their own kitchen.

Wonderful view on the lake and mountains, little balcony, excellent beds, WiFi, small Italian breakfast,... I must stop now, but there is definitely more that I just didn't mention yet. Oh, and did I say - super (!) friendly staff! Probably the best stay I've ever had in any hotel so far (and being a traveller, I've been to many).

Review 87：Owner. & family very helpful . Gave us coffee & biscuits after our walk in the rain no charge . Also owner took us to the station no charge to catch our train to Varenna & provided us with print offs of other train & boat information. Excellent Restuarant Chakre next door . superb food .Do go.

Review 88：It was newly renovated but apparently they forgot to put a place to hangtowels to dry.... We didn't like the attempt to add an extra chargefor the car park... When we asked to the nature of the charge we weretold that it was for the closed garage, if we had parked in the open airthere would have been no cost... This was not stated when theytransferred our car from the open space to the garage.

Review 90：There was some construction work on the floor of the apartment above us on Saturday early morning. This was annoying and interrupted our sleep. It would be nice to try to coordinate the timing so that the hotel guests are not annoyed or at least are aware of it.

Review 92：Hotel is not equipped for guests in the winter. There is a 'sheet' only on the bed. In the wardrobe there is a 'wafer thin' duvet to place on the bed. The night was so cold we slept fully clothed under what little bedding was available. It was not possible to adjust the heating in our room to ensure we actually had 'heating' outside of the hotel controlled hours. At about 5am in the morning the heating came on again but during the night, it was freezing! On account of this I had very little sleep and would not stay here again as I do not wish to be ill for the week (and to have paid for the inconvenience!). In addition, on the booking form I requested a double bed, rather than 2 singles put together Unfortunately I received a bed which was 2 singles put together. I was pleasantly pleased to have the option of a 'proper bed' for 2 people to sleep in during booking...and thoroughly disappointed to discover during the night, that we had the chav and cheap option of 2 singles together.

Review 94：Excellent hotel. Recently renovated with all the amenities. Nice bathroom. Comfortable bed and linens. Everything is modern and fresh. Our room had a large terrace that overlooked the lake through the trees across the road. Very good restaurants nearby and an easy walk to the train station and the town center. The staff was helpful and friendly, we loved our stay here and would definitely return. lecco is not as popular as other Lake Como towns but we found it charming and a great place to relax. A short train ride to the Moto Guzzi museum, which was really fun.

Review 96：This hotel is a treasure!! Massimino, his mother and staff have put in good work to ensure that all guests feel at home! Almost all the hotels all over Europe that I have stayed in demand full payment while checking in. Here, on the other hand, while I arrived in early to drop off my bag (since I had a meeting in an hour), Massimino made me feel at ease, offered some fantastic cappucino and delicious croissants free of charge!! Even when I got in dinner from the Indian restaurant ("Punjab" -- another gem) next door, he suggested I was free to use the restaurant table, plates etc. to enjoy my meal!! I don't know whether the HLL people have any formal training or not, but are a real example of how to run a hotel efficiently and make the guests feel at home!! (His friend also dropped me back at the station in his car!)

Review 103：The hotel was almost brand new and design of the hotel was modern. The automatic dustbins around the hotel were very trendy. Hotel has all the necessary facilities and is just across the lake. Breakfast spread was good. Free wifi was also good. The owner went out of his way to help us during our stay. He lent us his personal bicycles (unfortunately I rode it till one of the tyres went flat). He tried to rent a cool electric car for us but the car came a little late. They also offered to drive us to the train station, which was a very nice gesture. We had fantastic meals at the restaurants just beside the hotel - Italian one day and Indian the next day. The hotel was also very close to lecco town. We had a wonderful stay here and I would highly recommend this hotel.

Internet is very stable and fast 10/ mbit. Parking is for free and so is breakfast (fresh croissants). The Hotel is new for its owners and they work hard to make your stay pleasant. We left early on the morning to catch our flight. To make sure we ate right they started breakfast at 7:00 that day just for my girlfriend and me.
