Review 1：Upon arrival we were welcomed in Hotel Pironi. It is a very nostalgic, warm, cosy and upper class hotel with this rustic feel. We were taken to our room and all was explained to us. The bathroom was practical, classy, and more than adequate with lovely lotions etc. There is even a shower cap for men. The room was fresh, clean, with beautiful heavy rustic furniture. The balcony had a view of the lake and we spend a lovely time there having tea. There is a big lounge area in the hotel with balconies overlooking the old town. Beautiful tasteful heavy furniture with a lot of historical books about the area and museums. There is a coffee machine as well as tea and a plate of fresh pastries with is filled daily. The breakfast was also very tasteful with such a lot of choices. I enjoyed the home made jams. I had to try the apricot and black berry jam, and did not even get to the Marmalade. The setting was so classy. There is a carpark with a remote gate, which came in very handy. You even get your own remote. We enjoyed it so much, and would like to come back, but this time only for a longer time, as we only spend 2 nights. This is really a hotel to be recommended.

Review 5：The hotel is a jewel. It is simply breathtaking and the architecture is fascinating.Its situation in the heart of Cannobio is ideal. Central but at the same time very quiet and private. We especially enjoyed our balcony with lakeview where we spent quite a few restful hours. The staff is extremely helpful and attentive, the breakfast buffet varied and delicious. We loved it all. Finding the hotel parking lot on arrival was a bit of a challenge. Perhaps the hotel could include a somewhat more precise description of how to get there.

A stunning hotel, stylish and chic. Breakfast was far better than the usual fair and the associated restaurant, Vizi e Sfizi excellent.
