Review 1：We'd love coffee in the room, and the bath was small. But these are not as important as the friendly atmosphere and the view, location and the fact they allowed our dog. Highly recommend this property.

Review 2：The staff was very accommodating. Location is excellent, the view outstanding. Dinner was excellent. We would return without a doubt.

Review 3：The only negative thing was that the hotel staff pre-charged my credit card with the full stay price at check-in, and surprinsingly they "could not use" this pre-charge when checking out, so they charged my credit card twice. The cancellation of the first charge took more than 1 week after leaving the hotel to be effective. This can be a serious inconvenient when travelling. The Car rental we took at Bergamo airport did the same operation, clearly a bad practice, even when we had a full collision waver. This is unacceptable at all for a serious hotel.

Review 7：we had ordered a lakview room and asked for a walk-in shower as my wife had hip replacement surgery. We didn't get it We got a first floor room over the bus stop. even though the European first floor is our second so no privacy. The stuff offered to changed the room but not until the next day. as it was only a two-night stay, it was too much of a hassle to repack and move

The location is noisy, so not good for relaxing on balcony - but double glazing excellent for soundproofing at night. Review 20：The location of the hotel was perfect, i had a room with a lake view and the view was great. All the shops were right next to the hotel and the boat tours as well. Staff were very very helpful during my stay. It was clean, i loved the smell of the room after cleaning. The view of the breakfast was amazing also.

Review 44：Parking is really a nightmare! The hotel is in a pedestrian area, so the street access is very limited and hard to find. The parking space is located in other hotel 2min walking distance, the car is placed in an elevator and the key has to stay in the other hotel. It is really hard to get right instructions from the impatient receptionist on how to arrive in the other hotel. Hotel walls seem to be made by styrofoam, any noise from other rooms can be heard! In our bathroom lots of hairs were found in the soap and in the sink!

Breakfast was very average compared to many other hotels. It was adequate, but lacked flair and presentation, but once again the staff was excellent.

Review 58：The bed was a little on the hard side and whilst the balcony door/window were very effective at keeping the noise out the walls and ceiling were not! It was quite noisy at night. The water in the bathroom could have been a little hotter and run a little faster in the bath but it was not a major problem. The lifts were very small so getting luggage in and out was a bit of a struggle!

Review 59：The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was fine and we hadn't realised when booking that we would have a balcony which was a nice surprise. The breakfast room was charming with a very good variety of food and was included in the price of the room. Location was perfect, walking distance of everything.

Review 60：I ordered a room with a lake view and a balcony and/or terrace, as confirmed on Booking.com and got a room on the second floor which saw only a sliver of lake and had no outdoor space. The room was large, however. I had also asked for a shower since my husband is disabled, and they offered us a disabled room which was so dark and dreary (in the back on the 2nd floor) that he decided to not bathe for the 3 days we were there. The disabled room did have a shower, but faced a brick wall and was otherwise tight. So I did not feel we got what we had asked for, and paid for. In fact, thhis hotel had already charged us before we checked in, against the policy of Booking.com I believe. We had an existing credit for the amount for the 3 nights, and on checkout we were billed only for extras. The breakfast was crowded because there were large tour groups staying at the hotel.

Review 63：The location as the location is within walking distance of the town, railway station and the ferry terminal. We had a room with balcony overlooking the lake and the view was great. Reviewers have complained about the noise of the traffic especially at night - I suggest they close the balcony door as we did and you cannot hear a thing. The Staff were very friendly even loaning us an umbrella for the rain that occurred on our first day.
