Review 1：We didn't like that we didn't feel free to walk outside the resort without a guide. There were not many gluten-free options on the menu. There was a lot of rubbish around Menjangan island when we went snorkeling however this is out of control of the resort.

Review 2：The setting was very special with wild deers hanging out on the beach in front of the resort, literally in front of us and black monkeys swinging through the trees. There was no sounds of tv's, music or radios, only the sounds of nature. We found this very relaxing. The architecture was tastefully done, the buildings not detracting from the natural environment. The staff and manager were fantastic. The dive centre was professional and attentive. I dived the eel garden and it was great, the Southern jetty was not as good. The walking guide was knowledgeable and we enjoyed the walk. We would say 3-4 days is sufficient at the moment.

Review 3：we were the only guests, but the restaurant did´nt have vegetables for 1 1/2 day during our 2 days stay... not OK... and the public areas was not nice..

Review 5：This hotel is a ruin. It's dirty, it looks like a battlefield, absolutely depressing. Extremely expensive for what it is but once you are there there's no way back (only way to go is by boat). Swimming pool of course not working apparently since many years, nothing to eat in the restaurant, not even fish when the sea is 50m away.

Most excellent fun, staff that try so very hard to bridge the gap between the guest expectation of five star luxury in the wilderness and the reality of a poorly maintained resort with failing infrastructure. So, warm of heart, remote and an adventure, in a sort of luxury.

Review 11：Toilet is quite old. Water is warm for not so long. Mice or rat can get into the room and bit off our suitcase so we left the luggage there ( I suggest you should put everything in the metal case in the room). I was shocked to see a mouse running around in the toilet every night though. There are lots of trash at the beach, might from the waves. You should snorkel at the pier because there are sharp stones/shells or trash at the beach that you cannot stand.

Review 12：The room that we stayed is beautiful. The bed is large and soft. Room is clean and cool, love the design so much. There are deers and monkeys all over the place and we can see them from our balcony. Black monkeys were on our roof in the morning, quite amazing. We can also snorkel right in front of the beach, which is our main goal to come here.

Review 13：Fantastic retreat away from all shops .Surrounded by amazing sea shores full of deer and monkeys a true Indonesian experience.
