Review 2：Excellent location next to the 2 major attractions - the embarkment and the funicular. Friendly and accomodating staff. Nice restaurant and food.
Review 3：There is no or very limited parking at the facility. The rooms are really small. Worst of all I left something behind by accident, and within an hour of discovering what I had left at the hotel, it was taken by the staff and never returned to me. I contacted the staff via phone and via e-mail and never got any response back. The item I left behind was of high sentimental value and has been in my family for years. The hotel could have at least wrote an e-mail back, or left the item behind to be picked up.

Review 5：Wifi was really bad. Even with the wooden blinds there was still light coming from the street. Could have thicker curtains. No escalator but the staff carried my bag to the room. We carried down but they would have if we asked. Staff spoke English.
Review 6：Breakfast had variety and if you get there close to when it starts then the croissants are still warm. Location to the lake and main part of town was good but quite a distance to main train station.

Review 16：Room was on the end of blind corner and we had the building in front as a view.it was just a night stay but we had plenty mosquito bite. Room was approximately 6-7m2 and it was impossible to move in bathroom two persons at a time. Looks like a restaurant more than a hotel.there is no TV its just a 15"screen.noisy, old furnished etc... It is not worth 130€ per night.

Review 19：The room was not ready on time we had to wait for the cleaning staff to finish cleaning. We had two single bed joined and it was uncomfortable because everytime you move the beds gets separated

Review 23：Very difficult to find using a GPS. Need to find parking in the street or have staff take you to a parking garage. Our room for 4 ended up being across the street in what seemed like a basement. The bathroom was down the hall but we were assured it was private.

Review 32：Parking. Extremely limited roadside parking down a busy narrow road. Leaving your car there seems fraught that wing mirrors etc will still be attached next morning. There is true private, garage parking albeit not free as was implied by Booking.com site.

Review 37：Manager/older gentlemen who did not say a word other than attempt to intimidate with rude stares! Perhaps it was because I was traveling with my son who does not look like me? I did have two rooms so who knows what was on his mind. Singles are very small.
Review 38：Fair price for what you get, 3 or 4 parking spots available. The staff was nice, a manager (I assume, was not very professional at all he should not be in the business of hospitality) he stares at you when you arrive never saying a word I only assumed he was someone in charge, after I checked in he still kept staring at me and never said a word or a smile! Creepy at best. I didn't let it bother me yet if I was with my family I would feel uncomfortable. The man never said a word to me in two days yet always looked at us suspiciously and was very cold. I was told the owner was not available so I assume he was the man in charge. They never explained the food service available other than a booklet in the room so we went out to eat. My mini bar in the room was broke and had a puddle of water next to it, you would think the staff would have noticed that prior to releasing the room. The young lady who did it all was Excellent, the value was great, the view was perfect, location great. If you plan on getting a single DONT expect a view. Get the double. My only complaint was the lack of hospitality and borderline rudeness of the older gentlemen who apparently kept looking at us in a way that came across as rude and intimidating! He needs to take a corse in hospitality! If you can get past that I would go again. They need to push their own food at the counter with a possible offering of a aperitif (with small samples of their cooking) that appears to be the norm in Europe. The single rooms are very small with no View. I upgraded to balcony views which only came in larger beds, no twins.
Review 39：Dinning room does not open in the morning on time. You have to wait outside of the door, very small waiting area, feel very cold, not a friendly atmosphere.

Review 42：Very difficult to find....sat nav did its best but in the end we had to drive the wrong way down a one way street to get there. Parking was tight, husband had to crawl over to the passenger side to get out of the car once he'd parked it.

Upon arrival I was told I already had been charged for them room, the next morning I was presented with an invoice which I had to pay. Arguing that I had already been charged did not help.Two days later the hotel sends an email apologising wanting to make a refund.
Review 47：We really liked the Hotel Marcos, it was a fantastic bargain. Small yet well run with a great staff of friendly and helpful people. We had to leave early in the morning before breakfast and Luigi got up and made sure we had coffee and a few things to eat before we left at &:00 am. It was a lot of fun and located in a fantastic place right on Lago di Como.
Review 48：Parking was very tight, although the staff helped, and it did work. Not very happy with the restaurant associated with the hotel. Seemed to be overpriced for what was delivered. Plenty of other restaurants nearby.
Review 49：Location of this smaller hotel is excellent, right beside the lake. The room was compact, but worked just fine, matched our expectations from the Booking.com data. Balcony with a lovely view of the lake. A few metres walk to the Funicolare terminus - worth the ride to a fabulous view.

The staff was friendly and courteous, very helpful answering our questions about the area and help with transportation. It had three restaurants, two of which we enjoyed - great food and reasonable prices. Very close to many sites in Lake Como.
