Review 1：Reception staff on arrival and departure quite unhelpful. No hot water for 2 of our 3 day stay. Room very basically furnished. Breakfast was a miserable experience. Few comfortable and relaxing places to sit inside.

Review 5：Confirm what's been said before, comfort wise only the reserve bed to sit on if you don't want to sit on either one of the hard camping chairs or one of the two outside chairs, none of them suitable for longer reading. The matress of the reserve bed in the living room looked chabby, old and was way to soft. This means nowhere to sit comfortably. Had an appartment with very limited kitchen equipment. I did not need it but if you plan to cook, better check again. Seaview yes, but im our case just looking over the roof of the Main building and it's very noisy kitchen ventilation chimney. Definitely no relaxed sitting on the terrace with that rumbling noise in what would have been otherwise a very calm stay. Better chance probably with the apparts situated a lot higher. Swimming Pool suitable for children only. Nearby Pebble beach with heavy downslope the last meters by ebb and nearly completely covered by flow. Does not make a good beach walk.

Review 6：The situation is very nice, even spectacular, if you precisely ask for the right appartment. Good parking facilities right near your room. Well maintained propriety. Complete and good breakfast, refurnished until the end. Restaurant very good. Nicely prepared menus and friendly personal.

Review 7：No bad experiences, but comfort wise it would be have been good to have 2 armchairs in the room (there was only one). So, we tried the outside chairs and they were extremely hard & uncomfortable, not pleasant for a relaxing read of a good book!

Review 14：This hotel was like heaven on earth. Great location with wonderful views overlooking the bay, splendid friendly helpful service. Good English spoken. Will definitely be coming back.

Review 15：The pictures for the double room don't reflect reality. There are 3 rooms which have no view at all, except on the parking lot and if you book the double you might still get that room, like we did, even though you expect sea view. When we highlighted this the staff wasn't very receptive for our comments and told we were the first to bring this up. In the end we did get another room, after a cancellation, but it impact our stay.

Review 19：In the last day of out stay we did not get free access to the private beach of the hotel. We were told at the reception that they had too many guest coming and as we were leaving that day, we were not entitled for a beach coupon. The price to get a 2 chairs at the beach was 22 Euro and it was impossible to get them without previous reservation

The so called hydro massage shower was a waste of time and I nearly scalded my self trying to understand the shower settings.Some of the facilities are reserved for Residence Guests anf the staff found it embarrasing to explain this.

Review 27：This is the place where you come to relax in the sun and chill at the beach. There isn't a great deal to see in the immediate area, so unless you wish to travel on roads (where rules of the road are not adhered to) you wont want to do too much driving!!!

We hoorden de volledige gesprekken van de gasten in de andere kamer. Dus moesten wij genoegen nemen met een appartementje met tv in de keuken. Dit was voor ons heel ongezellig. Ook waren en 3 avonden feesten (babyborrel , 2 bruiloften en communiefeesten waardoor de gasten op de 4de plaats kwamen. Moesten 's avonds buiten eten omdat alles bezet was. Review 36：Het hoofdgebouw met de daarbijhorende tuin was zeer mooi. Ook het restaurant was super en het personeel zeer vriendelijk. Verder zal de rest moeten onderhouden worden of anders gaat het een vervallen indruk geven.

Review 37：From the patio of the apartment I had a terrific view at the bay of Mattinata. The location is quite and I had a relaxing holiday. The staff was very friendly and fluent in several foreign languages. The hotel has a good restaurant.

Review 38：For me, the mattress was a bit hard, but at 74, I have a bit of a hip problem! The wifi didn't work very well at our highest level of apartments. And although we had a Sky remote control for the TV, we could only get a few programmes as the hotel do not put a card in the Sky box. It would be nice to understand this limitation at the outset, rather than trying to access programmes that are not available. We did not use any of the drinks in the fridge, but were unfortunately, accidently, charged for water - the cleaners come in every day if you need them and at the same time take the fridge stock.

Review 39：The apartment with sea view was fantastic, and we were upgraded from a basic apartment on arrival (in May). Most of what was needed, if one was self-catering, was available (fridge/freezer, electric hob, microwave/oven, dishwasher and washing machine, but obviously you need all the consumables - and there is crockery and cutlery, but only the small Italian coffee cups!) The staff were extremely helpful and the buffet breakfast in the dining room was great. The pool is shallow but well maintained and I'm sure in really hot weather, a great advantage. Loungers miraculously appeared on the grass surrounding the pool, as guests decided to take advantage of the returning sun. There is a lovely sandy beach minutes from the hotel.

Breakfast was plentiful and we thought this was a perfect place to stay. We were here in November, not many people, but that is ok with us. Weather warm; good for seeing the beautiful Gargano Peninsula. We were given a good map and suggestions for our circle of the GP. This is an area not too visited by Americans...it is beautiful.

Did not order package meals only off the menu and found it to be amazing both nights and very reasonable. Staff were very professional and pleasant both at reception and the resturant. Including shuttle driver to beach. Take the recommendation for resturants at the beach. Food was very good and only a short walk from the chairs. Fantastic spot in Italy!

Review 55：All in general !!! We stayed there 3 days and was fantastic. the staff was very professional, friendly and all time attention with customers. the hotel location is perfect with a view to the seaside and Mattinata.

Review 57：The Pool. The restaurant. The attentive staff. Take the Zodiac boat tour out of the hotel; it is more expensive but much better than the "bus boats" out of Vieste. Do drive to Vieste as it is a very scenic drive.

Review 58：We arrived from Australia with suitcases full of wrinkled clothes. There was no iron in our room, we were told for fire safety reasons they were unable to give us one! After begging a little we were given one to use for a few hours! Wrinkled clothes in fashionable Italia are a NO NO!

Review 59：The staff at reception are friendly, knowledgeable very professional and spoke good English. The restaurant was superb we ate there lunch and dinner most of our stay. Lorenzo is the head waiter and is great at his job, our 4 year old son loved the food and was given a lot of attention by all the staff. Pool area is picturesque even if a little noisy with very excitable children. (Including our son)

Review 60：Arriving here was such an amazing surprise! What a view! We only stayed for 2 nights, wished it had been longer. The view from the apartment and the pool area/restaurant is breathtaking. Had dinner at the hotel both nights. Quite expensive for Italian standards, but extremely good! Staff is mostly quite young but very good, almost everybody speaks more than sufficient English and the service is excellent. They also have their own beach area as well, with a shuttle service to get there (or you can easily drive and park there as we did). Hope to return!

Minibus available to take guests to beach or town. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Very good breakfasts. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant one night and ate out locally other nights. Would highly recommend.

Particularly annoying since we chose the hotel partly because of the convenience of a shuttle. If you rent a car, not a problem.

Review 130：The double bed are two single beds put together, it is a pity for such anice room... The bed is one of the most important features of a hotel...Such a pity... It is possible to enjoy breakfast outside by the pool butthe wasps/bees were not willing to leave you alone (we had 3 or 4minimun rounding our table/food) as a result we preferred having apeaceful breakfast in the dining room. The hotel has an agreement withone bathhouse (Monsignore) and the deck chairs and sunshades (andtransport to the beach) are included in the room price, nonetheless, thebathhouse keeps the last (and worst) line of the beach for thehotel's guests despite having the fronter lines completely emptythroughout the whole day. The service is poor and not professional anddespite you are paying for everything, it looks like they are doing afavor to you. The price of the room while we stayed (August) wasextremely high (250 euros per room per night) and the services providedare not up to this price level. Not good value for money.

Review 134：Pool is more for deco only,but we appreciated the aesthetic of the installation. As the appartments have huge terraces it is a pity that no comfortable chairs and sunloungers are placed on it, this is a major minus for the place which could be easily resolved though. Wifi and even normal mobile phone coverage did not work at all. Wifi due to a network breakdown, which can happen of course, but the staff kindly helped with allowing to use a device at the reception. The bigger problem eas a full lack of mobile network at our appartment' s location. This again, could be resolved.

Review 135：Very enjoyable place offering great appartments as well and superb view from the hill. Specially the staff was great, they make the place feel like a 5 star hotel. The beach shuttle worked impeccably, sunloungers and umbrella are included in the room price. We absolutely recommend it and would return next year!
