Spread across 14 acres of land, the Sol Y Viento Mountain Resort is atop a hill overlooking Laguna de Bay, Mount Makiling and Makati City. It features an outdoor pool and exclusive mineral baths on site.
The resort is within a 10-minute drive of Letran Institution and SM City Calamba. Ninoy Aquino International Airport is approximately a 2-hour drive from the property.
Fitted with a terrace and tile floors, the air-conditioned villas are furnished with a wardrobe, a flat-screen cable TV and sitting area. Each villa has a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, fridge and tea/coffee-making facilities. The private bathrooms include a hairdryer, hot/cold shower and free toiletries.

Review 1：Our room is in the 3rd floor and the shower doesn't have hot water. We tried to call the receptionist but it wasn't fixed. Some part of the resort is under construction so expect a little clutter. I also notice they don't automatically open lights in the porch.
Review 2：The location is awesome. You can see everything from the balcony. The staffs are very friendly and accommodating.

Review 7：Water in our Cabana was cut off one morning but quickly restored. There were no loungers around the pools just very nasty cheap white plastic chairs. Air conditioning in our Cabana was deafening! There is a lot of construction work being carried out.
Review 8：The Hot Spring Pools were fabulous as was the cool pool. Also there was a large hot water jacuzzi in our Cabana which was a real luxury. The restaurant was excellent and their cocktails very good value. The potential of this site is huge but probably two or three years away. Fantastic views everywhere.

Review 17：The view from the top of the hill is magnificent. The pools and jacuzzi pool is excellent for family. The food in Barrio Fiesta was great and with reasonable price and of course we have an wonderful time spending our night inside their bar with acoustic band playing along. It is indeed a wonderful full experience. If you are looking for a resort which is just 1 and 1/2 hour from manila this is the place. I recommend this to family's who want to spend a bonding moment together.
Review 18：I most definitely wanted a "lounge chairs" by the swimming pool area. It kinda disappointing that they don't have lounge chairs or any comfortable chairs around the pool area for that matter.
Review 19：The food is great! The entire time that we've been there it's raining, however, that didn't stop us to enjoy our day in the pool because the water is warm and just right given the bad weather.
Review 20：the attitude of the housekeeper when my family was asked about the missing when she insisted that there should be 4 towels instead of 3. my family found 3 only in the room when they arrive but didn't ask for another one as they brought their own. yet the housekeeper keeps insisting that it was four. we raised the issue to the management, and it was swiftly resolved. Very efficient customer service. Top of the line!
