Reviews for La Marignana
Review 1:The WI-FI was good in the corridor, but in the rooms of the second floor it was very poor.
Review 2:The location is out from the city, but the place was very nice and quite. It's more relevant, if you are traveling by car. The home was very nice with it's and hospitable host. We took two rooms in the second floor. The only problem I can mention was the poor WI-FI connection inside the rooms.
Review 3:Children's beds are not particularly comfortable (but this is purely personal impression), but in general was fine, and the ratio of the hostess was great!
Review 4:Uncomfortable greeting when we arrived early even after arranging this. Dangerous automatic gate that locks you in yard or slams on your car if you are too slow backing out! Mosquitoes No Airconditioning Apartment but sign says B&B customers must not use kitchen! Caretaker entered apartment while we were away and moved clothes around.
Review 5:Breakfast Quiet neighbourhood Some shuttle service
Review 6:Bed was uncomfortable so we didn't get much sleep. There was a dog in the home which was a surprise since that's usually something one is warned about. We were fine with the dog, but through the evening and early morning as people arrived, the dog would bark, thus waking us up again. The double (small for us) bed was soft so we kept rolling into each other all night. We felt awkward in our room as it felt kind of like we were sleeping in someone else's bed for the night, right down to there being a used toothbrush in the shower (yuck) and items which just seemed too personal. I know this is a B & B, but we've stayed at other B & Bs and never felt so awkward in a place. Breakfast was extremely disappointing. My tea was lukewarm at best, we were given two cold boiled eggs between the two of us and while two more arrived after, we were already done breakfast by that point. We each got a yogurt, though no choice of what flavour we'd like since it was placed in front of our plate and that was it. There was only that kind of cheese that's in wedges in foil (a soft cheese) and a small dish of salami. Four pieces of toast with jam arriving halfway through the meal. There was no fruit or anything else offered. Needless to say, we left still hungry and went into Venice to get something more substantial to eat. Wifi was in and out and I typically had to go either outside the room or to the door to try and get some sort of signal.
Review 7:Beautiful home and interesting to see all the decor. As long as you have a car you can drive to the train station so you can go into Venice, but if you don't have a car you're in the middle of the countryside so keep this in mind. It was a more economical way to go into Venice being able to take the train versus parking down there so that tip was appreciated. Room was a decent size which was nice for us, although a little dark.
Review 8:Room was nice, very clean and confortable. The houselady was very nice and helpful. Nice breakfast and free parking place and wifi. You can reach Venice very easily by car.
