Review 1：The lack of air conditioning.

Review 2：Great location and relaxed atmosphere. Helpful and friendly hosts. Good facilities all over, with a washing machine as bonus after 3 weeks on the road. Lovely pool Spacious apartment.

Review 3：Residenza Belvedere was a perfect place to stay for our family. Very clean and beautiful gardens, the swimming pool, the sea view from the garden and very helpful and kind staff. The apartment was well equipped and modern.

Review 8：While the wifi connection was good, it was unavailable inside our particular room, not a big deal though. The shoulder season is a little problematic with businesses being open at the particular time we visited in November.

Tom was very helpful, the mountain bikes were great for exploring as we didn't travel with a car, the apartment was lovely and comfortable and the pool was fantastic. Lots of extra things like a washing machine for use by guests. After 4 weeks of traveling we were glad to stay put on Elba at this great apartment. Location is quiet and just a short trip it of town - walking distance but bikes down the hill was quicker.

Review 13：Only that it was a little far from town without care but the owners kindly gave us a lift to town when we moved to another apartment and then a lift to the port on the day of our leaving. Thanks for that Thomas and thanks for a lovely stay in both apartments! We especially loved the Portoferraio base!

Review 19：Lovely spacious studio apartment. Really clean and well maintained. Really nice outdoor patio area with shade that was the perfect place for eating breakfast and admiring the view down over Portoferraio and the sea. There is a lovely beach just across the road that is only 5 minutes walk. It was beautiful. Stunning scenery and not too busy.

Review 20：It is a truly fantastic place to stay. It is located in a beautiful district over Portoferraio centre. It has a garden, swimming pool and sunbeds for the common use. The views are gorgeous - beach from one side and the central harbour on the other one. The rooms are very comfortable and bright. All is spotless. The hosts are very friendly and help with everything. It was a great stay and I can truly recommend this place to everyone.

Review 21：A couple of small negatives: there was no bathroom trash can, no plastic bags for our kitchen trash, and no hair dryer. There were no mosquito screens (although mosquitoes were not a big problem during our stay).

Review 22：We stayed in a very nice studio apartment that was clean, modern, and with plenty of space. The kitchen was well-equipped and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The WiFi worked great. There's a nice terrace in front and an even bigger sun terrace nearby offering great views overlooking the sea. There are sun loungers and chairs everywhere. Free mountain bikes too. The swimming pool was large and open during our visit. The hot shower by the pool was excellent as was the shower in the room. We were allowed to check in early too. The owners we interacted with (two brothers named Giovanni & Tomaso) are very friendly, multilingual, and provided us with good restaurant information. We highly recommend eating at Trattoria Sciamadda in Poggio/Marciana, and Pappa & Ciccia in Capoliveri.

Review 25：Only downside, as we were there at a rainy May weekend and there's no heating in the app. it was a little chilly inside. But this shouldn't be a problem at any other usual stay on the island :)

Review 26：The residence is absolutely great. The view, the close beaches, the BBQ, the gardens, the free mountain bikes, the pool... One could go on for ever because you have everything you could possibly wish for. Additionally, the owner, a real local and married to a German will tell you everything you need to know in order to discover the island (in pretty much every language). Also where to eat, what tours you shouldn't miss etc. Very recommendable!

Review 27：The owners, Tomaso and extended family are exceptional. It was the end of the season and they were still friendly, enthusiastic and very helpful. The apartments are efficiently designed and comfortable, with sea views, and close enough to walk to town. A lovely place to stay, and we would definitely stay there again.

Review 28：Perhaps a shower corner in a bathroom should be replaced in a future. But nothing serious.

Review 29：The apartments are run by a nice family. I liked the position of the apartments close to the centre by walking and a vicinity to 2 beaches (200-300mt). Apartments are based in a very quiet part of Portoferraio. Also parking is very easy. We really enjoyed our stay.

Review 30：Plz provide some kitchen stuff (soap, sponge, etc) and some amneties in the bath room would be nice - but these are minor points.

Review 31：Giovanni & Tomaso are really nice hosts. If you wanna stay near Portoferraio this is the place to go. (Pebble) Beach is in walking distance but there`s also a very nice pool which can be used. We had an apartment with a balcony and (!!) a terrace. So either way you will have sunny place for breakfast.

Review 33：We like everything. The apartment is very nice and comfortable, the owners of the apartment are very kind and helpful and the location is near the centre of Portaferaio and also very near of nice beach.

Review 34：For us we were a little stuck as my daughter has mobility problems and we didn't hire a car. I would definitely recommend car hire as the hotel is located at the top of a long winding hill. Still though only a 10 minute walk to the harbour, for those with no walking issues this is still perfect.

Review 35：An absolutely wonderful residence with the most fantastic family owners. They were so helpful with everything, and couldn't of done more to make our stay enjoyable. The accommodation is clean, comfortable and well maintained. The grounds are kept immaculate and a bonus, the pool was open, the views across the island are simply breathtaking. We will definitely return again soon.

Review 36：On arrival, our room was not stocked with the basic supplies that wewould expect in an apartment rental (toilet paper, soap, dish soap, teatowels, dish cloths, etc) I think this was just an oversight. When Iasked for supplies, they did get us some very quickly, but there wasalso a comment about guests usually bringing their own, so you mightwant to check about that. The room was a good enough size for ourfamily, but a bit of an awkward layout. Overall these are smallcomplaints in the big picture!

Review 37：The extended family that runs the Belvedere were so warm and friendly.They seem very happy to be where they are and doing what they are doing,and that feeling rubs off on you when you stay here. Tomasso and Robertain particular were so helpful and genuinely nice. The grounds werebeautiful and well kept. We loved the patio area outside our suite andthe kids loved the lawn space to the back of our building. Portoferraiowas the perfect base for exploring Elba in April. Plenty of shops andrestaurants open, but not yet crowded.
