Review 1：The room no.10 next to reception as the last room available apparently. I booked a single room, but this was a twin with beds not next to each other but one in front of the other. The room was long and very narrow. Windows high up and all that felt as if I was sleeping in a corridor or a hallway somewhere. Have put up with it as had other priorities to sort however did not feel comfortable when in that room at all.

Review 5：The Hotel Fonix is right opposite the mosque church - you could not find a better location. It is clean and tidy, though the rooms are a little small. The staff went out of their way to help me; they were really nice.
Review 6：I could not get into the hotel when I arrived. I had to ring and phone several times before I was let in. Also the information (in the room) said I could get breakfast from 7 or earlier (if earlier I had to discuss it with the reception) but I was told breakfast was only available from 8.
Review 7：The location is great, the single room was small but clean. The staff was very helpful when I left something in the room, they found it and gave it to my friend.
Review 8：They really should do something about the boring, unhealthy breakfast ( too much white bread and chocolate chips in the cerial). And the coffee ? Dreadful!.

Review 40：Design of the hotel and design of the room, the set up of the breakfast, wide selection of hot drinks for the breakfast. In the heart of the city, the hotel is very central. The staff speaks English very well and is very friendly.
Review 41：We were part of a large party, so I got to see a selection of rooms in the main body of the building (we were in an annexe). The cleanliness in the single and double rooms seemed to be average, but the apartments, of which there are two, was definitely lacking. We had two fridges and one of them smelt really badly. There was rubbish in some of the kitchen drawers and the floors weren't clean. This was particularly distressing for a young family who were in an adjacent apartment. Rubbish was not taken away and towels were not changed in the 5 days we were there. At check out time the bill was 20% higher than the quote from Booking .com, though the exchange rate had not changed that much
Review 42：The Hotel Fonix was quirky and interesting. We had booked an apartment which we were told comprised of one bedroom and a living room with hide-a-bed plus bathroom and kitchen. In fact the apartment was four bedroomed. Front desk staff were very pleasant. Location was excellent.
Review 43：The pricing policy is unclear and the rates appeared to vary a bit from what was quoted. The rooms are not cleaned any time during the stay. The single rooms are small, altho that doesnt matter if all you are doing is using it as a place to sleep. Be ready to be woken by the Mosque/Parish Church bell at 7 am, especially if the windows are open, which is necessary during summer. Internet available but best received upstairs in restaurant, which can be inconvenient if you want to make skype call.
