Review 1：Our apartment balcony & plunge pool was right over the footpath and a carpark. Definitely worth booking on the upper floors or requesting inwards facing towards the main pool area for privacy & a view. Not what we expected from the description of "executive apartment with private pool".

Review 2：Location is good. The complex is large but was very quiet, even the pool over school holidays which is great. Kitchen, main bedroom, ensuite and lounge were large and everything modern and clean.

Review 3：Lift not working. Allocated car park taken by someone else. No one around to ask when we had problems. 3 tea bags for 3 people when I paid top dollar

Review 5：We were allocated a designated parking spot, however it kept getting used by other vehicles, there was no one to inform..... Also our key did not work for most of the exterior gates. All in all nothing major, just a bit annoying. Doesn't change all the positives, we will be back.

Review 6：Great stay with a family of three young kids under six years old. Nice modern unit with fully equipped facilities.

Review 7：Didn't like providing my credit card details for a $200 bond for a one night stay at the time of arrival as asked. Credit card details fair enough for security but was told that the money would be taken out and refunded within 7-10 business days. Not even at the property for 24 hours! Couldn't really provide cash as we had to leave early next morning.

Review 16：The glass sliding door had tape holding the bottom together. The outside area was full of sand. Someone's finger nail was found (after it stratched me) on a inside chair. Only half a roll of toilet paper for 2 toilets was in the room

Review 24：That the gym was under refurbishment, and the nearby leisure centre was already closed when we discovered this. So I had to work out near the pool.. Not the worst thing in the world!

Review 25：The actual apartment itself was absolutely incredible. We loved the decor, the layout, the kitchen, the bathrooms. We couldn't fault it at all, and there was an iPod/iPhone 4 dock so we lounged around and played music while we prepared to go out to dinner. Don't forget the bunnies - how cute!!!

Review 30：Not a bad experience at all - but here are some ideas for improvements: the air conditioning didn't seem to be able to heat - it was very cold in the later evening. The apartment block was difficult to find because t has a different name to the one on booking.com and it was difficult to see street numbers late in the evening. As there is no reception - the instructions to get the keys and then find the parking and the apartment itself could all have been made much easier. A map with the confirmation would be a good start and then indicate that the apartment is on a sub level so you need to go down the stairs. I think be clear that you need a car - its quite isolated.

Review 31：The facilities were excellent - a great apartment for a family or two couples. It was extremely comfortable and the fit out was of a high standard. The lap pool would be great in summer.

Review 32：BBQ was not useable - not looked after which was a shame and microwave didn't work. But didn't dampen holiday at all.

Review 36：At the time of booking I would have liked to have been a bit more informed: - that there are no reception staff, use of a mobile phone to get the combination to a safe to get phone and details. - no name of the appartment complex - that might have also been useful to tell people where we were staying, we did have the street address. - no information about the closest shop, had to ask people in the street and it was several kms away, still would have been useful to know that. It would have also been useful to have this information before hand.

Review 37：The two bedroom appartment was really good, had everything in it that you would ever need. Very clean and spotless. It was very quiet, no sounds at all, lovely for getting a good nights sleep.

Review 39：this unit has been thoughtfully set up by owners for the comfort of everyone, but I think they should be notified to check it out more often, it does need a good clean, very dusty main bedroom,fridge rubbers mouldy, it is a shame to see it like that and you are paying good money for it.

Review 40：No heating to pools. We had our own plunge pool and was not heated. If you pay good money for an overnight stay in a room with plunge pool, I expect it to be heated.

Review 42：We had problems getting in touch with the management to organise key collection and drop off. There was no free WiFi as advertised. We had a fire evacuation where there and there are no muster point plans in the apartments, and as there are no onsite mangers nobody knew where to go.

Review 48：Casuarina Beach is quickly blooming into a luxury suburb with fantastic facilities, but in 2015 it is still lacking a supermarket and cafes within walking distance of the accommodation. However, another 48 months of construction in the area will rectify the situation, so stay tuned.

Review 56：There was an entrance gate adjacent to our apartment #6 which made a loud bang every time someone came through & let it slam. It was a busy time & the noise of that gate from early morning til late at night drove us CRAZY!!!

Review 57：I booked a 2 bedroom apartment with plunge pool almost 12 months in advance so that our family could spend the Christmas week relaxing & celebrating. After reading everyone's reviews, I was very clear to request a ground floor unit with plunge pool, NOT at the back of the complex but facing the central pool & garden. When we arrived & opened the door to apartment 6 I was shocked to see that despite booking almost a year ago we had been given a room with a view of the rear street & houses under construction! I went back to reception, explained the mix up & asked to be moved, the response was "sorry, but we cannot guarantee all requests & there are no other rooms available," and that was all the manager was prepared to say...end of story! So, this was the unfortunate beginning to what was supposed to be our perfect family Christmas getaway! Having said that, our apartment was gorgeous, the furnishings were modern & very tasteful & soon we got used to our rear street view & our week was absolutely beautiful. We took long walks on the beach into the village of Cabarita Beach where we found an excellent coffee shop called 'Kartel'. The Woolworths supermarket there is large enough to stock everything you need to fill the fridge if you plan to cook in your apartment as we did & there are a few places to eat out there as well. Our 19 yr old son used the complex's small gym most days & there is free entry to the health club down the road which looked good too. We spent some lazy afternoons by the main resort pool & the whole holiday was one of the best we've ever had. So, despite our initial disappointment & anger about the room mixup we would totally recommend Cotton Beach Resort but be very firm about your requests when booking!

I also asked if there was a sauna but most of the amenities are off site or located available at the closest town of Cabarita or The rec club up the road. And no restaurant or café on site. Also did not provide beach towels. And the bath towels were not in the best condition and only provide 1 each person.

Review 61：The pools were great. I was in town for a triathlon so to have a lap pool as well as the resort pool was fantastic. The room was fantastic and exceded expectation.

Review 67：The lack of direct information on arrival. Staff should give guests basic information about parking (it's a maze) and any idiosyncrasies of the apartment. Simply handing guests a folder of information is impersonal and isn't helpful to smooth settling in - particularly when it's info they will need immediately!

Review 68：Front desk service was very rude, u are in customer service so at least be happy. It was also like a goust town no vibe, no restaurant or bar, no option for breakfast and no staff. There was no where to leave the key in the morning either. I really would not be recommending this option as a pleasant stay

Review 72：resort fairly newish - yet furniture inside apartment was sadly dated - and looked like someones castoffs - mismatched with an indoor table outdoors - and dusty artifical plants. Bit disapointed as outside of complex - looked clean and modern.

Review 74：The unit did not have oven mitts, tissues and spare tee towels. The lounge stank like sweaty people had sat on it so we had to cover it. They were an hour late allowing us into the unit as they had a cleaner call in sick that morning. They had to rush the cleaning which left the unit cleaning rushed and dirty in areas. The vacuum cleaner didn't work and took an hour to get a replacement. They mislead you when they say that the complex has a tennis court and heated pool as this is not in the complex but a short drive by car. The gardener was spraying poison on the grass around the pool as people were arriving at the pool one morning.

Review 75：The location was on the beach and very nicely landscaped and grounds cared for. The rabbits were fun for the kids to feed. They are very well fed and timid though. The view from the sky deck is amazing as we saw whales most mornings and the sunrise and set is fantastic. It has a large balcony on the top floor units which is big enough for the largest family.
