Review 1：Not a great location. We walked the town but there was nothing to see. When we arrived there was a note tacked to front door to call for check in. Had to go to the bar across the street and ask someone to call for us.

Review 3：There was no one to greet us and we were there at 2:00 pm on day of arrival. A note was left on door with phone number. Had to go to local club and use a kind persons phone. TV did not work.

Review 5：The situation of the B&B is in a not very charming area of the town. Directly after you enter the front door you face an extremely steep stair up the to the rooms. The room doors are very thin und and you can easily hear what is going on outside on the corridor. Communication is hard if you do not speak English.

Review 8：La Locanda was nicely situated not far to travel to other beautiful villages like Bolgheri etc, with the most beautiful views. Breakfast was nicely served from Eleonora, who prepared the table perfectly. Very friendly staff.

Review 9：I prefer staying in properties which are owner occupied - La Locanda is not - there is just a minor concern if something goes wrong there is no immediate person there to attend to it.

Review 10：I loved my room which was very comfortable, spacious, quiet and clean and which was immaculately serviced every day by Beatrice. I loved the breakfast which was freshly prepared by Elenora every morning. I like staying in small venues with character and La Locanda delivered on all counts - a beautiful property with just 6 bedrooms in a quaint town.

Review 11：this is a simple bed and breakfast with a price charged by a four star hotel- when we arrived the door was locked and we had to wait for someone to come after we called. The staircase to the first floor is dangerously steep!

Review 23：We didnt like the fact that we came one day later and we were charged for the room anyways and when we arrived the following day our room was sold to another couple. We called to say we were late and called to say when we were coming and still they did not manage to have our room ready upon arrival but we were charged anyways. I was disappointed the hotel did not know we were traveling with a little baby although mentioned on our reservation. Hotel is beautiful but access to room is not ideal when traveling with a baby.

Review 26：The B&B is located right in the middle of a little town. It can be noisy at night. But start in the AC and you won't hear anything.
