Review 1：Parking is in a nearby metered car park. Car is out in the open, so no security. Plus you'd have to be up early or risk a parking fine (ok if public holiday or Sunday). Maid banged on door 40 mins before checkout time to remind us. I stay about 100 nights in hotels per year worldwide, and over the last 12 years, I've never experienced that "nanny" attitude. We're adults folks. If we're over the checkout time, then ring the room and give us a warning to vacate promptly. Rooms are a bit tired and need sprucing up to be fair. TV only had 4 channels tuned at random locations....lots of "white snow". Only tiny soaps for use to hand wash and for showering. No shower gel or shampoo dispenser. Needs to get into the 21st century. No credit cards accepted.

Review 3：Lovely staff very friendly and helpful and the location was perfect for my wife and I We had booked a room for two nights sat and sun. When we arrived they gave us a one bed appartment for the same money so that was a nice surprise. The appartment was old style but nice for two nights.

Review 10：the hotel could do with new look and update also the parking is so bad in the town for guest it needs urgent action by your town council to make places for guest to park without looking over there shoulder for traffic warden. That you can relax and enjoy your lovely town.

Review 14：Outdated, scary decor. The room was tiny, dusty and not clean, the matress was in a shocking state. The room did not lock and I hardly slept. The breakfast was in some sort of metal cannister which was heated by a candle, not freshly cooked. I ordered scrambled egg which resemled congealed grey snot ! Completely inedible. All in all a shocking experience at a shocking price, I have stayed in hostels which would give this place a run for its money !

Review 26：Room was a little on small size for 2 guests but nothing major. It was a pity that there was no designated parking for guests near the hotel so parked my car a few doors away.
Review 27：Hassel free check in & friendly lad on duty behind the bar on the evening we arrived who swiftly checked us in. Room was comfy. The traffic warden didnt give me a ticket when i explained i was a guest in your hotel, (considering where i parked my car).

Review 31：We had to go to the pub below the hotel to look for the staff in order to chek-in after waiting for them at the reception for more than 10 minuts. The room was dusty and no soap was provided. Only one pair of towel for 2 people was provided. The breakfast was poor. The hotel was really humid.

Review 97：This place is a firetrap. Soon after arriving, I followed the exit signs down the back stairway and came to a dead end at a locked gate. Had to exit through the bar of the hotel. In the morning, I had to "escape" from my room by UNSCREWING the non-operational end of the security chain because I could not release the chain. I was surprised to find that I could do this with my fingers. Not very secure. Breakfast was unappetizing and the help was unhelpful. In all, not a good experience.

Review 104：The owner of the premises very unfriendly although a nice chap at reception, wanted payment on check-in and not as normal on check-out. No lifts to bedrooms, this was not stated when booking, no car park. A loud disco playing from 8.30pm until 12.30 pm - no consideration for residents. Breakfast was ok, no fruit etc. but a nice woman serving us. no nice welcome when you arrive, cold.......
