Reviews for Duca D'Aosta Hotel

Review 1:In front of hotel is very very noisy bar with repro outside and the windows was leaking. So if you cannost sleep with earbuds, you should choose another hotel. We had an executive room and looks a litlle bit depresive, because had very poor lightning in whole room.

Review 2:Perfect location, only 5 minutes from train station to Venezia or Treviso. Good staff, good breakfast. Room and hotel looks clean. Wifi works, but litlle bit slowly.

Review 3:Two pubs in front of the hotel. May be noisy in weekends. But it wasn't problem for me, because i had a room with windows to the other side.

Review 4:Very good, clean, and good located hotel. It's in the center of the city, very close to railway station. Good place to stay when somebody wants to go to Venice or Treviso.

Review 5:Instead of giving us a triple room, they put us in a double room with an extra smaller bed. WiFi was terrible, might as well have not been there. Air conditioning was very poor. Receptionist was not helpful when WiFi was mentioned. Beds were not very comfortable.

Review 6:Grapes. Never again. Room for a nice photo, a whole other reality. Dirty room, dirty walls, tattered wallpaper, the amount of hair on the bed sheet, dirty towels from scraps of faeces. shower full of mildew, rust. for addressing this situation with the hotel reception came two whores who walked opposite the hotel and two customers. Not to worry got a room. In such rooms and Beds I have bad. We slept under their own pillows and blankets. I made a picture that I showed at the reception. They were offered two rooms to four-bed place. very bad impression and feeling already but not deleted. The only positive was the good breakfast. Beware of this hotel. four stars ??? this hotel does not deserve neither. Disgust dirty rooms. Shame that I paid the front.I'll know in the future

Review 7:Hot room, noisey aircon that did not work too well.

Review 8:Handy location for Venice, only a short (15 - 20 min) train ride away. 3 min walk to the local station.

Review 9:Rude and lazy receptionist who did not want to change invoice.

Review 10:Generally stay at the hotel was very nice, relatively cheap, nice breakfast, spacious rooms, clean bathrooms

Review 11:There's a bar beside it that is a bit noisy on the weekend, and the wifi was only okay. Neither bothered me, as I had long days in Venice and spent little time in the hotel room.

Review 12:It's in a perfect location, very near the train station. It's comfortable, and the staff were perfectly friendly and helpful.

Review 13:Wi-fi really slow, lost connection frequently. During week days, there's a big interval between trains from 9:34 to 11:34.

Review 14:Very close to train station that heads straight to Venice. Offered tea at the reception for one euro.

Review 15:Had some trouble with directions to a restaurant and did not go but found something else which was OK

Review 16:Helpful front desk and great expresso from the breakfast lady

Review 17:The wardrobe had good space for two people. However I asked for a few more coat hungers for trousers but they did not bothered to provide. The morning we left, when I returned the room key in the morning, I was very surprised to be presented with a 33 Euros telephone bill for calls that I never made or accepted reversed charges for, which of course I refused to pay. One call was 9.50Euros alone. As a habit, I never use the phone provided in the hotel room I'm staying, plus I had my mobile set up for the holiday @ £2 per day for unlimited use. Although I received calls from the UK from my husband during my stay on the land line, there was no need for him to reverse the charges as we have an all inclusive contract with TalkTalk which includes calls abroad. The owner was trying to insinuate and convince me that Telecom Italia debits this automatically though the system and therefore it must be right. In the case he could not get the calls credited back to his account, he would charge my account later. They never offered to show the dialled numbers in questions. I offered my home number to communicate with me, I should have done that maybe, but I'm an honest person. Anyone with a key can enter any room while the guest is out during the day and make any call they want. If the owner will try it on again, I will make sure they'll gets the review they deserve.

Review 18:For us was a good location with easy access to transport and shops.

Review 19:Noise from the nightclub directly outside the hotel kept us awake until 2am. We asked to move rooms but there were no other rooms available. The bedsheets did not seem very clean and there were no tea or coffee facilities in the room.

Review 20:The breakfast compensated a little for our lack of sleep, although it was very busy at breakfast and the tables were either being used or stacked high with dirty dishes. We had to ask for a table to be cleared.

Review 21:The wifi wasn't that great. Other guests were noisy and liked to slam doors, and talk loud in the corridors!!

Review 22:It was a short walk from the station where you can get the train to Venice, or Treviso. The staff were friendly, our room was a standard double, it had a nice bathroom, a tv, and good double glazing windows! Breakfast was a nice continental selection, with a coffee machine as well. We had to check out really early, breakfast was usually at 7am but we were allowed in early so we could eat breakfast before we got our plane home! :)

Review 23:The help from the staff was invaluable. They where very kind and helpful. Always polite and courteous . If I was to score them it would be 10 /10 The quality of the breakfast was very, good multi choice .The hotel is ideally situated for exploring the area . Hotel very clean and very comfortable. Bedroom spacious also bathroom I would certainly recommend the hotel to friends . I would return to-morrow what more can I say.

Review 24:AC system in our room cut out after a short while, leaving a dull electric noise behind. Not fixed the next day either.

Review 25:Location and feel of both the hotel and the town of Mogliano Veneto. Good size 'executive' rooms and bathrooms.

Review 26:They dont offer a laundry service or even have an iron and board. I had reservations in good restaurants and i'm walking in with creased cloths. Doesn't look good. To be classed as four stars you would expect to have everything that every other 4-5 star hotel has. It's only a small thing but I've never had that problem in other hotel's.

Review 27:Good location, near a little market and shopping area. Good breakfast

Review 28:Very tight parking facilities. Confusing entrance to hotel .Wi-fi has a weak signal. The quality of food for breakfast was fair.

Review 29:Walking distance to train. It was a 20 minute ride to Venice by train. Nice restaurants in the near vincinity. Good value for Venice in high season. Breakfast had a good selection. Bathroom was a good size.

Review 30:We couldn't sleep too much because from 6 in the morning there was a lot of noise in the corridors. We don't know if it was because the room was not correctly isolated ir because the hotel was plenty of noisy teenagers.

Review 31:Very small room for 4 beds.

Review 32:Train station behind hotel, under 20 minutes to venice! Good parking, so when traveling with car, super starting point to visit venice without car trouble/parking near venice.

Review 33:Insufficient ventilation of the room, very strong smelling "air freshener".

Review 34:Very nice staff, gave us plenty of useful information) good location to visit Venice, breakfast ok for an italian breakfast (lots of sweets), modern room, cleanness.

Review 35:4-person room was bit too small for 4 persons - it was too crammed with beds. Stay in this hotel was ok... but just ok.

Review 36:Typical hotel in the center of the town close to local shops and cafes Clean air-conditioned rooms. Good brakfast. Free parking in the underground garrage. Good price/value ratio

Review 37:Maybe they need a personal to help with the luggages. If you take lots of luggages, elevator is very small, in this case I recommend you stay downstairs.

Review 38:staff, very good, breakfast buffet very good.Location nice, close to the train, that we use several times to go to VENICE and other locations.Right next to it was an ENOTECA, where lots of young people got together on Friday night, crowed it but nobody got out of hand.

Review 39:Breakfast was ok.... friendly staff... and very clean...

Review 40:The hotel is cozy, breakfast was great, the staff is helpful, 3 minutes from the railway station. We plan to come back to this hotel.

Review 41:too hot in the room - in november :)

Review 42:very good breakfast, dog and underground garage - no extra cost, friendly stuff, really nice hotel!

Review 43:Room was a bit noisy because of the bars across the street.

Review 44:Staff was very friendly, good breakfast

Review 45:Very close to the tran station which only a take a half an hour from venezia.

Review 46:The missing kettle in the room and uncorfotable pillows .

Review 47:Quiet place and good location of the hotel.

Review 48:Great location, paking, close to the train station great value for the price compared with other options

Review 49:The deep step into the tub..

Review 50:Breakfast

Review 51:staff, food and rooms are much worse than in 2014

Review 52:Slightly dated furniture. Room not too big.

Review 53:Excellent location to explore Venice if you don't want to stay in the city. Comfortable beds.

Review 54:Wi-Fi in the room was not stable. Good Wi-Fi was only in a lobby of hotel. The elevator sometimes was broken.

Review 55:Good place and breakfast.

Review 56:Better WiFi needed. A time table of trains timings to and from Venice needed

Review 57:Nice staff

Review 58:Breakfast was very good. Price perfect for location and type of hotel with 4*.

Review 59:everything, starting from the staff ending with the Internet, service and the cleansing were very good

Review 60:too much noise from the 3 bars opposite the hotel- till 1am.

Review 61:near the train station

Review 62:Wi-fi was a bit slow.

Review 63:Everything was great, friendly staf, good location, close to train station. Very satisfied!

Review 64:Really close to train station, about 1 min walk.. Staff was very friendly and accomodating.. For the money it was perfect..

Review 69:Good location. Nice staff. The breakfast was delicious.

Review 70:not very confortable bad with blanket

Review 75:Nothing special

Review 76:Garage

Review 77:The hotel needs better maintenance

Review 78:Good value for money Good location for visiting Venice Free parking in the garage

Review 81:Best location in Mestre!

Review 82:Style. Location. Breakfast.

Review 83:I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. The staff was very friendly. Room was clean and well-equipped.

Review 84:it is impossible to be a 4 star hotel

Review 85:Free garage; near the train station and 20 minutes to venice by train; A excellent pizzeria nearby

Review 86:A great little town close to Venice, but much cheaper.

Review 87:staff superb breakfast good, value for money and nice locatrion

Review 88:We stayed this the night we arrived in Italy and then again the night before we left. We had a room in the old part the first night and it does need updating. The second night we were in one of the newer rooms and it was lovely (although a bit small for 4 adults in 4 beds).

Review 89:The receptionist Agatha was very helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel is only 15 minutes from Treviso airport and is really easy to find with good and safe parking facilities. The train station is less than 100 yards away is so convenient for getting in/out of Venice. The town is small but the centre square is very pretty and there are a few good reasonably priced restaurants close to the hotel.

Review 90:No bedside lamp. Garage very narrow, and dirty , excess to the room with luggage not easy. Tv out of order.

Review 91:We absolutely loved the breakfast, fair choice, lots of fresh fruit, fantastic for an italian hotel ! Safe underground garage.

Review 92:The bedmadresses were very hard, it was like if the topmadress had been removed. We woke up in the night because the hips were sleeping, and we needed to turn around in the sleep.

Review 93:3 minut walk from the train station, 3 minute walk from restaurants. Nice breakfast and nice rooms that fits the price.

Review 94:- terrible wifi connection - garaga parking free of charge but very small and difficult parking - a bit noisy due to nearby bars

Review 95:- very supportive staff and a very nice lady at reception

Review 96:Not a big choice for breakfast but what was there was ok.

Review 97:Nice hotel, close to the local train station for easy traveling to venice. Very helpful staff who all spoke very good english, big rooms very clean and tidy.

Review 98:Hotel Air conditioning was switched off as it was not yet in season (no doubt in a bid to cut costs) despite the fact that the hotel room was uncomfortably hot and the room was advertised with air conditioning.

Review 99:Absolutely nothing.

Review 100:Really friendly staff, comfort at the hotel. Good breakfast, comfortably near the railway to Venice -3minutes walk. Quiet location even at the night. I think it's a perfect location for most of people to an affordable price. International atmosphere.

Review 101:Wi-Fi connection has a time and its a headache, I wish there was at least a kettle in the room, garage parking is very narrow.

Review 102:its close to the train station, its cleanliness, we had to go early and although it was out of breakfast time they gave it to us anyway. there is a nice bar in front of the hotel. tv has really good stations.

Review 103:Executive bathroom was partially old, not all facilities working. Wifi is a bit hard to use - if your Java is outdated, internet might not be available. Conditioner does not work - was stuck at 26 C, so we were forced to keep window open.

Review 104:Breakfast was simple but decent. Location is superb, close to highway, train station. Staff was polite and helpful. Safe garage parking was a big plus. Tasty minibar drinks :)

Review 105:Very spacious and clean room, availability of the garage and good breakfast. The hotel is in a strategic location for visiting Venice and Treviso with public transportation.

Review 106:Room was a little outdated.

Review 107:Reasonably close to Venice and Treviso airports. Easy to find - on main road. Free, secure underground car-park. Good breakfast. Late check-in.

Review 108:We booked this hotel after we decided to visit Venice for few days. Hotel is situated relative close to the train station, 3 minutes walk. Schedule of trains to Venice is very good (~every 15-20 minutes). The staff is very friendly, especially Lilian who helped us. The breakfast is diversified. So, if you are going to visit Venice and you don't mind to travel with train / bus this is a good location where to stay.

Review 109:Breakfast can be improved. The light in the room is very low and the room was so simple for that price.

Review 110:Location is great next to train station Mogliano Veneto.

Review 111:The hotel is rated as 4-star, but we didn't find it to be this way. It's an old hotel. Our room was very small, and dark. Beds and pillows not comfortable. It was ok as a place to spend the night, but I would not have enjoyed spending a lot of time in the hotel itself.

Review 112:The staff, one in particular, were exceptionally helpful. 1 person in our group lost his passport, and staff were EXTREMELY helpful in retrieving it - went out of their way to assist us. We did not expect such excellent service.

Review 113:Clean, pleasant and excellently located for the local station, shops and restaurants. Good breakfast. Hotel door to Treviso Airport by train and local Treviso Bus No.6 just 50 minutes overall for €3,40.

Review 114:A bit noisy on the streets.

Review 115:Location: it's only 15 km from the airport and easy to get to Venice. Price: good quality and amenities for reasonable price. Nice breakfast.

Review 116:Smile on reception Clark face was missing. Unfortunately the train wascancelled. We had to wait 1h 15m to get back. Of course it doesn'tapply to hotel rating, but expect unexpected.

Review 117:Location to Venice is big advantage.

Review 118:I liked everything! It wasn't my first time in Mogliano Veneto, but my first time in Duca D'Aosta Hotel. I was there with my sister This hotel is really 4-stars hotel. The room was big and clean. I booked the room in january and the price was only 52 euros for night. The breakfast was very good. The staff was very friendly especially Lilian (he helped us a lot with our booking and asked all our questions) and a girl whose name I don't remember (she did us delicious cappuccino every morning).

Review 119:The booking.com website does not may it clear that classic rooms are in the older part of the hotel. However the facilities and service is the same, very good.

Review 120:Close to train station for Venice. Stayed two nights and bedding and towels were changed each day. Drinks fridge in the room. Very good range of foods for breakfast. Professionally run by people who know hotel business.

Review 121:Couldn't get the air conditioning to go any colder, was set at 25 degrees and in 86 degree heat wasn't comfortable to sleep in.

Review 122:Everything, Hotel very nice & Clean, Staff extremely nice & helpful, would certainly recommend. Idea location for shops, bars etc. Metro just round the corner.
