Review 1：We werent there long enough to enjoy the rest of the facilities... pool etc

Review 2：We were upgraded. Enjoyed the art works.The rooms were large and clean. Loved the art books in the rooms. Walking dist to great food top paddock and desserts b&p and zumbo. Tried the eggs in the hotel restaurant at breakfast... perfectly cooked

Review 3：Room was small for two people. Wifi was charged extra, at a cost of $10 per day. There was no breakfast included and the restaurant downstairs was a bit pricey, yet uninspired. Pool area was small and all chairs were taken (even on a cold, windy day).

Review 4：Fantastic Location in South Yarra... walkable to many cafes and shops, quick train into CBD. Room was small but well appointed: great toiletries, luscious robes, nice sitting area and fully furnished kitchenette.

Review 5：You have to commute at least 15 minutes to get to the city center (Flinders Station), however the South Yarra train station is just around the corner as well as tram stops. If you sleep late and the room service has gone past checking your room if it's ready for service then they just leave you with a bag outside with toilets and towels to replenish your room. The hotel has a very weak and sluggish internet connection.

Review 6：Cleanliness and location. Staff was helpful, welcoming, and friendly. It's along one of Melbourne's shopping street leading to St. Kilda beach. It's close to the Botanical Garden and the Yarra river, ideal if you are into shopping, food, and fitness (as there are areas where you can run or jog). It has a really well maintained roof deck and swimming pool that overlook Chapel Street. The room is well kept and well appointed with basic things you need.

Review 7：Parking full if returned too late in the day but not difficult to find on the street until the morning. Room service coffee not great.

Review 9：I loved the location and the room...the beds were amazing! My boyfriend and I wanted to take it home with us lol the staff were very friendly and even tho there was a mix up with the booking and phone calls the staff were very apologetic.

Review 10：Brilliant holiday hotel in a great location for shoppers, runners and tennis fans - lovely pool, in-house restaurant was professional with well prepared, tasty food (in particular on the room service menu). It was a brilliant perk of the hotel to offer to rental cars and bicycles by the hour for those errands and side trips that didn't take a whole day. Artwork and general design also fabulous, and the kitchenette well appointed and very clean. Even the minibar selections we really well thought out and high quality.

Review 11：there were issues with the booking through a third party agency and as a result the room received was not what we had booked. That being said the staff were very accomodating and went above and beyond to provide as nice an experience as possible. also the extra costs associated with your stay such as expensive wifi and old dated movies on the tv!

Review 13：We hired one of the hotel's cars for the day. Great value. However we got only 20 minutes from the hotel before we had to return the car because it continued to stall. The car was badly out of tune and had exceeded the service date by 199 days.

Review 26：Room was tiny, paid extra for a room with a balcony, and the room was like a box. Not somewhere you want to stay; literally only good for sleeping. Bathroom was a glass swing door, hardly any privacy. Really disappointing.

Although the room was quite small everything was set out well and manageable. It was great having the small kitchenette with all the requirements and I loved the gym and pool which I used everyday

Review 29：No rooms with a bath. As i was after a flight from Ireland (basically travelling 24 hours) i was in need of a nice bath to relax in but unfortunately none of the rooms had one and it just so happened that the pool was actually closed the day i arrived aswell.

Review 46：The little surprises popping up throughout our stay- wine offerings at reception- friendly happy front of house staff, comfortable rooms, efficient valet service with car windscreens cleaned and gifts of water in the console- a gift of drink vouchers on our checkout. We had to loan umbrellas for wet weather which were great. Everything was just attention to detail- thank you- I plan to stay again next week and then again in aug. Your my go to spot now!

Review 47：I am an alcoholic, and had a staff member holding out a glass of champagne to me (free at the door in the evening, which actually is a really fun thing for the hotel to do...) saying "go on, you know you want it..."! Yikes! I didn't take it. But staff: no means no!!!

Review 63：Only two minor things. TV had a red vertical line so needs replacing and could not get comfortable on the pillows as they were too big and very squishy. It was like sleeping on a giant marshmallow. :)

Review 78：I stayed here with my partner for his birthday, and was impressed with the clean and luxurious rooms. We were upgraded on arrival to a larger room with an amazing view of chapel street by the lovely Alex at the front desk. There was no tackiness that you see at other hotels, and the art and designer furniture of each room were great. The bed was super comfortable as well.

Review 79：An average sized room is not a suite. The balcony (which we paid extra for) was uninviting & the kitchentte cramped with most available space taken up with mini bar items. The bathroom lacked a wow factor & didn't even have a bath. Ridiculously if you turn on the light in the bathroom in the middle of the night it also lights up the bedroom (via the glass wall). The carpet was poorly fitted, the chairs uncomfortable & the room not that clean, lobby unwelcoming. I could go on but you get the idea.

Review 81：Our room being on the west was very hot as the temperature was over 30 degrees and airconditioner was set at 19 degrees and could not be changed to make the room cooler.

Review 82：Initial room allocated (even after booking well in advance) was not a deluxe room as booked. When raised with staff, it was insisted that it was deluxe room; whereas previous experience demonstrated otherwise. After complaining to management this was correct. This conversation should never have had to happen in the first place. Very disappointing and embarrassing, particularly when this was meant to be a special get away.

Maybe I have toohigher expectation but for the price I would have expected at the leasta bath and not a bathroom that looked like it was copied from a publichospital design. When I am paying near on $450/ night, why on earthdo I have to pay for WiFi on top. We did have breakfast included. Thiswas however limited to either a cooked breakfast or fruit and muesli notboth. If I wanted a second cup of coffee or a juice or fruit salad withmy omelette this was going to be extra. The omelette on first day wasvery tasty and well cooked. I ordered it for 3 more days and I thinkthey must have sacked the chef and picked up a cook from a localsshearers shed as it was awful. Day 5 I ordered Eggs Benedict, anothercamp cookout quality meal. I certainly would not recommend this hotel toanyone looking for a great experience. I'm sure the proprietorbelieves it is a great hotel, having stayed in any hotels, I must say itcertain is not great nor value for money. I'm sure there is bettervalue for money hotels close by.

Review 93：The most I appreciated the bed - really comfortable, large and clean. Otherwise our experience was very mixted. Upon arrival the price of our stay plus 100 dollars were frosen in my accout for hotel security reasons which I did not like at all. And it was the only hotel during our 2 weeks trip in Australia. The rest is done for spinning money from clients. For example, internet connection in the room is charged 9 dollars per day or 3 per hour. The room service is charged 3 dollars even though the restautant is downstairs in the same building. The swimming pool is beautiful but as soon as there are no windows it is totally useless while cold outside.

Review 101：I did not like the pettiness of the hotel. My lodging included breakfast. But you can imagine my surprise when I realized that "full breakfast" does not include a hot drink. This is absurd: Most people want their coffee with their breakfast, and they do not expect to pay for the coffee separately when they eat full breakfast. I don't know whether this is stupidity of the hotel management or pettiness. Also, the selection in the 'full' breakfast is rather limited. I also did not like the mattress, which was much too soft, causing back pains. Another disadvantage is the location, which is quite far from downtown
