Hotel Alberi is set in a new building, placed in the center of Lecco and offering a view on the gorgeous gulf, one of the most beautiful spots of Lake Como.
Hotel Alberi is only 1,000 feet from the train station, and the boat station is within walking distance. During summer the management can arrange boat trips on the lake, while in winter day trips to renowned ski resorts are provided (at extra costs).
The rooms in the Hotel Alberi are all spacious, bright and comfortable. Some rooms overlook the mountains, others offer panoramic views of the lake.

Review 2：Good location! Very nice view to the lake. Very clean and big room. Free parking for hotel guests outside the hotel, although you have to be lucky cause there only 2. Nice and friendly staff

Review 3：The location is great but the 'lake view' rooms are misrepresented due to the trees outside the window blocking all view. Breakfast is basic and we were not able to use the air-conditioning as it had to be set at a hotel level

Review 7：We arrived by boat at 12.30, wanting to leave our bags. The lady on reception was extremely helpful, gave us room key as our room was ready. I asked for some hot water to make herbal tea and she found me a kettle and cups. The hotel was overlooking lake and 5 minutes walk to boat terminal and 10 minute walk to train station.

Review 17：The air conditioner was very weak. We had it on full blast our entire stay and it kept the room slightly cooler than outside, but warmer than we would have liked for sleeping. It was very hot weather 90+ during our stay.

Review 18：The staff was very helpful. They were able to get us an iron and ironing board when we asked and they allowed us to store our bags (albeit unlocked) after we checked out. The breakfast was also pretty decent. Variety of meats and cheeses, fresh pastries and croissants, fresh fruit, cookies, various coffee to order, juice and cereal, etc.

Review 19：Lecco itself was beautiful. Hotel Alberi was was on the edge of the lake, it was well maintained and spotlessly clean. Staff were all very friendly, not intrusive but happy to help with any enquiries. Huge choice for breakfast with fresh, tasty produce.

Review 20：The receptionist gave us completely wrong information about training riding time and cost to the Expo. The info was biased for the train but in the end we had to spend much more time and money than expected for the trip. And we had an Italien in the group so it was not due to language problem! The aircon continuously made some water cycling noise, even when it is turned off. So sleep was tough.

Review 31：Everithing was perfectly clean. Quite enough at night, good dark curtains to hide yourself from street lights. We had nice twin bed room on 1st floor with lake view. +free and fast wifi. Staff was very frendly and helpful. We were able to leave our bags at reception for 4-5 hours without any charge after check out. Normal italian breakfast including coffee on request, some cakes, yoghurts, flakes, ham and cheese, delicious bread, some juices. Hotel is just in front of beautiful promenade and just a few steps from central square with many restaurants caffeterias and shops.

Review 32：Internet access was too cumbersome. A new user name and password had to be created every day... you had to remember to ask at the front desk to do it as you can't.

In the end it seems it was not their fault and I was promptly repaid, but it would never have been picked up if not by me a fortnight later on viewing my account summary. They could have done more to sort it out when I rang . I had to lodge dispute with my bank and make many calls to the hotel and to Australia before they really investigated the error. Very draining experience.

Review 44：It was really nice stay. Clean rooms, nice, quite big bathroom, very pleasant staff, no saying about such convinceses such additional pillow and a blanket. The big advantage of the Alberi hotel is the breakfast table- the most reach and varied (ham, cheese, fruits,yogurts) we met during our stay in Italy where people are used to eating only croissant and coffee at breakfast.

The elderly gentleman from the owner's family was warm and kind and ensured we had a full breakfast when we checked out around 7.15 am as we had an early train (There was no one else in the breakfast room and breakfast room was being setup)

Review 101：Despite the fact I booked the twin room (on booking.com) and sent an e-mail to remaind about that when we came there were only double room. We had to wait about 45 minutes for the room (at midnight - we were wery tired after the flight).

Review 104：Noisy center. Stayed on a Saturday night and this hotel is located near bars. Behind the hotel are construction works going on, so not very peaceful. Besides, the whole night there was a zooming noise, not sure from where that came. Check-in went a bit hectic. Older man at reception barely spoke English. 90 eur seems the official price for a room, but for this money I am pretty sure you can get a better quality/money deal

Review 105：On a main road, noisy because of traffic, a bit outdated furniture. Room was a bit too hot in April (but we didn't ask the hotel staff to fix it). Quieter rooms are on the back side,which seemed to be an halted construction zone.
