Reviews for The Farm at San Benito
Review 1:Very limited selection of wines I've tasted better organic vegan food. Theirs was boring and bland.
Review 2:Free yoga lessons Peacocks roaming around Privacy Excellent customer service Room upgrade
Review 3:We loved the complimentary herb teas at the Healing Sanctuary Spa area but at the last night of our stay, the famale manager served my wife a cup of tea with a taste of mold and a worm was in it ! That spoiled the Spa experience.
Review 4:Great ambiance.Friendly staff.Good conversations with other guests. Holistic doctor Michel taught me an interesting holistic healing method.
Review 5:Only the Duty Day Manager gave us a problem but fortunately he did not spoil our overall experience.
Review 6:Wonderful haven to treat yourself to some relaxation and alternative therapies. A large estate where there's sanctuary to think, meditate or just wind down from the stress of live. Perfect place. The colema was a new experience with organic coffee.
Review 7:The food was good but it was not very exciting. The smoothies I enjoyed, ginger teas etc. Breakfasts were nice. However, the salads were fairly plain and unimaginative, the food was vegan but not very imaginative. The lunch and dinner menu after two days was becoming very same same... I feel that this may need to be stepped up a little if they want to compete with other health retreats.
Review 8:The activities and surrounds were lovely, the staff were always friendly and helpful without fault.
Review 9:Absolutely nothing was wrong could not fault the pristine hotel
Review 10:Absolutely fantastic I cannot recommend this any higher than I do it was a magnificent professionally run friendly hotel and well above my expectstions
Review 11:Our double room was small and basic - no bath, slightly tired towels and furnishings. Food not for us - vegan is one thing, raw vegan limited to locally sourced foods is a whole other ball game. Every meal was coconut based (oil/water/cream/meat) - I can never eat coconut again!
Review 12:Beautiful setting. Great swimming pools. Excellent, attentive staff, and great classes. Lovely beauty treatments. Perfect for a juice cleanse
Review 13:I wish they had a complimentary shuttle from the airport. I had to haggle for taxis since the quote The Farm offered me was much more than I got myself.
Review 14:The Farm is blissful and the perfect serene getaway for singles or couples. The raw food will definitely nourish your body and soul. Great staff too.
Review 15:food extrem vegetarian - no variety, Adrian at the poolside restaurant was for us the best. He was fast, pleasant and took really care of our needs spa area fantastic, sometimes the "be quite" signs are taken a little too serious
Review 16:pools were very nice and pleasant, staff was not very friendly in the restaurant. the food in the restaurant took far too long to be served. We sometimes waited more than 40 minutes for a simple meal. Reorder of coffee was simply ignored until we complained
Review 17:Had difficulties getting to this resort due to its remote location. Beware that online maps like Google or Waze do not accurately show the correct route.
Review 18:Food was good.
Review 19:The food is ok but needs more variety especially if you are staying for quite awhile.
Review 20:I really liked everything about the place. In fact 2 of my co workers are already booking for this place.
Review 21:The food is just the one downside because if you're not vegan, you'll definitely not like it there. I wish they serve at least fish
Review 22:i love the the place, it's serenity, facilities & the staff were all polite & very accommodating.
Review 23:The rates of the spa (massage) and even the rooms were over the top. Would have been ideally perfect had the price were a little bit lower.
Review 24:The friendly staff, the fact that we were upgraded to a better villa. The food was good too.
Review 25:No complaints.
Review 26:I loved the gardens, the pool, spa and outdoor yoga. A sense of tranquility and being part of natural surroundings is felt throughout the resort. The staff bent over backwards to accommodate evry little request. The food was light and healthy but very tasty.
Review 27:The environment was beautiful and relaxing. There was enough to do, and much to 'explore' in and around the property. My teenage daughter tried and enjoyed the raw healthy food :-) which was amazing.
Review 28:I am not opposed to vegetarian cuisine, but vegan is a bit too extreme, especially no milk or eggs. I would come back again, but am worried that the food is just not okay for every meal. Why can't you offer non vegan options that are also healthy? Dairy is also good. The rooms were also a bit small, pictures were a bit deceptive as we were a bit cramped in Palmyra suites, why skimp on room size with such expansive ground available?
Review 29:Grounds were lovely, and yoga classes were very good, swimming pool areas were both beautiful. Good spa area.
Review 30:For the price of our villa (php 15,000/night) I would expect to have a very comfortable stay. Our bed have lizard poops all the time. 2 lizards fell on me while I was laying in bed. Ants are crawling up on me the whole night. There was a "tuko" that has been creeping us out for all the nights we spent on the resort. Tons of bugs on our bedsheets. If I didnt think of putting a mosquito net, I'm not sure if the staff will be able to resolve our problem about the insects. I know it's more like a "farm" experience....but for the price I paid, staying on a tent would have been better. The food is good, but I think its overpriced. A plate if lettuce, dressing and some peanuts for 480 pesos excluding 22% vat and service charge is way too much even if it's organic.
Review 31:Everything outside our villa was great. The pool, meditation lounges, spa facilities. You would surely enjoy their facilities. Very serene and quiet. Great way to relax and unwind from my very busy life in NY. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.
Review 32:The bathroom in our villa.

Review 60:This resort is not only diet phisically but also mental cleaning, Food is very good.Stuff is nice,Fascility is beautiful,
Review 61:None.
Review 62:The staff are very friendly and helpful. My sulu terrace is very comfortable. Food is tasty.
Review 63:Expensive. This should be affordable. Organic farming is even less expensive than the fertilized treated farming.
Review 64:The healthy organic living.
Review 65:We were upgraded to garden villa # 19, which is begging for a renovation. It is totally dated and looked sad. Even the little patch of green around it was badly tended. The restaurant is exorbitantly expensive considering the simple and very limited menu it has. There are many other Vegan recipes that could be more apetizing and delicious than the fare they offer. Staff should practice more spa etiquette and speak in more hushed tones. The therapists were good in this sense though.
Review 66:Loved the site, the landscaping, trees and greenery. Loved the spa reception area and the main reception area. Very beautiful place with many spots to walk around, sit, or meditate.
Review 67:The place is not so clean, room has NO TV if I didnt ask to provide it they will not. Full of moskitos, flys. They should call it a hospital, no meet no fish no eggs every thing is vagitirian
Review 68:No alternatives to the restaurant so after 3 days menue starts to become boring. comfort of room is OK but not to the level of the price paid.
Review 69:Great surroundings
Review 70:amazing food and services great yoga teachers with the studio overlooking the mountain and the lake very friendly medical staff and great detox treatments
