Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, Big Blue is in the lovely village of Myrtos in south Crete and offers spacious, soundproof rooms, with free internet access throughout the hotel.
Surrounded by a lovely garden with citrus trees, the fully air-conditioned/heated rooms have private balconies with views of the sea and the village.

Review 2：Everything was just as it should be. The room was quit small, but they managed to put everything in it that you need to have a pleasant stay. It looked like it was just renovated and it had a nice air-conditioning. A small but convenient bathroom with marvelous shower. And the best thing, the view is priceless. I wish I could have stayed longer, I felt so at home there. Certainly coming back as soon as I can.

Review 4：What a gem of a place, full of little touches and great care to make my stay enchanting. Wonderful staff and magnificent views, comfort and the kind of place that makes you feel delighted at being a traveler, not a tourist. Would like to keep this find a secret but would be unfair to the place which deserves recognition for excellence. A lot of stairs in case you find this a challenge but the whole village is build on the hill overlooking the stunning bay. Charming town as well. Big Like.

Review 5：The room was tiny, I would say only suitable for 1 person..the noise from the fridge and the sea did keep me awake, but none of that marred my enjoyment.

Review 6：We had a lovely couple of nights here. The room, on the top floor, was small, but had a comfy ( very hard) bed and nice shower room. Everything was clean, good quality bed linen and nice touches like free wine and olive oil. There was a coffee machine and kettle, although barely enough room to prepare breakfast. The view from the balcony was Stunning. Lots of nice little tavernas close by. It's excellent value for money.

Review 7：We had booked the room 2 weeks ahead and we were e-mailed confirmationand permitted to bring our pet along.. We arrived at the hotel around18.00 in the evening and no one was around while the reservation did notlimit us on the time of arrival and we called the hotel and there was noanswer. We finally found an alternative number written on a piece ofpaper On a door and may I note the reception operation hours said to beuntil 21.00 in the evening and it was closed... The owner who picked upwhen we called did not remember we had a reservation and said "whatreservation? I am not in the area.How was I supposed to know?" Hedidn't know how many guests we were, did not know in which room wewould stay or for how many nights. Needless to say no option forbreakfast (it wasn't included in our booking) and the roomwasn't prepared...The owner wanted us to pay at our arrival becauseno one would be around. How rude! We waited for more than thirty minutesfor the cleaner to arrive to open the room for us and the owner did notoffer a discount for our inconvenience or even an apology...

It was pristine white and blue and we had a generous sized room with a kitchen and a balcony overlooking the water - wonderful! It was a few steps down to the beach and a great row of restaurants. We had 2 suggested to us and they were excellent.

Review 29：We stayed in the room "Heaven" which is very spacious, has a great view and a huge terrace. We loved the quietness, waking up with only the sound of the waves rush to the shore. The beach is just a few steps away. The big blue is really a lovely place to be.

The owners most helpful - gave a very good breakfast on a shady garden terrace overlooking the sea - what can I say, we miss it already.

It got plenty of space, very clean, everything you need and a nice terrace. The beach is just down the small hill - 1min by walking. We'd come back anytime and recommend it to everyone!
