Reviews for Hotel Villa Braida
Review 1:Could do better on breakfast more fresh and inviting.. Eggs(boiled) were too dry, omelette was dry as well next to bacon in the same plate!
Review 2:Staff was nice and helpful
Review 3:The wifi signal is weak to none in parts of the hotel but who comes to itself for wifi.
Review 4:We are American traveling to Italy for the first time and the staff was so friendly and amazing! I can't wait to stay here again. The food was also amazing.
Review 5:Actually I was in the annex building (it looked like the past residence of the farmer) which was under renovation but room was fine:a bit small but tidy and clean with all comforts and AC. Nevertheless, nothing to do with the main building and its 4star rating:barely a 3star,not because for its comfort but setup more like a country house accomodation. Nice though.
Review 6:Amazing mansion in the greenery, perfect location for my business matters.
Review 7:It's a pity the lake is not cleaned and the fountain not working. They would make a dream to look at if they were cleaned and functional.
Review 8:The location is excellent both for visiting Venice and for going to Jesolo to the beach. Very convinient when travelling by car. The train station is about 7 km away, you can park and take the train to Venice for 2 stations. The villa has a nice home atmosphere, like you travel somewhat back in time, the breakfast is very good, the staff very welcoming. We stayed in the main villa, the carpets, furniture are old, as I read, but very clean. We enjoyed our stay a lot and defintitely would come back.
Review 10:Small room with poor air conditioning, restaurant offers only a few menus to choose from.
Review 11:Very nice environment, big garden and a beautiful small lake with birds, very good pricing, easy parking.
Review 12:The staff makes you feel that you are welcome. I like this! The breakfast is OK,not the best. The area is quiet and beautiful but you need a car to move around. My room was a standard (not superior) in a second building near the main building. This second building needs renovation (I think). However the cleaning ladies make their best to keep it comfortable. It is easy to hear voices from neighbouring rooms. But during the whole week all neighbours were quiet and no problems. In general if you get a good deal take it.
Review 13:- insect inslide the room - poor coffee - capuccino
Review 14:- great place to stay if you want to visit Venice - train station 3 km nearby - perfect staff - great breakfast - especially small jams and Nutellas :-)
Review 15:Ventilation system is very poor and very loud especially in the midle of the night. Bathroom, especialy tub is too small. And it was a bit too cold in the room during the night.
Review 16:Good location.
Review 17:We loved the terrace we had leading out from our room, it was such a surprise, the staff were amazing & very helpful, the locality is about 6km from the train station, but they have bycycles available, should you wish to cycle to the station. They didn't have a toddler chair for the bycycles, but paid me back after I purchased one from the near by bycycle store. Have the cycles really made our holiday so much more enjoyable, as we saved at least €100 from not having to get a taxi from station to hotel each day. The hotel rooms are enormous, and good value for Venice. Will definitely go back & highly recommend
Review 18:Very small n basic rooms, Tiny shower, Garden not well maintained, Carpets need urgent repalcement
Review 19:Clean, Cheap (we got a deal), English speaking staff, close to the airport - we only stayed 1 night before a flight
Review 20:It was absolutely excellent. No minuses
Review 21:Gorgeous place!!!
Review 22:Excellent location, excellent staff
Review 23:Room are tati refrigerator is a pain but in general all ok very clean
Review 24:Love the place very quiet very authentic
Review 25:Cleanliness of common areas and breakfast selection
Review 26:Inside already ready for some renovation. Breakfast was not 4 star, but OK.
Review 27:Amazing location, outside is amazing.
Review 28:Nothing
Review 29:It was really what I expected. The stuff and the breakfast was really nice. I would go back there anytime.
Review 30:cabina doccia menù ristorante non vario
Review 31:Breakfast omlet has too much butter in it
Review 32:Location, peaceful, unrushed, staff extremely helpful
Review 33:No AC when we were there Old furniture Very slow Internet Staff was not fair to our Asian friend
Review 34:Good location and good looking hotel Clean hotel and fair choice for breakfast
Review 35:+ The paintwork and garden could use some attention.
Review 36:+ Location close to Venice. + Quiet / tranquille, yet close to the motorway. + Friendly personnel. + 24h check in / out + Accomodation with 'character' due to the glass decorations and colour scheme.
Review 37:First room we got was dirty and had mold. Not ready for guests. But we got a second one which was good and "guest" ready.
Review 38:Great location in the Italian countryside. The villa gives the flair of the old renaissance times. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great and variated. Highly recommend it.
Review 39:Leaky air conditioner.
Review 40:Great location 5 minute drive to the Mogliano Veneto train station and only 20 minutes to Venice by train. Lovely restaurant. Scenic location.
Review 41:Service at breakfast was extremely poor. It took 20 minutes to fill anempty bread basket. One of the rooms we rented had a door directlyopening to hotel's garden, with insects entering the room.
Review 42:The rroms were kept clean and provided basic necessities.
Review 43:Everything was ok.
Review 44:All... rooms, staff, price, ideal location for shoping, size of bed (next time I will consider to take my other laides with me, there is enought place for all us.) :)
Review 45:Definitely not a 4 stars hotel. Breakfast very basic. We asked for a hot chocolate and was almost undrinkable. If you are not among the first having breakfast then the crumbles of the previous guest are all on the table. We had dinner in the hotel and the menu was very limited, definitely not worthed the price. Room furniture pretty basic and uncomfortable. It must have been ages ago since they cleaned under the bed.
Review 46:Nice location, quiet and close enough to Venice.
Review 47:Sensational surroundings, staff were excellent in recommending options to travel into Venice. 20 minutes on the train. Come back to a nice quiet location.
Review 48:Really small space in shower, hotel was the most expensive one in our journey in Italy (in other hotels we had better room and breakfast included for less money). If you don´t have a car, the access to the hotel could be problem - hotel is situated in the middle of nowhere (4 kms from Mogliano).
Review 49:We liked its surroundings (very calm), no problem with parking, easy access to Venice (we parked a car for free next to the train station in Mogliano - return ticket was 4,3 EUR - you can buy tickets at reception desk). Room was clean. Receptionist was helpful.
Review 50:There is nothing to dislike about Villa Braida
Review 51:It is a pure pleasure from the hussle and bustle of Venice. From the moment you turn into the driveway and see what awaits, it only gets better. Arriving at Marco Polo we picked up a rental car and the short drive was so easy, the next day take a train into venice (15min) around 3 in the afternoon to miss crowds, shops are open until 11 so you can have dinner and still shop. The rooms are a little small but well appointed, this can be overlooked by the attention to detail from staff. The restaurant was excellent and they recommended one in Venice us for right on the grand canal, they made the booking and we were treated like 5star clients.
Review 52:Furnishing in the rooms was quite old, don't come here if your lookingfor modern comforts like decent tv or tea and coffee facilities. It didnot seem like 4 star standard and was not worth the money we paid. Wasexpecting a bit more.
Review 53:Nice building, good Italian Venetian atmosphere, bathrooms were good, breakfast was fine. Staff are excellent, we had to cut our stay from 2nights to 1 night and they were able to do this without any problems.Usually hotels would charge you for the night but they were veryaccommodating.
Review 54:Absolutely wonderful place to stay! What a setting, the house, the room, the breakfast! We had a room in the annex and it was large with a lovely bathroom and beams! The breakfast had a great variety to choose from. Staff is friendly, professional and speaks fluent english! Close to Venice - 15 min by train. And several lovely places to eat in nearby villages of Mogliano Veneto and Marcon if you choose not to eat in the Villa Braida's own lovely restaurant. We recommend this place to everyone! It's fantastic!
Review 55:There was no hot water in our shower around 6 a.m. We were offered to use the shower of another room. As we had to leave the hotel before the offical breakfast time there was no possibility to get a cup of coffee or a tiny bread before we leave...
Review 56:The hotel was great - clean, comfortable, located in a nice building with a history. Felt like in a castle ;-) Staff was welcoming and very helpful.
Review 57:reality is that they will need to refurbish complete villa but then i am sure the price will not be so pleasant. Small shower - really small (but clean).
Review 58:beautiful garden is imperative at villa Braida. I was little scared about reviews - regarding "poor" breakfast, but in our case there was really good variety (even prosciutto crudo) and good espresso, only there was lack of fresh vegetables. Position of villa is also very good, easy to find and perfect spot to be if you are planing to visit Venice or Treviso (+ Veneto designers outlet is near for shopping ). Will come here again for sure.
Review 59:close to the motorway, easy to find. quiet place with amazing park. dogfriendly hotel. spacious and clean room. good breakfast

Review 65:vintage villa, quiet, polite stuff, good breakfast
Review 66:the showers are a bit too small
Review 67:Location, relaxed atmosphere
Review 68:waitress manner
Review 69:building

Review 71:Old design of the building, it was nice to stay in in order to go to Venice, especially if you have your own car.
Review 72:Everything was good. Excellent place to stay, peaceful surrounding.
Review 73:Poor sound isolatated rooms. You can hear almost everything coming from surrounding rooms.
Review 74:Near Autostrada yet without noise from traffic.
Review 75:stayed in January, it was a bit chilly in the room
Review 76:Big territory, Quiet, nice breakfast, friendly staff
