Review 1：I didn't imagine that Campo del Pallio was such a big parking lot so need a little bit of walking between the cars to get to the hotel. But the hotel is in front of a park and very quiet.

Review 2：Perfect breakfast. So rich and plentiful. The best I've experienced in Italy. Towels and amenities all sterilized and packed in plastic. Reception was very friendly and kind.

Review 3：It was just excellent! Lovely family running the hotel, making sure you have everything you need. I give them five stars! Location excellent, rooms very comfortable, well equipped and super clean, excellent breakfast! If I go back to Asti won't even think of going anywhere else! :)

Review 5：All the staff were kind, helpful and welcoming. This hotel is just next to the park and the environment was quiet, yet in a walking distance to the old town and the railway station. The room was simple but very clean. There were a welcome fruits platter and a bottle of local wine. On our next visit we would definitely choose this place again.

Review 6：Perhaps the personification of a well run Family Hotel. Nothing seemed to be too much and they were pleased to give us advice on what to do and where to eat. The latter advice led us to a family run restaurant where the food was outstanding and the price reasonable. We are happy that we will be staying here again on our home .

Review 8：Location of the hotel is in Asti center, parking was free . Upon our arrival we received a red wine bottle and a plate of fruits - free of charge. The staff was outstanding kind and welcoming , we were upgraded free of charge to a suite although we ordered a twin room. Breakfast was very good and tasteful, big assortment. The room is well equipped and comfort.

Review 11：Was rather expensive for a 3-star hotel but prices were generally higher in Asti for Palio weekend.

Review 12：We stayed here for a night to catch the Palio in town. The owner of the hotel helped with the booking of the Palio tickets as well as restaurant reservations before we arrived. One of the restaurants had been closed for holidays at the point I requested that he helped with reservations, and he went out of the way to reach them regardless to make sure we got the reservation. Now, that's service at its best! The Palio and the festivities by the way, are totally worth catching if you are there in September.

Review 13：Lovely family run hotel in good location and free parking outside the hotel. All the family are very friendly and the breakfast is stunning. Lovely bottle of quality red wine in room to welcome you along with a nice plate of fruit. Will go out of my way to stay here again.

Review 18：Every detail was was taken into consideration. Enough plugs to plug in four electronic devices, air freshener, refrigerator in room with water and juice,slippers toothbrush, toothpaste. You get the idea! And evert towel, slippers etc were sealed in plastic bags insuring cleanliness. Mattress was memory foam and a bottle of wine as a gift. Great location. What else could you want

Review 23：We really enjoyed this property. We found it comfortable, welcoming, and well positioned. The park across from the hotel gave us a place to walk our dog. The enotecas we came to visit were all within walking distance. The fruit basket, bottle of wine, and mini-bar kept us satisfied. My husband and daughter loved the breakfast buffet. It was one of the cleanest hotels we've ever visited.

Review 24：There's nothing not to like about this hotel, it should be rated more than a 3 star. The breakfast choice is lovely with lots of fresh fruit etc. The staff are very helpful, nothings too much trouble.

This was my second visit to this hotel. I travel extensively throughout Italy and this hotel has got to be one of the best value for money establishments in the country.

Review 28：The nice and kind reception of us as guests is one of the very best I have ever experienced at a hotel. We felt like coming home to a place we had visited frequently even though this was our first stay at Hotel Lis. At any future visit in Asti, the hotel is a given - Hotel Lis.

Review 32：We liked the parc opposite the hotel. We liked the wine we had as a gift. We liked the daily fruit basket that became our breakfast. We liked the low noise and the balcony. And we liked the nice and helpfull people in the staff.

Review 35：Oh the internet. To be fair, the speed was not an issue for us. What does need to be addressed is their system. You need to get a password which only works for 24 hours regardless of the length of your stay and you need a different one for every device. But that wasn't the worst thing - it was that you needed to reauthenticate/login every time your device goes to sleep. And the usernames and passwords are computer generated so really hard to remember. Ugh. Really annoying.

Review 43：Warm and helpful staff. A strong feeling of attentive service about everything they do. That applied even to boiling eggs for breakfast and slicing off the ends for you. We felt cared for and would be very happy to return on another occasion.

Review 45：The hotel is situated in a quiet location within walking distance to the old part of Asti. There is ample parking space at the front. Upon arrival, we found a bottle of wine in our room which we greatly appreciated. Besides the normal toiletry items, there were also bathroom slippers and shoe polishing sponges; items which we had never found in 3 star hotels. Breakfast was very good, with freshly squeezed orange juice. Would definitely choose this hotel if we visit Asti again.

Review 46：The reception tended to be manned by people with no English while there tended to be a number of English speaking quests there was one very helpful lady who saved the day when necessary.

Asti is an amazing town with great places to eat. Tree surfing in the park across the road was a hit with our teenage boys. Review 107：We all liked the breakfast, it had so much variety and all of the food was quality. The service by staff was fantastic, right down to boiling our eggs and cracking them open!!! The room had some fabulous extras on arrival. This is so kind and generous and I would highly recommend everyone to stay here. The local pizzeria around the corner was marvellous also.

Review 108：This must be one of the best hotels I have stayed in in years. The hotel is close to the large Pallio square and the old part of town. There is free parking space in front of the hotel but if that is full there are two huge parking areas within walking distance. In front of the hotel is a small park. The road in front can be busy so ask for a room at the back with your booking or when checking in. Staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. My room was excellent with a nice big bed, desk, mini bar and a flat screen TV. The TV had a large selection of channels via SKY with a handy on screen menu. A pleasant surprise, and for me a first in a hotel, was that when you get to your room there is a free bottle of wine and a basket full of fruit. What a treat. There are also free coffee/tea making facilities in the room. The bathroom was nice and clean and had a range of soap and shampoos to choose from. Bath slippers were available and each individual towel was hygienically wrapped in its own plastic bag. Free WiFi internet worked very well, with an above average download speed, enough for streaming media. The breakfast buffet was very nice with a good selection of tasty food and fresh orange juice. You can boil your fresh egg in a special cooker. With all these fine details this family knows how to run a hotel and should be an example for others. Asti, once a major Roman northern city, is a nice place to spend a couple of hours.
