Review 1：Everything. Friendly staff, an excellent location, easy parking superb facilities and a great breakfast. This is the second time we have stayed here and we will definitely go back.
Review 2：water pressure in the bathroom was quite low, price for solarium in the guide was different in english version than in the hungarian one;-)

Review 4：The cleanliness of the hotel is very bad. Dust in the room, mold in the bathroom, smelly towels...And a very unpleasant staff; we were only few people in the hotel and seem to bother them the two times we dared ask them for recommendation.

Review 6：It isn't guaranteed that you can find a free parking place at the hotel just after your arrival since the court where parking places are supposed to be reserved are used also by those who do shopping in the city centre.
Review 7：The hotel is right in the historical centre of the city between the pedestrian zone and the old city square, a few minutes off the fortress. Smart and clean and silent.
Review 8：I didn't realise that payment for the room would be taken from my card at booking, whereas we still had to pay the local tourist tax separately when we got there. Surely take everything from the card in advance or everything in person!

Review 10：Macdonalds just a few metered away and the street room is not well insulated from the noise of the people wanting take away all night when drunk . This disrupted out sleep but really was the only issue with the place . If u have different room maybe you wouldn't experience this ,mi suggest ask on booking ,

It was to hot in the room under the roof to sleep The matras was old and bumpy The bathroom was not clean enough All and all not clean or comfortable enough. We spend our second night in another hotel in Eger gor the same price which was way better!

Review 31：A superb hotel in an excellent place. My wife and I enjoyed it so much that we stayed another 2 nights. Eger itself is well worth a visit. The hotel has a lovely balcony on the 1st floor.
Review 32：The climate control didn't work. The manager even tried to explain to me that I didn't even need it and she told me stupid excuses why they cannot turn it on. The room wasn't cleaned properly during our stay. One of the receptionist is rude, however the others are kind. Water pressure in the shower is poor and it is not comfortable for a taller person. Rooms with windows to the street are not quite.

Review 46：The towels are a bit like sandpaper and the shower has no curtain, sothe bathroom floor will be soaking wet. But don't worry, you can sanddown the rough edges of the floor tiles with your bath towel while youclean up the water. There's some talk of the noise across the street,but Eger is really quiet - most things close by 9 pm, so it's not amajor problem, even in busier seasons. So, you'll rest peacefully here,and for the price, I think it's a great find.
Review 47：Szent Janos is in a great location, very central, which most things willbe in a town the size of Eger. Still, though, the staff is very helpfuland kind and the breakfast is an impressive spread (every bit asinvolved as a b&b). So for those Westerners that want to find a b&b,there are hotel options that offer the same deal, without the personaltouch. Unlimited coffee from a good espresso maker, meats and cheeses,breads and pastries. Cereal too! Good place, good price.
