Review 1：quite far from the center of Strobl; they smoked in the office downstairs, which could be smelled throughout the house (even in the rooms), which was disgusting; you couldn't even open the window bc they had a serious mosquito problem...
Review 2：The owner and staff was very helpful. Excellent location if you travel by car. Very clean. I like everything. I would recommend this hotel without any doubt!

Review 4：Host was not not very welcoming with a strange sense of humour. Toilets warning notice was just absolutely mean and rude!! Strong smell of smoke coming from the Host private rooms and office. Mosquitoes are everywhere so that you cannot open our windows. Lots of dead mosquitoes on the walls with blood stains, which is kind of disgusting. To conclude, very weird and strange atmosphere. We would not stay again..

Review 7：The lack of any other food source past breakfast was a little annoying, particularly as we were there on a Sunday so we couldn't even buy anything from a supermarket when we were in Strobl to take back with us.
Review 8：This place is in a picturesque middle-of-nowhere, so if a tranquil retreat on a farm setting appeals, then you'll be fine. If you own a car or are not adverse to a 40min river stroll, then amenities are nearby. The owner is a tad intimidating, but once we'd complimented her (extremely friendly) dog in German, she warmed to us.

Review 22：The Pension is located about five minutes drive from Strobl and about 15 minutes from bad Ischl .We had a car but it seems you got to have a car since public transportation doesn't seems very frequent.
Review 23：Owner is really nice and has a really cute and well trained dog. The breakfast was good and the room was very clean and homely. wifi worked everywhere.
Review 24：Room was at back of hotel and had a highway nearby. When the windows and door were closed it was quiet but with them open or when trying to enjoy the balcony it was noisy. I hope I just caught the owner on a bad day, because the first night I felt like everything was a bother for her - checking us in, giving us the Wi-Fi password, etc. She also freaked out a bit about us having a dog, even though the booking.com listing said they were welcomed and we told them in our reservation that we would bring one. Owner has signs everywhere yelling at you not to do various things. Owner was friendly during breakfast, though. Wi-Fi didn't work in the room; had to go to common area to use it. Further from Stobl than we thought - have to drive for restaurants/stores.
Review 25：Rooms are modern with high quality furnishings. Very comfy bed, large bathroom and shower. Filling breakfast with good variety. Pets allowed with no charges (unless they sleep in the bed). Friendly Labrador acting as mascot. Decent base to lake/alps region - about equidistant from St. Gilgen and Hallstatt. Nice trail running along river to Strobl. Easy free parking.
Review 26：It is the most terrible experience of my life!!! First of all, thishotel appeared in results when I search ed for Hallstatt (I used thesystem in Chinese). I don't known why. As we didn't known thatthis hotel is not located in Hallstatt, we got Hallstatt by train. Andthen, we had to spend 100 euros to get the hotel by taxi. It rained alot that night. When we arrived it was late, the woman (I guessshe's the owner) looked unhappy to attend us. I thought it becauseit was late. I explained why we arrived late. But she kept her badattitude. The next day, when we asked her tourist information, she wasvery impatient. As there is only a bus which pass by the hotel once perhour, we got back that day at around 7. We would like to eat something.But she told us there was no meal that day!! How ridiculous!! There isnothing but trees near the hotel and she didn't want to offer foodto us. That day was Thursday, she said there is nothing for Thursday andFriday! So why she hadn't tell us in the morning??? We suffered aterrible hungry that night. And when we check-out on Friday, when we gotdownstairs, we called her for check out and breakfast. She shouted outangrily and crazily in German, but we didn't understand why. She didthe check out very slowly, so we didn't have time for breakfastbecause we couldn't miss the bus. It's an experiencedisgusting!!!

Review 30：The owner is very nice and helpfull. The location is great - only 10 minutes to St. Wolfgang and Bad Ischl, and 20 minutes to St. Gilgen. The room was very nice and spacious, with a mounten view.
