Review 6：Everything about Hotel Grifone is, to my mind, perfect. The situation, the staff, the comfort and moreover the excellent service and standard of food in the dining room. After a days skiing in the beautiful surrounds of the Sella Ronda there is nothing more pleasing than to return to the comfort of Hotel Grifone. This March was our fourth visit and we shall return next year.

Review 7：Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Food good quality and plentiful, ideal for skiing. Ski bus service quick and responsive ,giving easy access to the slopes . Good sauna and steam room facilities. All the staff are very helpful and friendly.

Review 9：This hotel really deserves its 4 stars. It has alpine luxurious feel to it, with a big fireplace and sofas in the bar area. There's also a pool and spa area. Rooms are spacious and nicely furnished (lots of wood and rugs) with a balcony and are very clean. The food at dinner time was amazing. There were lots of menu options and quality of the food was excellent. The best of all were the staff. They were so nice, welcoming and professional. The hotel was full and at dinner time everyone would come down at once, but the staff handled everything amazingly. There was no waiting, everyone was served with a smile, ladies got helped with their chairs and napkins,.. Impressive.

Review 14：I could put location here, as the hotel is a distance away from any of the towns. We were obviously there in Summer season for a relaxing break, so location never really bothered us. However in Ski season, I would prefer to be closer to town. However this is all personal preference. Location is quiet and peaceful. Other than that, I cannot fault this hotel.

The service is exceptional: every memberof the staff - the receptionists, the cleaning ladies, the busdriver tothe ski slopes, the waiters,... - all very friendly, all helpful.I definitely recommend everyone to pay for half-board: the salad and the dessert bar is amazing, the choice of first and second meals is wide... anyone can find the preferred meal at a very good quality. The ski slopes - where you can also join both the "green" and the "orange" Sella Ronda - are cca. 400 meters away, buses drive there and back every 5 minutes, from opening to closure, actually you never have to wait for transport more than 2 minutes... Unbelievable professional service. It's definitely not a super-model, design hotel, and has all the elements of the Souther-Tyrolean mountain kitch, but it's very well maintained, the rooms are perfectly clean. The owner (or general manager?) seems to know all the guests, he has a talk to everyone, I guess lots of people return regularly... We arrived in a big snowfall, our rented car (with summer tires, as we realised later...) could not approach the hotel, which is on the top of a pretty steep road, we called the hotel, they came down for us by car to the valley, took us to the hotel, and next day they brought up the car to the hotel from the valley. We could not find the words for this kindness. One day before we left they equiped our car tires with snow-chains in order to be able to go down to the valley... This was our fourth time in the Dolomiti area in different hotels, and I daresay, this place is amazing, do not even search further!:-)
