Review 13：The property has a lovely setting, not far from a small village and with easy access to all of Tuscany, Siena and Florence. The buildings and garden are lovely. The interior furnishings are tasteful and authentic. It's all very peaceful. The staff is well-informed and helpful. A place to return to!
Review 14：Something to know: Since there is no meal offered in the evening , you have to drive a few km to the medieval town of San Donato for a meal. We were there two nights, and we thought that it was a little expensive for the time we actually spent in La Canonica, since we were out exploring the area and then out again in the evening. Room was a little small, one large bed, no king-size bed, but very quiet. We missed a coffee machine available for customers all day, as it is in other B&B.
Review 15：La Canonica provides a calm and secluded atmosphere. Typical tuscan countryside with olive trees, small woods, and wineries. Beautiful pool, well-decorated rooms and good quality linen. Staff is very helpful. A good location if you want to explore the Chianti area.

Review 38：Wifi connection didn't really work in the room, we had to go to the downstairs areas to use it or stand right next to the door. There was no shower or curtain in the bath. You had to strategically sit down in the bath to have a shower so water wouldn't go everywhere because the shower head was mounted to the wall very low down. Lights didn't work properly and you had to swap plug outlets to get them to work, not a big issue though. You had to pay extra at breakfast for eggs (omelette, scrambled, etc)! Otherwise the breakfast had some variety incl cherries which were nice.
Review 39：The location was good if you have a car as there are good restaurants and towns nearby. None are walking distance away. The rooms were rustic, a good size and were clean. All the areas were very well maintained incl the pool. The pool area has loungers and some nice views from there. It's a relaxing place to stay.

Review 43：We loved the place - village Cortine is very pitoresque (couple ofhouses on the hill in the middle of wineyards and olive trees) and it isso green and peacefull there. You barely see the other guests and have alot of privacy. The gardens and pool are very beautiful and wellmaintained. Staff is warm and heplful.
